I have been working with Danielle, one of the four Physical Therapist here. She is personable and knowledgeable of exercises that work for each injury. Exercises are also individualized. The PT assistants Melanie and Allison are also wonderful and assist with each exercise. The building is well-kept, the therapy spaces are clean, and they have privacy curtains and rooms. They also offer dry needling for pain if that works for you. I have made tremendous progress since my first visit. There is plenty of parking and easily accessible. If you are familiar with Target in The Grove, it is located in a smaller building in front of it. Although this is a chain, it doesn't feel like your typical chain office.

Mine was a difficult to diagnose issue with several factors playing into my problem. She stays openminded about the diagnosis and carefully considers the possible ramifications of each new bit of medical evidence or my experience. She is also a pleasure to spend time with as the treatments go forward: very bright, funny, and cares about her profession very much. I cannot recommend her highly enough. All of the other staff are very pleasant to be with as well. They have been very accommodating as it relates to my constantly changing work and travel schedule.

They are very attentive to the needs of their clients/patients. They listen to what is happening and tweak therapy sessions in an attempt to pinpoint areas that need attention. They have a great selection of equipment at their disposal for building strength. As well as a variety of electrical therapy. If you find yourself needing a rehab provider, these guys are all the best and truly seem to care about the service they are providing and genuinely want to see you get better. They would be my go to therapist for anything I needed in the future and I would recommend them to everyone needing this type of service.

They offer both homeopathic medicines as well the standard medications. Dr. Jimmeh (who sadly left during COVID) was the most knowledgeable and helpful, she was one of the best pain/neurologist doctors I've seen ever. The staff is always helpful, and easy to work with, Especially when BC/BS messes with medication coverage. Sadly after Dr. Jimmeh left I was put with another doctor, him and I didn't see eye to eye and my confidence in the Doleys clinic lagged. I may have left but I would still very much recommend them as one of the few good pain clinics in the Birmingham area. The surgeon told me it was one of the worst injuries he has seen in a guy in his mid-30's. The day after surgery I walked into Therapy South Vestavia to begin the road to recovery. The staff was absolutely incredible. Every time I walked in, they were attentive, knowledgeable, and were personally engaged in my recovery. Today, I completed three months of Physical Therapy to restore my shoulder to full mobility and get back to normal life. I can lift my small kids over my head, get back in the gym, and throw a ball with my oldest for the upcoming Spring baseball season. I can honestly I would not be where I am today with the folks at Therapy South. I have been through PT elsewhere in Birmingham and they cannot compare to the quality of Therapy South. This Outpatient Surgery Center celebrated it's one year anniversary January of this year so they are quite "new". They are located right beside the original One Nineteen Wellness Center which houses physician groups on the top floors while the bottom floor is a complete gym with swimming pool. In fact, they even share the same parking lot. This outpatient surgery center can be compared to the "North Tower" which is located on the campus of the original St. Vincent's Hospital in downtown Birmingham. While the North Tower is larger and more established, it is also older and much busier. This new outpatient center has four state of the art operating rooms and 9 recovery bays. Equipped with the latest technology, they provide a wide range of same-day procedures but they specialize in spinal and GI. A year ago my Mother-in-law had to undergo her first epidural and she went to the the North Tower. Her 2nd epidural was also there but her next one and her most recent was here at this outpatient center. What a stark difference! Parking was ample. Accessibility, ambience, front desk staff, nurses... all professional, amazing, kind and friendly! I'm not necessarily implying that the staff at the North Tower are any less dedicated, but from a patient point of view, the experience is much more "pleasant" at this location. Their spotless lobby has a big tv to keep you entertained if you're waiting for a loved one who is having a procedure and they even have a small room off to the side where they have a Keurig type coffee maker for free coffee. I suspect that as word of this facility grows and more physicians gain access, it will become more popular, but for now if you are planning to have a same day surgical procedure, inquire if your surgeon has privileges here at this outpatient center. It would be worth a drive.

Once I had forgotten to schedule and just showed up and they were so nice trying to squeeze me in. I'm a surgeon in town and have to say that it refreshing to see a team work so well together.
