Casey saved the day!…read more It's been hot - in the 90s - and our AC just stopped blowing cold air. Cleaned out things as best as we could...no dice. Called on Thursday morning and were scheduled for Friday afternoon BUT Casey got done with another appointment early and asked if he could come now. Same day service...within a few hours of calling. 100% recommend!

To our recollection we have never posted a negative review, but our experience with Blue Best…read morewarrants one. We met with Blue Best late in 2024 to discuss our concern with air temps in our house, specifically temps in our living room and kitchen, which have high ceilings and southern exposure and become uncomfortably hot in summer. We were very clear about our concern, and the salesperson spent hours assessing our home and assured us his proposed system would solve the problem. We accepted the ~$14,000 bid to install a heat pump solution based on that assurance. By summer 2025, the living room and kitchen were still too hot on most sunny days. Despite many service visits and repeated adjustments (baffles, registers, fan speeds, etc.), the issue was never resolved. Blue Best ultimately stated the system was operating as designed and implied the problem was with our home, not their installation.  In our opinion, Blue Best is very good at selling a solution, but not so good at ensuring that solution meets what the customer needs. Two independent HVAC contractors opined: -Our ductwork is in good condition. -The thermostat, furnace, and compressor Blue Best installed were not properly matched. -Basic industry-standard load calculations (e.g., Manual J) were apparently not done, which would have shown the system was undersized for our home's layout, windows, and sun exposure. Blue Best has declined to remove the system or refund our payment, instead relying on fine print in the contract. We are now pursuing legal options. We have since spent ~$12,000 on a mini-split system from another contractor, which works as intended. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Blue Best and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

because the a/c wasn't working at house. We have used Utahs Best Home Pros before with no issues…read more Teasha looked into our situation & let me know there's no power going to unit. Teasha is hvac not an electrician however she could get someone to come out for 260.00 to 777.00 (?) to access what's going on. Mark Cemensky arrived and stated there's no power to unit. He checked the breaker box & advised me that with 3 major appliances, the 100 amp box is basically maxed out. The recommendation is to upgrade to 200 amp box inside, new box outside, wire & permit for 10158.00 & that would get the a/c working today as it needs a 2 pull & there isn't one available. I tried reaching the homeowner with no avail. The homeowner is out of town & me not understanding what's going on. I asked Mark if this is pretty regulated or do I need to start calling around to see if I can save $. Mark replied it's pretty regulated. (Must be a master electrician to do this job) Mark could get a/c up & running today however, he's leaving tomorrow afternoon to go out of town for the weekend. Feeling out of options - I ended up signing to have work done. It took over a week to receive anything with pricing & unfortunately non specific. Meanwhile, the homeowner needs details. Needless to say, we won't be completing the job. 4200.00 for new 200 amp box & 2 breakers my cost from Lowes is 250.00 best I can tell. Bottom line - don't rush - get 3 estimates

FOLLOW UP REVIEW ON 10/25/19! Ben at Prestige Plumbing…read morealways does an absolutely fantastic job - from explaining how everything works, to the changes being made, as well as how all the equipment and repairs function together. Ben recently did a wonderful job with installing a new water softener system into my residence - and not only explained how all the equipment worked, but he also made sure that it was properly set up and ready to function immediately by ensuring that the new setup had been properly initiated. It is truly a pleasure having someone of Ben's caliber and expertise to work with. Both Ben, as well as Prestige Plumbing, are highly recommended! ORIGINAL REVIEW: If anyone is looking for a dependable and fair plumbing company, I would highly recommend Prestige Plumbing! After calling and texting a different plumber reand not hearing back from them for over a week - I contacted Prestige Plumbing instead to have someone look at a leaky shower faucet. The dispatcher (I believe Brittany was her name?) answered promptly, was very helpful, and was able to get me on the schedule within two business days. The dispatched plumber Ben then showed up on time, as promised, on the scheduled day, and was extremely helpful in explaining how things worked. He then proceeded to repair the issue in a timely manner, all for a fair price. Thus, I would have no hesitations or qualms with recommending this company to anyone looking for any plumbing work. Give them a call, you won't be sorry!

Dustin came out to get our evaporative cooler set up for summer. He was incredibly friendly,…read morehelpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. When we turned on the water to the cooler we discovered the water line was cracked and leaking, but Dustin worked with me to find a solution to make sure we got the cooler up and running same day, despite not having the length of line he needed. I really appreciated Dustin's willingness and enthusiasm to provide a workable solution for us. So many technicians would just shrug and suggest calling the office to schedule another time to address this issue or begrudgingly consider alternate approaches but Dustin went above and beyond to provide excellent customer customer service as if he owned the company himself, something I was pleasantly surprised to experience with a company as large as this. I will definitely be using My Buddy The Plumber again for all of my future plumbing and HVAC needs and recommend you to do the same! You know a company is doing something right when the employees are as exceptional as Dustin!
