Went to est before xmas and remember thinking "it's ok but not what it used to be"…read more Tonight we had a delivery: 1- young girl on the Phone, absolutely lovely 2- arrived about 35min after call, which is fine 3- the food, we are both disappointed. Mim ordered ribs and it came with this tomato sauce on top which we did not appreciate. The meat was sliding off the bone easily but it was dry. The coleslaw had literally no taste. I had their portuguese poutine. It is ok, nothing to wow about and personally the portuguese sausage dies not go with poutine. I'd go back only if friends really wanna go. Ok

They have wonderful little booths that were red couches I really wanted to sit there as it looked very cozzy but the hostess informed me it was for people who reserved ahead of time... ( I was there 2 hours nobody was seated in those booths not one person) they have a great huge outdoor space but since it was to cold still wasn't open. There was a bday party in the bar section, so many people that were blocking the way to the bathroom over 30 they did not care at all it was like pushing through a packed escalator. They should have been seated or out the way it was to much. Service wasn't the greatest I had about 6-7 different People coming To our table so it got a bit confusing as to who was our waitress. The drink specials didn't include the peachtini which sucked because that was the first drink we ordered. Then after hearing that rum, gin, vodka all rail booze was on sale I decided to get jack and coke only to realize it wasn't part of the deal... I had to ask and she knew I thought it was part of the deal so a bit sneaky but I switched to rum after. Always nice to have that happen when you're out spending with your friends. Also noticed out waitress was drinking with a table with two men not sure if that was the owner but not cool if I'm trying to get your attention to switch an order or ask for a glass of water! Food was good, my fondue wasn't anything out of this world because the bread was way to fresh and soft, usually with fondue you would use harder bread or even cracker like toast chips so it would Go well together. I added pepper to bring it all together. My chicken salad was interesting... the chicken I thought was gonna be a breast with skin and crispy but it was a breast just a regular breast no spices. The salad was good it's self. I tried the bavette it was great the sauce they used and veggies were cooked well. Calamari was greasy a bit with barely any calamari. I would come back I loved the place it's self. Service needs to be worked on, staff needs to be better trained. Menu princes are a bit ridiculous for what it is, it's so far out of town, I thought it would be cheaper.I saved a big -17.90 off my bill of over 200 something. They need to put a drink menu with what's on sale that way you don't get tricked and have to spend more like we did. Other then that it's a great spot check it out.

You want to be brought in and it's dark and moody with the BEST craft cocktail list. The theme is duck - which is so fun. Our bartender was OUTSTANDING. The first time, the music was extremely loud, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. The bar was completely packed, and there was only one bartender making drinks, so the wait was a bit longer than expected. We decided to give it another try, and I'm so glad we did. The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

First of all, the lounge is laid out well with different types of seating from bar stools to booths to cushioned seats. It's also kept clean of clutter. It looked spotless when I went around 8 a.m. on a Monday in July. Every table/place to sit comes with a QR code you scan to order made-to-order dishes. For breakfast, they had toasts, avocado toast, eggs, breakfast sandwiches and more. The sausage breakfast sandwich was hearty and comes with potatoes. At the bar are fruit cups, yogurt, and fresh fruit. They have an area for to-go boxes if you're in a rush. There are alcoholic drinks at the bar and several coffee machines that make lattes, etc. They also have orange and apple juice for breakfast. Many tables have magazines on them, outlets nearby, and strong wi-fi. Staff are friendly and attentive. One thing to note is that there are no restrooms inside, but there are nearby.

You walk in and there's a clothing store on one side and black curtains straight ahead. I just stood there confused for a second until someone suddenly appeared and escorted me through the curtains, down a long dark hallway, and into this intimate, dimly lit bar. Turns out, I had accidentally stumbled into a speakeasy. The space is tiny--maybe 6-8 seats at the bar and a long banquet along the wall for 10-12 more people. No menus either. They ask what you like and don't like, then craft a cocktail specifically for you. The pours are generous and the bar is stocked with top-shelf liquor. About a drink and a half in, I realized I needed actual food immediately and had to leave. The staff was friendly, personable, and chatty, and because the space is so intimate, you naturally end up talking with the people around you. Definitely more of a solo or date-night spot than a group hang. Such a cool, unexpected experience.
