If you are far enough along as I was when getting done and baby is active you might get a show of smiles, winks, yawns and hand/foot movements. They offer various picture packages that vary in pricing, so be prepared to pay for what you can afford (out of pocket, not insurance covered). I opted for a package that came with a Teddy Bear that had the sound of my babies heartbeat inside. Super Sweet and nice memory as I waited for baby to arrive. Also fun to share with baby when having Mommy/Daddy and me time, and eventually to give the child when old enough. The technician was professional and quickly positioned us for the experience, keeping all neat, clean. She even pointed out some of the fun, but you will see it so much more clearly than your regular doctor office. I left several messages and finally got a call 2 weeks later. Now is the second time I am waiting for the doctor (or nurse) to call me back and haven't been able to do this for 4 days. 4 days to get a call back from a doctor or nurse? I've called every single day. The nurse called me back from a unlisted number, left a message and that was it. crickets. And when I call the front desk, although nice, they say "That's odd, we usually respond sooner than that." This is my second such experience, so I don't believe that. I also started coming to this office soon after it opened and do remember the staff problems before... Although they move slowly, I believe the interaction has gotten better by the staff. Waiting times have gotten longer. I spend a lot of time in the waiting room and in the patient room waiting to see the doctor. With the problems I describe unfortunately I haven't been able to find a better option in the area. But as soon as I do, i'm out. O, almost forgot, although they have a nice online portal, messaging doctors on site is futile. Crickets.

Communication and the booking process was super easy and organized on her website. She always responded in a timely manner. She addressed all my questions and concerns. The design team that she works with is amazing and brought my vision for the balloon backdrop to life. She works with her partner/husband Ed who was also super nice and helpful; he came down to help us with our belongings when we got to the studio. The studio was so clean and airy looking; it was the perfect spot for photos with natural lighting. Melissa really showed her expertise and comfort level in taking wonder shots of our son and of us. She was able to direct us on how and where to pose and also adjust things like fixing my hair or adjusting my legs/heels so that they would not look awkward (not all photographers will do this, this comes with experience). We never felt rushed and Melissa was patient with our son. We had some suggestions after we got the edited pictures back and Melissa never made us feel bad about doing the editing over again until we were satisfied. This wonderful experience made us super happy with choosing her as our son's First Birthday Photographer and hopefully other special occasions in the future.
