Ended up in this hotel on a training course with some colleagues for a day. It's on the outskirts of the town, close to the motorway, so I would say it's handy enough to get to if you're passing through Banbridge. It's a small family run hotel, with a dozen or so rooms, and a few small conference rooms, of which we were using one of for the day. Although it was quite small for our needs, it was pleasant and well heated, and the staff were very helpful bringing in tea, coffee, and scones and so forth as we needed it. The food at lunchtime was really nice too - with an extensive menu to choose from, which I thought was a nice touch considering we were delegates on a course who were used to getting a choice of maybe two items for lunch, typically. Although the downside was that because so many different things were ordered, it did take a while for the food to arrive and different dishes had quite a gap of time between them, so some people were on thier desserts by the time others were just starting thier main courses, which was a little disappointing. I had the fish and chips and it was very very good - so that did kind of make up for it. read more
