Four stars because scheduling is sometimes difficult and getting through on the phone is nearly…read moreimpossible. All of this is made MUCH better with MyChart, though. Dr. McIntosh has been my primary care doctor for over a decade. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He has seen me through quite a few health issues and always pops through when I've been admitted to the hospital. We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers. I would send anyone I know to see him without reservation. *Read up on Celiac Disease, doc! The amount of misinformation from medical professionals on this is criminal and a huge disservice to those who have it. Effects from celiac damage can spill over into almost every other part of your body. Celiac is for life and a negative blood test/scope (after a positive one) means you're doing well GF. it does NOT mean Celiac went away and you can eat what you wish! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (which I shockingly have to give to almost every doctor I've seen.)

A few years ago I was in search of a great doctor but was having a hard time finding one... I…read morechecked out a couple that were okay, but the hunt continued until I found Dr. McIntosh. I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!

I was placed on a regimen of five protein drinks per day plus numerous drugs. About two weeks into the procedure I began to develop severe pains in my legs and my feet. I called the office every day, crying and complaining. I was told that this was a part of the process of developing strong muscles. I decided to stick it out. In February of 2014, my legs and feet were in full neuropathy mode. He told me that by April, I would have complete restoration of feeling in my extremities. By April, my situation was much worse. I was beginning to lose the ability to walk. It cost me $16,0000.00 to eliminate the harm this man did to me. Do not seek his services.

The pain got to the point that standing and sitting for any length of time was very uncomfortable. The pain I experienced never let up. Not even when laying done. After many doctor visits over many years all ending up being told it was ALL in my head or having procedures that relieved zero pain including a full hysterectomy. I started hours of researching once again. I came across Dr. Russell Imboden in St. Charles, Mo. I had visited his website several times over the years. I was looking at the stem cell therapy. Lucky me AND my daughter who had started working in his office eventually mentioned my pelvic pain to Him. His first response was I needed stem cell therapy. I was not convinced until after my first visit. I was in so much pain I had decided to to try one more procedure. I was ready and willing to just give up and live with the pelvic pain and adjust my life style before my visit with Dr. Imboden. He told me the stem cell therapy would relieve the pain and I would get my life back. He was extremely confident I'd be pain free. The day of the procedure I was very nervous and still not convinced it would relieve my pain. After the procedure I was still apprehensive if it would really work. THREE DAYS LATER: I started to notice I was feeling very little pelvic pain. Relief I hadn't felt in years. One week later there was no pain. One year later I still am PELVIC PAIN FREE!!! I continue to live a full active life style. Something I never thought would happen until speaking with Dr. Imboden. Life is good at 56!!!! Thanks to Dr. Imboden and his staff!!! I will also say the staff is amazing too!!! Thanks to ALL of you!!! One more thought: I'm a boater and have fallen 3 times on the same shoulder causing tears and a fracture to my shoulder. My first thought was stem cell therapy and no surgery. I could not lift my arm up at all. Within hours after injection I was moving my arm up over my head. No shoulder problem at all months later IT WORKS!!

I never would have considered CBD as an IV option before, but the results really surprised me and opened my mind to new possibilities. James Clinic also changed the way I think about supplements and how to support my lifestyle in a healthier way. I appreciated that they have someone on staff who can help with diet and explain which foods may support inflammation and overall wellness. One thing that really stood out to me was Dr. James herself. She's very straightforward and clearly cares about helping people improve their health. She also offers Monday night webinars, which I found to be informative and genuinely motivating without feeling over the top. Overall, the experience felt thoughtful, educational, and supportive.

The James Clinic has not been impressive. I'm sorry to have to say that. No one there seems to know what they're doing and people don't seem to be held accountable for anything. There's no sense of urgency for anything. Blood tests are administered then not reviewed. I'm told someone will be calling to schedule my next appointment and discuss meds but no one ever calls. I talk to so many different people all the time, no one is responsible. Everyone seems to be half assed working from home. I ask to know the price of products before they send it, but they just send it anyway and charge my credit card. The Elation AP is terrible. You can't track meds, appointments, messages or anything. The AP is pretty much useless. I never got a call from anyone for 7+ months until a lady that I talked to in the beginning finally started to call once a month. The wrong products are sent out and I have to return the product to their office myself. This happened over and over. People make promises then never follow through. I have to call and or email to follow up all the time. It feels like I'm an unpaid employee of The James Clinic. If there is some hidden value to the James Clinic I have not yet found it. The entire business is feeling more like a money making venture and I never got the impression that anyone there really cares. Just a lot of empty promises and apologies. I'm sure homeopathic things can help. I'm just very disillusioned with the James Clinic. They have taken a lot of money and not reciprocated with genuine care. I asked for my money back and never even got a call back.
