I revamped my entire…read moreyard and have gotten tons of compliments; even people stopping their car in the street to run up the driveway and ask who did the installation. I moved into my house 2 years ago, and some previous owners were an older couple who loved to garden. There were huge flower beds all over the yard with lots of things in there. Before they sold, however, these beds were unattended and started to go crazy with growth and weeds, as did the grass around it. With a new baby on the way for me, there was no way I could manage keeping up everything, and I wanted it handled right, so I called Josh and had him come out to take a look. Josh talked over my goals for a whole-yard revamp and combined my asks with his extensive experience to come up with a plan on how to remove the beds, re-grade some of the yard, and install extra drainage to make everything look good. Although 2020 and 2021 were not the best times for materials (in many industries, including landscaping) which delayed the project a while, Josh kept us up to date with his progress until his team was ready to install. The install went smoothly over the course of a few days, and Josh was there to help with guidance on watering to keep everything growing correctly. He stopped by every few days to check on things (although he didn't need to) and help me adjust watering times and sprinkler placement. Even now, weeks after the installation, he's still super responsive to my questions and has helped me keep everything looking good through the summer. If you want a landscaping project done right with a company that cares about long-term success for your yard, Dreamscapes is the way to go. I really can't recommend them enough.

We had Waterworks install a full irrigation system a couple of months after our new house was…read morefinished. We selected them because their price was in line with other quotes and because their approach they assured us would result in minimal damage to our fairly new bermuda grass. Unfortunately much went wrong here: they were a week late starting the project; it took them 3 days longer than they said it would; and they absolutely destroyed our grass. Shredded it with huge scars, uneven ground, pipes still sticking out of the ground. I insisted they come back and at least try to smooth out the bare ground and add topsoil so the grass could begin to heal. It has yet to fully recover. In operation Ed insisted multiple times that we did not need a booster pump to boost our low water pressure. Said he wanted to save us $2K. He said he could handle it with his system. As a result we have 18 zones (should have been covered with way less), and the zones farthest from the valves barely put out any water. So i also have to run the system way longer each time than I should have to. A new irrigation maintenance provider came in and said we absolutely needed a pump to make the system work properly and were shocked at how poorly the heads and drip lines were buried.
