I had volunteered thru the Court for a HRA "Step Program" I was not aware this program is a set up, and clearly for failure. I had an appointment for a follow up in regards to a License I was not aware I had to meet with a alledge career advisor, stated their was alledgelly miscommunication, She also stated to me that she had to report to the judge, making threats. I did not concent to any "free" or volunteer time, specially 120 hours a month, only to just sit around on a program that's very poor and not consistant with veterans needs, career opportunities, training or assistance. This Program is more geared towards Welfare recipient and failure. I was not aware that it's not a HRA direct program,This was my first time at this location its located right next Public Assistance Office a bad area, I was not aware AW is not part of HRA and was very confused that this are the individuals in charge of alledgelly helping in getting into a job training program, got a rude awakening since I already have the background and history of employment. I was very discouraged, the female alledge that I have to do 120 hours a month (No pay) the career adviser / Corporate Representative Ms. Spears MA was very quick to state to me of reporting negatively to the support Magistrate for FC, a program that I had volunteer to attend in good faith to ratified arrears base of erroneous math by said Magistrate, even thought I already and previously is actively working with Veterans specialized organizations assisting me in finding employment including AW. I did not require any personal care. They wound up sitting on the floor propped up against the wall most of the time on their cell phones. Although this was always represented as a temporary job I was charged $5000 for a permanent job which my son unknowingly paid. I discovered shortly before I let them go that I was missing some brand new cleaning supplies as well as some brand new towels. Needless to say neither one of them knew anything about them. After they were gone and I got back to normal household routine I noticed how many other things were missing. Household supplies, and a lot of clothing. One or both were adept at removing items from a box which was closed and tied with ribbon. They took the items and replaced the ribbons to make it look as though they were never opened. One of the items is a $500.00 dress which I bought for my granddaughter. I am also missing a gold watch which my parents gave me when I graduated from college. I am still finding the occasional item which is missing. There are quite a few, and there will be more. I am sure they made the same mistake a lot of people make, especially "caregivers" by assuming that senior citizens have some degree of dementia and they will never notice. I do not have dementia and I noticed! Meanwhile, the owner of the agency will not return the payment he should never have gotten ( he was paid other amounts for the service) and said business is bad!
