This is a giant mall! At the pace I walk, it would take all day for me to see everything. It looks like it was built in phases over time because there are so many different design themes. It has more than 350 stores and services including grocers, bookshops, lots of coffee shops, clothing stores, home stores, shoe stores and much, much more. There are children's play areas, food courts, bakeries, and at least one dentist. Numerous public art installations and water features are found throughout. As entertainment, it's great for people watching. If you're shopping and can't find it here, it probably does not exist. read more

Fantastic mall for the Northern Beaches. It has everything you need from high end to dollar stores. Hairdressers, cinema, travel agents, multiple food courts, kids play areas, plus Coles and Woolies. Good amount of outdoor and undercover parking. Very accessible by bus and on a major corridor to and fro servicing the Northern beaches suburbs. read more

Warringah Mall is a very large shopping centre with many different shops. Whatever you are looking for you will find it at this shopping centre. There is the Department stores such as David Jones and Myer with the budget conscious stores as Target and the smaller chains. There is always a bargain to be found. One shop was closing down and they were selling large coloured glass bowls which will make beautiful salad bowls. I still can't understand the reasoning, buy three for $50 or one for $55. So I bought three. Just go to the Mall when it is sunny, as everyone will be at the local beaches and you'll be able to find a park. The beaches are beautiful in this area. We drove around for ages and then one car parking officer opened a fenced off area, so we were finally lucky. As this shopping centre is partly open to the weather there are areas that become quite wet and slippery. Unfortunately I saw a child go for a nasty slide this morning due to the slippery surfaces. Be prepared, don't wear thongs (shoe wear) or you could go "head over turkey". There is a good bus service outside the Mall. If you are in the area it is not a bad idea to go by bus. read more

This place is awesome... such a lovely shopping centre to shop in. Heaps of great cafes with artisan coffee and beautiful food. There is two fresh food precincts with specialists shops selling organic fruit, meat, fish, poultry, bread and veg... everything anyone would need. The fashion shops are great. It has all the brands as well as Myer, David Jones, Target, Big W, Best & Less, H&M and a huge Cotton on! JB Hifi, Anaconda,Super Cheap Auto and even a Bunnings is there. If you have kids they have 3 play areas.. or just drop them off at the Hoyts! Really impressed at this place. Oh.. and parking is easy.. I counted more than 5 car parks around the edge... I used Valet though and it was only $10.. such great value. read more

Am I the only one that gets lost in here? Maybe because it's kind of outdoors and village-y and doesn't have the cookie-cutter layout of a traditional Westfield, but this throws my senses completely out of whack. I couldn't find the shop I wanted, and then I couldn't find the car park I'd parked my wheels in. That's not strictly the mall's fault, though, probably more a reflection on my own errant wayfinding. Maybe I should invest in that echolocation thingy my friend the bat is always banging on about. He seems to go okay with it. But yes, there's lots of shops, and a distinctly norther beaches feel which is nice. I always feel like everyone looks at me funny because I'm a Bulldogs supporter and hate Manly. They couldn't possibly know though, could they? read more

It's a mall. In some ways it's like every other mall, with food courts, and shops full of stuff you don't need, and things that you definitely do need but that are at opposite ends, and grocery stores, and big chains, and a cinema. On my first few visits I found the layout very confusing, though. It's not on an orthogonal grid. There are half-levels. I used to have no idea how to get around. After about 6 visits I started to get it though. And it doesn't have any of the run-down, dirty corners of pure tat like some malls do. And it has a lot of outlying buildings connected in a shopping village-style layout that at least gives you an opportunity to escape the air-conditioned, artificially-lit interior. Which leads to the thing that's best about Warringah: it has large open-air sections. It's flooded with natural light and air and feels far less oppressive than the hermetically-sealed retail norm. read more

Good signage, awesome number of stores. Plenty of parking. This is billed as the largest mall in the Southern Hemisphere. But we took our 2 year old granddaughter through two children's clothing stores. Everything Grandmom showed her she said no to. Not a positive sign for the retailers they have in the mall. A large indoor/outdoor mall this place is a staple of the northern beaches. Easy to navigate layout with all the big boys i.e Myer, Djs, Coles, Woolworths, Target, Big W, Telstra ect. as well the mid size mains and everyone else in between. Never too packed and always adding new and fresh stores to the already existing bunch. Also with two food courts one big outdoor one and a smaller indoor one near woolworths everyone can find something to eat no matter what your tastes. read more

Warringah Mall is a large indoor/outdoor shopping centre on Sydney's Northern Beaches in the suburb of Brookvale, approximately 15 km from the CBD. Its major retailers are David Jones, Myer, Target, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Rebel Sport, JB HiFi, Dick Smith Powerhouse and Hoyts Cinema in addition to over 300 specialty stores. Warringah Mall first opened in 1963 and included 53 stores. Ten years later, the centre saw the opening of the Myer store, then known as Grace Brothers, along with 50 more speciality stores, followed by the opening of the Hoyts Twin Cinema Complex in the early 1980s. In the mid-1980s I can only remember the one Woolworths store with merry go-round at the front a little bit later a Target store was opened along with 20 speciality stores. Another expansion to the centre underwent construction in the late 1990s and was officially opened in December 1999, with approximately 90 stores, making this the largest expansion ever to open in Warringah Mall. This development included an additional food court, extra cinemas, another 60 speciality stores, followed by the opening of Dick Smith Electronics Powerhouse in 2000. Warringah Mall is now the third largest shopping centre by floorspace in New South Wales behind Westfield Parramatta and Westfield Bondi Junction. The latest David Jones refurbishment is the most exciting out of all the changes at the Mall because it finally brings international brands to the Northern Beaches such as Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade and Chloe. Apparently the largest outdoor shopping centre in the Souther Hemisphere, Warringah Mall is certainly large! Unlike so many commercial shopping centres, there are substantial outdoor areas so that you can escape, even if just for a second. The space itself is also quite large, and doesn't usually feel chokingly full till around the week before Christmas. All the major Australian retail players are well represented - you can visit David Jones, Myer, Target, Coles, Big W, Sportsgirl, Vodafone or Woolworths. Plenty of medium-sized members are there too, with Glassons, Dotti, Supre, Cotton On and Rivers also making appearances. A number of smaller, one-off shops also happily co-exist here. There is ample parking (except in the lead up to Christmas), and with three hours free, it's really not too bad. If you want to leave the car at home, there is also extensive public transport, both up and into the Peninsula, and towards the CBD. read more

My all time favourite place to shop Love the outdoor spaces, cafes, range of stores and especially the fountain area. It's like no other centre I've seen in Sydney. The choice of fashion stores is great - plenty to choose from. read more

A really large mall on the Northern Beaches. Everyone knows "The Mall". Huge range of shops and services, and ample parking. Very easy to get here by bus from the city or Chatswood too. Nice that some of the shops are outside which is a pleasant experience on a nice day. Can get busy on Saturdays. read more
