During my pre pregnancy appts, they were friendly and even the times I was stressed and emotional they listened with compassion, even one time, offered to pray , and said would I mind?, which I didn't. I thought it was very sweet and I honestly did feel some relief knowing someone cared so much. When it came the appts I got to know all the midwives , and I liked that part too. A variety of personalities, and I looked forward to my appts. And seeing them. My labor was fast and since it was my first i felt unprepared- I barely made it to cleburne hospital/ bc my insurance wouldn't cover the birthing center, I had to have my son there. They were waiting on me when i arrived, and so sweet even tho I was loud and a little hysterical,( like I said , happened really fast). They were so soft spoken/ the additional nurses were amazing. My son was born 4 hours after my water broke/ healthy and I was up walking around and felt great immediately, they checked on me through the night, and in the morning another mid wife checked on me- Carla and hope . My post pregnancy appts they were very nice and during my 4 month one, I came in feel crummy and Shannon even noticed a nodule on my thyroid at my visit/ she was very thorough, I am now seeing a endocrinologist for them, thanks Shannon! She literally saved my life! I found out I have an autoimmune disease, and am now getting treatment. I wish these ladies the best , they are passionate about what they do, and sincere with trying to make you comfortable and feel welcome! Also, and I can't believe I'm typing this... had to get my prostate checked on my last visit and it was honestly the smoothest and most surprisingly pleasant prostate exam I've ever had. Their scheduling was horrific. Excellent tone and tenor.....but incompetent…read more First off, the earliest date they could get me in was in 2 weeks. With the ortho follow up a full week later, it would be 3 weeks until I could learn if I needed surgery. All the while burning sick leave and vacation at work. So I called scheduling and tried to find an earlier date. The scheduler said they had a spot in Ft Worth today at 2:15. It was now 9:30 am, that office is at least a 2 hour drive, I said heck yeah sign me up! The scheduler said they would send me a text with the address and confirmation. I left just before noon....not wanting to be late and waste their time. BUT, i had not received the text. So I called the number while I was on my way 817-289-2002. Spoke to another very nice person. I let her know I had not received the confirmation text like they said I would, so I wanted to call and confirm the appointment and location....after all it was a 2 hour drive...... The scheduler was perplexed why I did not get the text but... joyously confirmed my appointment was good to go! She also let me know my part to pay was also $222. I said ok and kept driving. I arrived at 2:00 for the 2:15 appointment. Again, not wanting to waste anyone's time. I go into the office and let the clerk know Im there for my 2:15 appointment. I could tell she wasn't finding anything, so I added, its really at 2:30 but I came in early for the paperwork. The clerk said 'sir your appointment isn't for today because we have nobody here who can do it .' You had an appointment for the 27th and then the 21st, but it is not today. They know we don't have anyone here on Fridays to do the GAD.... She then says 'Are you sure you called the right place?' I showed her the number I called, and she looked perplexed....and said well thats our scheduling number.. I call the scheduler while Im standing there at the window. She once again confirms my appointment is for today..... but needs to check on things and puts me on hold. The phone rings right inside the window to the girls I was talking to...... Lots of Umhmmm, Umhmm....Uhmmm. Then girl number 2 says Did you call our scheduler.....I said yes Im on hold with here now......She then says OH she just called and asked us to reschedule you....... Can you come back monday????? What in the shit show is going on at this place? Talk about amateur hour. Nevermind I will have been driving 4-5 hours (Friday afternoon traffic leaving ft worth yay) I'm going elsewhere.......You guys can have it.

My FMLA status prior to this clinic was for up to 5 times a month for illness and 5 times for Dr/ER visits, which was about to expire. This office agreed to those same times and added notes into the computer, noting that time length. I received the finished paperwork, which was for 1 day a month for illness and 1 day a month for Dr/ER visits. I called them and the manager was full of tihs because she said that's the maximum time they write for FMLA, without her knowing anything about my wife's ailments or medical history.. I believe that she thinks FMLA is paid time off, which is none of her business, and it's not. She just flat out lied and thinks everyone is stupid, and it didn't take long to realize that. She just made up policies and prices as she spoke. Very unprofessional and prejudice, in my opinion .They are definitely con artists and we will not be going back. Update: Went to another doctor and had my FMLA paperwork filled out correctly, no problems.
