Steve and James were great guys who went above and beyond and made sure everything was 100% and cleaned up. They also suggested work arounds to use the equipment I bought for the job. Shout out to Jeremy who set up the task with me giving me options for how to accomplish the job. It's the 2nd time I've used A-American Electric and both times the electricians were stellar. Pigeon River Paint Company has earned their reputation as the areas leading full service painting professions. But PRPC goes far beyond just providing a quality painting service. We asked Mahaila and Kris to come out and help us figure out the best way to remake a wall and fireplace to lighten up our living room. After the first call they were prompt, on time and a joy to work with. They offered several suggestions and a recommendation that turned out exactly as we wanted. Their design ideas were spot on. Once we agreed on the details and schedule, a miracle happened. The PRPC team showed up on time EVERY DAY! Mahaila explained to us keeping schedule promises was one of their core values. Meticulous doesn't do justice to their attention to detail. Every aspect of preparation ensured protection of both our furnishing and other areas of the house. At the end of each day the team cleaned up the work area and put things away. As the work progressed Kris ensured we were satisfied with each stage and quickly corrected anything we found. He also supervised his teams directly to make sure they understood the work to be done. While we expected PRPC to be a full service painting company we soon found out that they can do much more and with the same quality result. Our renovation also included a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. Mahaila and Kris were able to remove the old kitchen (cabinets and appliances) and bathrooms (shower and tub removal, vanities,etc.) as well as rebuild the bathroom floors. Prior to the kitchen cabinet installation their team hung new drywall in the kitchen ceiling and refinished the entire first floor ceiling. They brought in an excellent tiling professional who rebuilt the shower and the tub tiling and laid new tile floors (he also did new tile around the fireplace). Their access to other quality tradesman makes them an ideal one-stop-shop for new construction and renovations. This has been our fifth home renovation and Mahaila and Kris at Pigeon River Paint Company made this one the easiest by far!

I told him why I needed to rearrange the electrical system in my house. The purpose for the indoor work was to hook-up a power generator and getting it up and running outside. He didn't tell me in advance what accessories I'd need to buy. I was charged for his time waiting for me to get the items. It was very frustrating because the stores didn't have what I needed and I had to drive all over town searching for it. I would not recommend doing business with them without first getting a written statement for all the work they plan to do and all of their charges in advance. Also, one of their workers spilled gasoline all over and I had to pay twice to fill my generator. He charged me almost $2,000 when his estimate was for only $1,000. He acted like hooking up a generator is not his job as an electrician, yet a handyman would not have known what to do because this required specialized knowledge, something only a licensed electrician would be qualified to know and do the job correctly and safely.

It has been almost a year since the installation and it has performed flawlessly with the exception of the Xfinity thermostat which had some software glitches from Carrier that were resolved. This is a high end system and it works as I envisioned and has many options available through the thermostat that must be learned. I am having a whole house humidifier installed that will be controlled through the thermostat that will help with the air quality and efficiency. The installation was done professionally and correctly. The glitches were addressed quickly and properly. The installation technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. My heating and cooling costs are less even with Duke Energy's incessant rate hikes. I would recommend this company to anyone from a lower end budget customer to a high end.
