Great shop! Not sure what the price issues are about. I'm a low income parent and found the prices to be spot on for the service. For myself (a small cup with 2 flavors) 2 kids cones and 1 kid cup, it was $20 . That's much less than I expected to pay. Also the girl behind the counter, Gwen I believe, was kind and patient while we decided on size and flavors. She managed the non stop line well also. Visited here with a friend. The ice cream is just OK, it doesn't taste as good as it does when you buy it in a container at the grocery store. That seems contradictory because it should taste better and fresher at the ice cream shop. I have been to a couple B&J's over the years and the only one that was better than the carton was in Vegas. The shop girl was friendly and happy to answer the plethora of questions my friend gave her and patiently answered her dozen questions. My friend tipped her. Came here with my sister after having lunch at Fondi Pizza, we weren't hungry and had zero plans for dessert but when we walked past we had to turn right back around and go in. I dropped in with my daughter to give her a treat and they were great about giving us a taste to help with the decision making. She of course chose vanilla. Great vanilla. We ordered my daughter an all ice cream cake for her 5th birthday as she disliked cake. The only flavor she likes is mint chocolate. Their mint chocolate has no artificial coloring and a very yummy natural mint and dark chocolate chunks. The frosting was a light fluffy whipped cream. We have been coming to Ben and Jerry's since they first opened in GH. Tonight we stop in and they have hardly any flavors, no dairy free or sorbets. So the ones in the group ordered their ice cream and as always they ordered 2 flavors in their pints. It's part of the allure of stopping in instead of just going to Safeway. Halfway through the order the 2nd girl walks up to the gal scooping our group and says what are you doing? No splitting pints and then when we said we have never had a problem she got loud and asked who the employee is that does that. I described 2 people and it turns out it's the manager and the owner. She then said that they do what they want. I wanted to walk out I was so embarrassed. We paid and left. And group agreement is we will never be back. And no samples. Safeway is 1/2 the price for the same product. Customer service matters. This place has lost theirs. read more

I was thrilled to find of Ben and Jerry's had a store front! I was even more happy with the non dairy options they have seeing as how I have a little one who can't have dairy. They have almond milk alternative ice creams but he's also allergic to nuts so we stuck with sorbet. I was happy they had more than 1 flavor to choose from for him! The ice cream and sorbets here are much better than ice cream competitors. I'm from across the bridge though so if we go to Ben and Jerry's I'm basically adding $6 to the bill! If we are really craving good ice cream choices that we can't get on the east side of the narrows I'm willing to fit the fee! Ben and Jerry's is also the priciest ice cream I've enjoyed. My kids and I can't get out of there for under $25, but like I said, I think it's worth it! My favorite is the sunflower butter cold brew coffee ice cream with hot fudge and whip cream! I would 100% recommend read more

Ben & Jerry is one of those places you have to go just cause you should. My first taste was in California and was happy when they finally built one close by especially in my home town. If you haven't tried their ice cream their flavors are always a interesting journey with unique flavors. I had the Chunky Monkey (Banana Ice Cream with Fudge Chunks & Walnuts) on a waffle cone. It tasted great but other than the unique flavors there's little else that is just amazing that would earn it 4-5 stars. read more

The ice cream here is good, however the prices are a bit expensive compared to their store bought ice cream. But if you want that ice cream shop atmosphere then I would recommend it. There is a few tables with some chairs to sit inside or out if you'd like. I got a small cup of totally baked and my girlfriend got a small cup of the tonight dough. The price for both cups was 11$. Not exactly a good deal, but besides from that I love the ice cream and the atmosphere, the employees are always nice. read more

We ordered 3 sheet ice cream cakes and 1 small round cake for our wedding, and they were perfect! For this many cakes, it is recommended that you call a few weeks ahead to put in an order. The woman who took my order was helpful in thinking through the decorations for the small round cake which was the one we were using to cut. They were able to do a custom flower decoration. Just FYI, if you're trying to figure out how to transport these, we highly recommend dry ice in a cooler (not fully closed to let it off gas). This helped keep the cakes fresh and well for a couple days! read more

The absolute worst service I've ever had here! My friend and I came in , there was no one at the counter. We waited 10 minutes for someone to come out. The worst part is he didn't even greet us, proceeded to put his gloves on very slowly. And then just stood there staring at us! So I took it upon myself and asked if he wanted us to order, because usually the person behind the counter ask if we'd like to try a flavor. Ice Cream!! Two words that bring a smile to everyone's face. Ben & Jerry's has some of the best ice cream around, and the shop has flavors that aren't available in stores. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you can get samples of anything! I personally love the shakes, but the wife enjoys getting scoops. Prices are higher than if we bought pints in the store, but we enjoy the experience and getting a wider variety of flavors. Besides, it's a great place to stop after a movie! read more

I finally called my wife and asked her what to do. She walked me through the kiosk process, shared her text code, and I was able to complete the order. I mean, the kiosk wasn't that bad, but I literally would not have been able to do this without my wife's code. The two stars is because the cookies looked good, and it was a deal. They had a sign up the first day that advertised a rose honey latte special, and I love all of that, so I ordered it large and iced. It was amazing. I like my lattes with flavor, but I also want to be able to take the coffee and get a balance. If my coffee doesn't taste like coffee, it's too sweet. I could taste all the elements here and it's clear they use good, high-quality ingredients. They even topped it with rose petals! One day I strayed and ordered one of their specialty mochas, which I am generally hesitant to order because they're often way too sweet. I saw they use Holy Kakow syrup and know that's pretty good stuff. The mocha was really good, but also over $9 for a large before tip. That's my main complaint about this is that it's expensive. That being said, it's Vashon Island and most everything is super expensive. My large, iced latte is under $8 before tip and that feels more justifiable. This is overall a really cool place to check out with some cool history. The tea selection is absolutely amazing, though I'm too much of a coffee person to try it.

When you walk in, you're immediately hit with the smell of the roasted coffee beans, and you can see them roasting the beans from inside the shop. So cool! They have a wall of teas, a case of baked goods, and so much more that I probably even missed some things, like checking out the bookstore. I was feeling a bit worn from my travels so I decided on a Golden Mylk instead of opting for coffee. The Golden Mylk was a perfect blend of spices and creaminess. Very cozy, warm, and the perfect drink for a cloudy day. I also tried the Vashon Fog which was delicious. Not too sweet, and you could taste the tea over the milk, it didn't taste watered down. You have to check them out if you visit Vashon island!

All the pottery is in another side room with more seats. All pottery have different prices and they have many different colors and styles. The staff was absolutely fantastic to work with and so very kind to one of our kids who accidentally knocked over a pottery item and only chipped the bottom of it. Staff was so kind it made the time here so memorable. Highly recommend again and again.
