I came in with a single hearing aid I'd purchased elsewhere a few years back--oh, how I wish I had known about Access Hearing then! My hearing had changed, and I was struggling to hear clearly. For a very reasonable fee, Michael adjusted my device to absolute perfection and even unlocked features I didn't know it had. He took his time, listened carefully to what I wanted, and made sure every detail was right. I left hearing better than I have in years--and smiling the whole way home. From now on, I'll be getting all of my hearing devices from Access Hearing. Highly recommend to anyone who wants top-notch care and personal attention for their hearing needs!

I was very astounded though, that they would be open(if but for limited hours) on a Sunday. And to come to think that the doctor who was good at treating me was the only one scheduled to work that day(the one appointment in this office), this appointment worked out pretty well. Although I later learned that their seating was bigger than originally seen, it appeared to me at first, to be a small office. But looks were astounding back in 2009, and by later that year when I had full control of my eye-health (for several months), I was astounded. They had grown in members. The office room was crowded on some weekdays. Each doctor is fully versed in their professions. Although some doctors run around the office like crazy, when they have patients, they do take the time out to deal with the patient first(the customer is always first, works well at this location!) I was very astounded at this place, and would definitely return again if I'd have another problem such as the one I had about 3 years ago. Just be sure to call before marching yourself into the office(esp. on a weekend). It would be the one weekend they are all off, that this review wouldn't work too well. But, for the most part, they do care about their patients.

The people who answer the phones aren't always "on the ball" but the CNM's are pretty good. Barbara Smith is by far my favorite -- very thorough and very knowledgeable. One time…read moreI was literally in the waiting room in a robe for 40 minutes and no one even bothered to speak with to say "hey we're having issues , please be patient" until I opened the door to leave. Another time they said they thought I had a cyst that could be cancer, scheduled a followup ultrasound with them, and they lost all the documentation and never called me to followup. I called them after a month and they had no record of asking for the followup or the followup itself. The girl at the front desk in kingston is about the most discourteous front desk worker I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. This "care-giver" specifically closes the window when you are standing at it, then she does work to try and not meet your eyes. Should i talk about the bathroom and how it had fecal matter all over it when I had to use it for a urine test? If you do have to use them, try and use rhinebeck at least they answer the phone there. I really fail to see how their automated system to take messages only works after 9am. If it's an automated system, that says to call back at 9, why in the world can't it take messages before 9 if they won't give you a person when they open? Oh, and how many times have i called in for a prescription ot be filled and had to physically go in and wait until i saw them call it in? Sure the people are knowledgeable when you actually get someone to help you, but i'm wondering how many HIPPAA violations this place has had if they can't even return a phone call? I hope you don't care about your sensitive private information staying private!

Went back to Ear Care and was assured they would do their best to help him using the hearing aids we had gotten from them. They were kind, considerate, understanding, helpful and successful. Dan didn't give up until my husband was able to hear without anyone shouting at him. Now he is happy and hopeful again. I am also very happy since I no longer have to shout or deal with a sore and hoarse throat. The concern, the assurance, the kindness, patience and success were like a miracle for us. We would recommend Ear Care and Dan to anyone who needs help with their hearing. Dolly S

For that matter the whole neighborhood is relatively new. Listening to the staff interact with each other and the patients, you can tell they are happy there. No "bad' vibes nor tension; i e a nontoxic work environment. It's not a noisy or a chaotic place. That's reassuring; you're there for an operation. Not a day at an amusement park. The anesthesiologist, I didn't catch her name, came in and asked "what I was there for?" Her cheerful attitude helped me relax, before going into the operating theater. Every step of the way your ID is confirmed, what's about to happen is explained, so a child could understand, and made to feel psychologically comfortable. At no time did I feel neglected or ignored. There are several pre-op and post-op bays. Intake RN Kurt was reassuring and efficient with both our time. Post Op RN Ellen gave detailed post-op instructions, explained how to donn, doff, and care for the equipment. Provided post-op supplies and of course paperwork. Overall, I was quite impressed. Not that I want to make this a routine procedure. But, if anyone should ask; I would highly recommend this facility.
