I showed him around the house and talked to him about my wiring needs for every room except the kitchen, which had been done by a licensed electrician a year earlier as part of a kitchen remodel. As we walked around the house, he said he was going to rewire the kitchen, even though it had already been done. He didn't really give a reason. I took him to the crawlspace after that where he discovered some questionable wiring. A week and a half passed and still no quote was sent to me so I contacted Joel and 2 to 3 days later spoke with Michael, who called me to say he would have it the next day but it ended up coming a few days later. The quote was at the high end and just a lump sum with very little detail. I responded a few days later with an email asking for detail and a breakout of the kitchen that I didn't want to pay for twice but didn't hear from him again until the following week. Communication was very poor. Because I was new to the area I posted on the NextDoor app asking people if not receiving any detail with a quote was a common occurrence for Western NC. Many people responded that it was not and that they wouldn't accept a quote like that (I did not mention 828 electric in my post). When Michael finally called me after days had passed once again, he stated that providing a lump sum without detailed parts and labor was the way they did things, and no one had ever asked him for more detail (apparently I was the first in all the years they'd been in business). I found that hard to believe but didn't really know what to say. He said that he wanted to rewire the kitchen because of the questionable wiring in the crawlspace but when he told me he was including the kitchen in his quote, he hadn't yet seen the questionable wiring so that was patently not true. He continued the call in a this is "my way or the highway" tone instead of looking for a middle ground regarding detail. Of course I didn't use them and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I would hire them again any time! The guys were prompt, professional, explained everything they did, and tested before they left to ensure everything worked. I hired another local company to label my breaker box before calling Jaska. I wish I had gone to Yelp sooner because the local company with initials FE didn't even label the breaker panel correctly and charged me $132 for a service visit, not to mention they quoted me a price that was $1500 more than Jaska. I had an appointment set up for 1:30 PM and expected that the service techs would be late as most are. Seems punctuality is a rare virtue these days. I was shocked when the All Seasons van came rolling into the driveway right time. Shane and Barry (the Service Techs) greeted me, check out the unit, made a few repairs and were gone in a flash. Having never used All Seasons before I was braced for what could have been a bad experience. The unit had not ran in two seasons and I could have easily been led to believe it needed expensive repairs. Not the case. Shane and Barry explained what they needed to do it get it running, found a minor issue that they corrected and took care of business a very professional and timely manner. The bill I received was very much appreciated. I don't mind paying for quality service and that's they delivered. Based on my first and only experience, I will be using All Seasons again in the future.

With this heat being unbearable i was really surprised at how fast they came out. because i know they are extremely busy. The man who came to my house was very helpful explained everything so i could understand and answered all my questions i had. My unit was low on freon and he explained what he needed to do and how much it would cost so there was no surprises. I am now back in the cool and fixed, this company is AWESOME!! Its nice to know there are still awesome people out there that you can trust and not take advantage of you. I will be getting them to do maintenance on my unit yearly. The team was able to come out very quickly--next day, I believe--and provide an exact cost for the work. It was a fair price, given their responsiveness. Steve and James were great guys who went above and beyond and made sure everything was 100% and cleaned up. They also suggested work arounds to use the equipment I bought for the job. Shout out to Jeremy who set up the task with me giving me options for how to accomplish the job. It's the 2nd time I've used A-American Electric and both times the electricians were stellar. Definitely my electricians here in Arden.
