I was referred to Jacqueline Hartman at her Ellisville Hearing Center location for a Resound One…read morehearing aid because the referring healthcare plan provider's information indicated that Jacqueline had listed herself and her Hearing Center as an expert in Resound One hearing aids. Upon arrival, Jacqueline immediately tried to sell me a Starkey brand hearing aid instead, which was not in my best interest. It became clear that she tried to do that because she knew almost nothing about the Resound One. Her service was terrible. It was my first hearing aid experience, and Jacqueline hurried through the process without fitting the hearing aid properly for me and without ever telling me that Resound has an excellent iPhone app that works very well with their hearing aids. I discovered the app myself and subsequently asked Jacqueline about it. Her response was that there is an app and that the guidebook provides instructions on how to download and use the app with the hearing aid. At no time did Jacqueline help me with the app, set the hearing aid up for the app, or anything else. It was clear that she either did not know how to use the app or that she was not willing to do any work to help me with it. Jacqueline also did not provide me with set up of many of the Resound One's outstanding environment features such as its Outdoor and Ultra Focus settings. She never mentioned them. She incorrectly fit the hearing aids to me in such a manner that they receiver wires were not flush to my ears - her solution to that was simply to keep pushing them in further until they hurt. After only two weeks, I was so frustrated and disappointed that I was not getting the benefits of my hearings aids because Jacqueline was unwilling or lacked the knowledge of doing a good job with them, that I canceled my relationship with she and her hearing centers and returned the hearing aids to the healthcare provider so that I would be able to change to a different audiologist and start all over again, which I did. I waited until I had been provided services and assistance from the new audiologist before writing this review so that I would know for sure whether it was Jacqueline Hartman, Resound One, or me that was the problem with the inexcusably poor treatment that I had received from Jacqueline Hartman. The second audiologist did an outstanding job and I am now getting the full benefits and advantages of my hearing aids. As I had suspected, the deficiencies and problems that I experienced the first go-around were entirely the fault of Jacqueline Hartman and her Hearing Center in not being knowledgeable about a product that she claimed to be an expert on, and her failure to put much effort into doing a good job for me.

This place is truly exceptional!…read more I first visited about a year or two ago during their open house and was immediately impressed by everything they had to offer. The welcoming atmosphere and genuine kindness of the staff left a lasting impression on me. Recently, I reached out to inquire about their services and finally experienced firsthand why so many people continue to return. Before my appointment, Allison emailed my intake forms so I could complete them in advance, making the check-in process seamless. What surprised me most was that she remembered me from the open house, and I remembered her as well--a testament to the personal attention they give their clients. Within just a few minutes of arriving, I was brought back and introduced to Dr. Hagos. He took the time to review my history, thoroughly explain their services, and help determine the treatment plan that would best fit my needs. Once we decided on a course of action, Allison administered my first treatment and helped schedule my follow-up appointment. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and incredibly easy. I'm so grateful to have found a local provider for these services rather than having to travel to Miami as I did in the past. I'm excited to continue my journey with them and have complete confidence in the Beauty and Wellness team. I highly recommend!

They were extremely knowledgeable regarding the services I had booked and walked me through the entire process! Andrea answered a handful of questions I had prior to beginning the service and was very meticulous throughout - ensuring I knew exactly what was happening. I didn't just feel like a number or a credit card, I felt valued. She, as well as the other women offered a no pressure approach as well, allowing me the right to my bodily autonomy. To further, upon arrival I had asked if there was any way they could remove some stitches I had put in due to an accident a week prior, so that I could avoid having to return to the hospital to have it done. Danielle ensured they had the proper tools to do so and Shannon removed them for me, no issue! I would recommend Beauty and Wellness on Olive to all; my girlfriends, my family, my coworkers! I will definitely be returning. I'm a week out, and the results are amazing!

He often rescheduled my appointments to an earlier/later time without checking in with me in order to close gaps in his schedule or because something came up. I bought a "pack" of services and when he discontinued that service, I had to reach out multiple times for a refund and then didn't receive refund the full remaining amount of the pack. Overall, I would say that it's worth going for a one-off service but this is not a spa I would recommend having as your go-to for regular treatments.

WARNING: Skin by Ken is Misleading, Unsafe, and Unprofessional…read more Skin by Ken is not what it claims to be. I booked an appointment specifically because I was told by Ken he uses a Nordlys IPL, a top FDA-approved device. He later admitted his machine is not a Nordlys at all--just parts with the same voltage. This is misleading, dishonest, and raises serious safety concerns. The treatment space was unsanitary, with dirty towels and questionable cleanliness, which Ken dismissed by saying he's a "one-man operation." He promised a refund in writing, even texted me to "feel free to dispute the charge" for faster processing--but never issued it. I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. On top of that, he tried pressuring me into signing an NDA to silence me. Between the fake equipment, false promises, unsanitary environment, and shady business practices, I strongly advise anyone considering this place to go elsewhere. Your safety, money, and peace of mind are not worth it.
