Strangely enough, there is also a ski gear outlet... With three hours free parking and a convenient bus service, Pittwater Place is a good place to get your essentials.

The Westfield Group was split in 2014 into a Australia/New Zealand portion (Centre group which owns this mall) and the Westfield Corporation, which owns many shopping centers in Europe and the US, including many that I've been to (Westfield Old Orchard, Westfield Century City, Westfield Topanga, and Westfield Culver City). All the buses go past from the Ryde area to the beaches. It is a clean and friendly place. It is busier during the morning and mid afternoon. Most shops close at 4.30pm so it doesn't stay open late.

While strolling around, noticed that there is a cinema on site which had a few arcade games (time crisis, racing games), a store where they carries snacks & beverages as well as a small "cafe". I also noticed a food court and where it had a range of takeaways/dining options ranging from western food to asian fast foods. Tried sushiya and it was delicious. There are quite a range of departmental stores here. Decided to make a visit to Target to get "Bobble" water bottle and realized that this target is much bigger in size and range to what the Parramatta one has to offer. Service was friendly too. Walked up and down the whole three levels to see what other things the stores carry and there are quite a few gifts stores around and some other electronics related stores. There are two kinds of escalators here - one of which pushcarts could be used or the normal escalator. Service was also considerably well at the stores I visited. You could find a range of vending machines or slot-in coins for toys machines here. There are also a few cafes where you could sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Do make a visit if you are around.

They have service kiosks scattered around the centre to help you locate stores. and while prices are pretty much the same everywhere else it is still good, especially the Kmart clearance items. Also if you are driving past then there is another McDonald's and KFC outside of the centre with a drive thru.

There are also a heap of ready made food outlets, Bread Top, Donut King and sushi, and also several cafes including a gozleme shop!!! (Which is also excellent) The food outlets have all opened in the last couple of months and there is a surprising range. There's also a $2 shop, nail salon, dentist, acupuncture place and Priceline. There is a Chinese grocer upstairs and I think the old Spotlight might still be there too. The reason the 5th star is missing from this review is the fruit n veg market. That place lacks a distinct standard of quality that Sydney Siders are used to, and frankly the fruit and veg there is appalling. I'm surprised it's survived and it really is the missing link in what would otherwise be the best shopping centre from Parra to Burwood - and it's quiet enough to always get a park (unlike the other 2 Westfields). The centre…read morewas purchased by the Stocklands Group in 2009 on the premise of massive renovations.. which are currently halfway there. And have been for over 8 months. The majority of the centre's businesses have closed, relocated or tried to make do in less than half of the space that was there before. Stocklands Belrose's current lineup features Woolworths, a butcher, a café, a bakery, a newsagent, a dry cleaner, a fish and chips shop, a post office, a travel agent and a pool shop. Not tooooo bad - most things that you need day to day are available there. But compared to its former self, Stocklands Belrose is suffering. Where's the Indian takeaway? The chicken shop? The beautician? The little homewares shop? The fruit shop? For God's sake, where is the bottle shop? Stocklands is not a shopping centre that many would go out of the way for. Many of its former clientele have left, going to other shopping centres in the area where they can get a bottle of wine for dinner, some fresh fruit or have a choice in the cup of coffee that they buy. Sadly, the smaller businesses have been victim to the "renovations" taking place at Stocklands Belrose; Woolworths is eternally busy and continues to enjoy the monopoly of the centre's business. Others, however, are not so lucky.
