    After setting up my home with a full security system with a signed contract, I then decided to have…read morethree video cameras installed. I flew 1,000 miles for the installation and they cancelled the appointment the SAME DAY after waiting three months for it. I changed my flight out and the installer finally came. Unfortunately, the wire fell off the video camera the next day. Now, the same camera doesn't work. The support person on the phone asked if I had checked the internet signal to see if it was OK to install the system to begin with. I said to her, you mean it's MY responsible to check this and not the installer. And, she said yes. Now, the camera doesn't work again and I suspect the wire is loose. They said they would check the outside camera after an hour of arguing, but after that, I would be charged $50 for a house visit. If you're wise, don't use CPI. They are rude, unprofessional, misleading, inept, argumentative, have no accountability and possess absolutely no level of customer care. Be forewarned!!!!! Don't be misled. You have other alternatives for security systems that would love to have your business and I suspect, do a far better job with less aggravation!

I hate to write negative reviews, but when I caught them double billing my monthly draft they kept me on the phone for 40 min & acted like they were giving me a gift instead of refunding the money they stole. I regret doing business with them and would discourage anyone else from doing so. I hate that this will harm local installers, but I feel that they are a dinosaur & companies like RING have caused them to hire unskilled customer service & compromise their standards

    I received a voucher for ADT products and services after purchasing my home. I called the number on…read morethe voucher and proceeded with my order that was indicated on the voucher. I asked 2x if this included the touchpad, and the rep said yes. Once I received my Kit (and they charged me 70.00 for shipping and activation, and 49.00 a day after receiving the equipment) I was missing the touchscreen, and I received a wired doorbell. The rep did not ask or inform me about the wired doorbell, and I dont have existing wiring. The system I was sent was called "Blue by ADT" . I called customer service and transferred 3x while having long waits. I was informed the system does not include the touch panel and they only have wired doorbells. Only ADT has the battery operated door bells. I explained I called the number on the voucher that states "Google Nest Doorbell" I received something called Blue. The rep said I was signed up for the Blue service, and tried to explain, I called the number on the voucher. She said I was sent Blue because I am not a homeowner, which I am. She was rude explaining why I was billed and kept insisting only ADT (not Blue by ADT) carries the products I was calling in about. Like I said, I called the number on the voucher. Very unprofessional, and did not even know if the doorbell had a battery option when I first called.

I scanned the business card he gave me and attached it to the review…read more Have you ever had the experience of trying to deal with a home network problem by going through your ISP, and, the vendor of whatever other networking equipment you are using? Each of them says that things look good on their end, and you need to contact the "other guy". How about trying to do that on the phone? You live in an area with poor cell signal, and the only way you can have a conversation is to utilize "wifi calling", except - you DON'T HAVE WIFI, so the call is breaking up and you can barely understand each other. The chance of getting a technician from your ISP to pay you a visit is about as likely as winning the lottery. I did a search on Yelp and Adam was the first - got another response from one other vendor who said they couldn't help me - to respond. He said he could come the next day, and it turns out he is located only 15 minutes from my house. I had done some remediation before his arrival and found out that my problem was not due to equipment, but a configuration decision that I had made that gradually disrupted my network (No, the customer is NOT always right). Adam explained everything that had happened, tweaked some settings, and made some suggestions about how I could optimize my setup. He is very knowledgeable about many networking, communication, and security issues. This will lead me to work with him in the future to improve the quality of our cell signal and do some rewiring to improve the performance of our home network. He also has expertise in other areas - it turns out he used to work for the company that services the entry gates into our community and is also extremely well-versed in network security issues. His hourly rate is entirely reasonable, IMHO. Finally, he is a REALLY nice guy. I can't recommend him highly enough.
