I first reached out to Archetype back in September of this year at 33 weeks pregnant. I was dealing with a great deal of hip pain, low back pain, and had just found my baby to be transverse - I walked in with some big asks for Dr. John, haha! Intake/eval process was awesome - very thorough, detailed, and personal. Everything felt very individually catered to my specific needs, not some universal care plan given to whoever walks in the door. In just 4 weeks (8 adjustments) my baby had turned head down (YES!) and my hip & back pain were both very well controlled between visits despite being even further along in my pregnancy! I continued bi-weekly adjustments until baby was born (head down, and at home!) at 40 weeks 3 days. I credit so much of my baby's ideal positioning and ideal labor progression to Dr. John's ability to keep my body and baby so well aligned and ready! The muscle work you get during your visit is next level amazing, the office staff is so kind and personable - always remembering little details about each patient and making you feel so welcome when you walk in. My experience with Dr. John has been wonderful. He's a great Chiropractor, but even more than that he truly cares about each of his patients. He's gone out of his way to help me with all my little issues - injured toe, tight hip flexors, etc. Things most Doctors would overlook and assume unimportant. Furthermore, he has improved my athletic performance tremendously. I've been CrossFitting for almost 5 years and I have seen huge improvements in all areas of my workouts since I started seeing Dr. John 3 months ago. The biggest improvement so far has been a 35 lb PR in my overhead squat, which I have always struggled with. Even at light weights of 55 or 60 lbs that movement has been impossible for me because I had so much tightness in my low back that I couldn't get good squat depth with any weight over my head. Last week, I performed an overhead squat with 95 lbs with no low back tightness at all! NONE! That is such a huge improvement for me and I know it's from the regular Chiro care. Best Chiropractor ever! Very knowledgeable, and geared toward decreasing pain and increasing mobility.

I started going to them about 3 months ago with a really tight neck and issues with my upper back. Instead of just treating the problem, they want to find out the source. After a consult and xrays, they know what the baseline is and prepare you a plan from that. They put me on a care plan that had me going three times a week. It has pretty much alleviated all everyday pain I was having. I still currently go (not as often) to insure that the neck pain does not come back. Dr John and Dr V are great people and are easy to get along with. You can tell they both care about the patient's daily lives along with their muscle issues. You may also get a quick muscular therapy session right before your appointment. Justin (muscular therapist) walks around ahead of the chiropractors to work on your hurt spots to help loosen your muscles before the dr gets to you. I would highly recommend people who have been put off by other chiropractors to try them out if they are having muscle pain. read more

After meeting Dr. John, and talking with him, I had hope that he could help me with my constant low back pain. In just a few weeks, I was pain free, with no drugs.
