I had always planned to have a natural birth with no medical interventions (if possible), so I knew I wanted to work with a Doula. I knew that a Doula would make my experience better, but I had no idea HOW much better it would actually be. From the start Jenna made me feel comfortable, supported, and empowered. There were no"dumb questions" or concerns, even when my hormones had me acting and feeling crazy leading up to the birth. I cannot imagine (and I don't want to imagine) my birth experience without her! OK here comes the long labor and birth story... I started having pre-labor contractions and weird symptoms (I was barely 37 weeks along)- Jenna texted and checked in with me throughout the day and into the night. I woke up when my water broke at midnight, my husband called Jenna and she helped time my contractions until it was time to head to the hospital (which happened very quickly). Jenna must have left get house immediately because as soon as we checked in, she was there with a smile on her face and excited to help! I was happy to find out that the nurses knew her and were actually happy that she was there to assist with my labor and birth! Over the next 22 hours, Jenna encouraged me, supported my husband, helped me get into different positions, heated water bottles for my lower back pain (she brought her own heater for this!), tracked all vitals reported by the nurses (there was even a time that they double-checked my previous blood pressure with her), helped me to the bathroom, fielded questions from the grandparents. There were long periods of time that my husband and I would have been alone, so we were so thankful that Jenna was there. When it came time to push, she and one other nurse held my legs so my husband could hold my hand. When our little baby made his arrival, Jenna was taking pictures and video (I forgot that I asked her for this)- somehow she managed to only capture the beautiful moments, haha! She continued to check in with me the days after delivery and came to our home a couple weeks later. My baby is now two months old and she still checks in on how we are all doing. My main concerns for labor and birth were that I would feel out of control, and scared- with Jenna there I never felt that way. She made sure our birth experience was miraculous and beautiful! Within seconds, we noticed that he could easily move his neck and head. Over the next few weeks, nursing got easier and his sleep improved. Fast forward to my little one beginning to walk... (we continued seeing Dr Kristen on-and-off as needed throughout this time.) My son was an expert knee-crawler at 18 months old but would not walk for longer distances. He'd take some steps and drop to the floor to knee-crawl instead. Took him in for a routine adjustment and discussed this with Dr Kristen. She adjusted him with the actuator and we went home. That night, he stayed up late, standing in his crib, not wanting to sleep. The next day, our daycare provider said that he walked all day long. He's full-on running now! I've used her services for two pregnancies and in the aftermath of a major car accident, and I've only ever been pleased by the results! My children and I were in a major car accident in October 2018. I had a broken shoulder blade and cracked ribs, my eldest daughter (5 years old) had a fractured leg, and my 3-year-old and 5-month-old were each pretty shaken up. Kristin didn't hesitate, and has been helping us all recover from literally Day 2, when she visited our house on a weekend to see us in our emergency situation! While the adjustments since the accident haven't been nearly as painless as the ones I've had from her in the past, I can ALWAYS come away with major improvement in movement and muscle/alignment stress. She's made a huge difference in my children's recoveries, as well. If I ever walked away from an appointment and had to call back later because I was uncomfortable, she insisted I return free of charge to make it right. The first pregnancy with Kristin (second child), my son, was the definition of an unstable lie. He was also nearly 3 weeks past his due date, and still doing somersaults like he was practicing for the Olympics. Kristin was able to adjust his position to head-down, and she did some tweaking that allowed him to stay in the correct position until he was born a few days later. The second pregnancy was somewhat similar in that my daughter, although head-down, kept shifting sideways, and my false labor pains were periodically quite severe. She was also overdue by about 2 weeks. Kristin worked past her office's closing time to adjust me through several contractions and ease baby into a better position for delivery... I went into labor that night, and delivered the baby the next morning! As far as her techniques, they are painless and effective. Her bedside manner is kind and caring, but also very knowledgeable. She will usually recommend the non-invasive and natural methods first, and knows plenty of resources in the area. As an aside, the main office also has a play room beside the main waiting room, which includes a changing area as well - it's a great resource for moms with other littles!

I wish we had, because the reviews are bad for a reason.From January to September, I honestly have nothing good to say about my experience. From the beginning, I couldn't even get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Communication is all over the place. They'll call you, email you at different email addresses, and then you're also expected to constantly keep up with the portal for appointments and updates. The financial department was another issue. We worked with Maria Aguirre, she was rude.You have to constantly remind people that you paid your "balance". The receptionists were incompetent, and both the Fort Worth and Bedford locations were consistently dirty & the bathrooms were never stocked. Bedford office was always dirtier. Even the bathroom where I had to undress before my egg retrieval surgery was disgusting! Our IVF coordinator, Chrissy DeLeon, also seemed completely uninterested in helping us or making this process any easier. She argued with me about my balance. I had to send her a screenshot and email to prove to her before she wanted to answer any questions. After the egg retrieval, she was just not interested in Even telling me what's next. Then there was the actual IVF process. The birth control and hormones Made me physically ill. I had to keep reminding the doctor That I was so ill, I could barely function. We worked with Dr Robin Thomas. After one viable embryo out of 14 She asked us if we wanted to do it again and that I needed to take the CoQ10. I did take it. Our embryologist explained our results using medical terminology we didn't understand, and when we asked questions or asked for things to be explained more clearly, we still couldn't get clear answers. We retrieved 14 eggs and ended up with ONE viable embryo, with basically zero explanation as to why. After my egg retrieval, I was completely in the dark about what was supposed to happen next. Nobody walks you through the process or explains what your next appointment will be or what you should expect. You just sometimes get an email and are expected to figure it out. This entire experience was miserable. It was very obvious that we were just another number with a $ signs attached to our asses. I came into this because my tubes were tied. I didn't have a known fertility issue, I'm not overweight, and I'm 38. I understand IVF is never guaranteed, but when you're spending this amount of money, you should at least receive communication, explanations, &&& guidance, throughout the process. I feel robbed of my money and my time 9months! If I could go back to January, I would have read the reviews &&& the red flags from the start &&& chosen a different fertility clinic.
