After having experienced tremendous issues with a different electrician these guys are the real deal. Billy, Dan and Bobby took charge. They are knowledgeable, not arrogant (you know the type). They are reasonably priced and are quite busy as a result. They are a compassionate crew as well, scheduling our work so that we could move into our new home expeditiously. Junaluska Electrical Junaluska Electrical was contracted by our builder to do the complete electrical for our new home. From day one, Dan was wonderful to have on site. He was professional, did what he promised when he promised, and did it well. Our builder turned out to be very unscrupulous and caused many wasted hours for all of our subs, but Dan didn't complain and he continued to do excellent work. When the Builder unexpectedly pulled out and departed our unfinished job, never to return, Dan was professional enough to continue to finish the project with us. Dan was also much more aware of codes than the builder, and he was the one who got us to completion - again having to take on tasks that were not his responsibility. Highly recommended! I contacted a number of companies in the Waynesville area and the folks from Junaluska were the first and quickest to respond to my voicemail. They have voicemail they actually monitor during the day!! Matt Green called us when he was notified and said he was on his way and said he would be up shortly, which he was. It's interesting when you start addressing a problem with a shared well, some things a plumbing company will address and some things are left to the electrician. The folks from All About Plumbing came up after a call I made this morning to check things out. The diagnosis lead him to believe it was an issue and electrician should be dealing with. I called around to a number of local electricians. Junaluska responded promptly and as I mentioned Matt came up. He found a number of poorly repaired items in the system from a previous repair. Broken wires, water in the conduit and on and on. Matt made the corrections and did an excellent job being sure we understood what he was doing and how he was making the poorly performed repair. We needed an electrical sub-panel installed in our basement as we are finishing the basement finally. We had a couple of other estimates which were not reasonable at all. Bill came and reviewed our job requirements and gave us a reasonable estimate which we gladly accepted. Bobby and Bill showed up on time and did an amazing job. It's clear they pride themselves in quality workmanship. The job passed inspection without a problem and we are very pleased with the job. I was really worried about having to get my breaker panel moved and upgraded. Not only did these gentlemen come to my house the same day I called them to give me an estimate, but their estimate was quite reasonable. They stayed in near constant communication with me with regard to timing and cost. The final cost was very close to their original estimate. They took care of absolutely everything, from getting the permit to the inspection. I will absolutely use their services again. read more
