I was highly reccommended to go here for installation of hair extensions. I paid about 800 for my hair and I was going to be charged $2 a strand for install. I understand hair extension is expensive. My father passed away and I messaged Janine and she said aorry but she was still going to charge me $150 of cancellation fee. After I spent $800 in hair in this hard time for my family and I she had no heart but to worry about charging me $150. I was willing to go back after all this was over but how can I when she had no sympathy for my fathers passing? read more

I was seeing a previous stylist for a long time, only to learn that she had made a mess of my hair! Luckily, I found Elishia. She is truly a miracle worker. My hair was damaged and ugly. She colored it with the perfect products. My hair felt healthier than ever after receiving her services. She nailed my A cut, which I know most stylists tend to muck up. I have actually had strangers stop me at the store, parking lots, etc and ask if they can take pictures of my hair and asking who does it (creepy, I know). I was so pleased with her services that I have since referred many other people to her and everyone is very satisfied. I recommend Elishia L to everyone. If you're looking for the best, look no further. read more

I've never felt so stressed and tense at a hair salon before. The owner doesn't allow kids on the floor, so every time my daughter would come and ask me for a snack or to open her juice she would go over and make a scene about it with the stylist. So annoying. And to top it off my ombre I had done looked bad, really bad. The colors didn't look blended, you could see a straight line across from dark brown to brassy/orange! Horrible!! I will never go there again, specially with that owner there. So disrespectful. And not enough experience on both sides! Went back to a solid color I had no choice. I went somewhere else of course. I suggested they put a big noticeable sign instead of the little one they have hidden with small letters about having kids there. Oh and my kid was not running or jumping. She was very good, that's what got to me the most, oh yeah and she went with me cause she was also getting a hair cut. read more

I'd give them a zero if if were possible. I Went today looking to talk to someone But was completely ignored. Can't say one on saw me because a girl dressed in pink and colorful tights who worked there as a stylist walked to the front and greeted her Client Didn't acknowledge me at all. Stood there like an idiot for another 30 secs thinking maybe she'll say something but nope she draped her client and started a conversation with her. read more

I love this salon!!!! I think Cinamon is the best stylist! She keeps my hair healthy and makes it beautiful. This salon is clean and the stylists have been courteous and professional. It's not loud. I think the color scheme is actually tranquil. read more

One year after the total catastrophe at Bello Capelli Salon and I am happy to say that I have found THE best salon in Riverside. It took me almost six months to bring myself to try out a new stylist after the shocking botch job to my hair thanks to Elishia at Bello Capelli. Equally as shocking and even more disappointing was the salon owner's ridiculous response. It was a nightmare that I occasionally think about to this very day. Celina at Ilo Salon is probably the most talented hair artist that I have ever met. The salon is small and sophisticated and has a very relaxed and positive vibe. Celina is upbeat, creative, and has talent beyond her years. The horrible experience at Bello Capelli just helped me to appreciate Celina and Ilo all the more. read more

I had a good experience here. I was able to book a last-minute appointment on a Saturday with Alicia (I think that was her name). I didn't really know what I wanted so she took the time to ask lots of questions. We decided on some highlights and a much shorter 'do, and I am so thrilled with the results! read more

I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair. I used to have it bleached out and the roots touched up every month. Cheree D. is my stylist and she is just amazing!! She always knows exactly what I'm talking about when I ask for a certain style. She also made temporary extensions and styled my hair for my wedding. It made me feel beautiful!! She waxes my brows and isn't rough like at other places. The prices are extremely reasonable with her and the salon is small but always kept really clean and the bathroom always has a nice smell. This stylist treats you right! Highly recommend! read more

I decided on this place after looking at their website and seeing the reviews this salon received. I called and asked for a consultation and booked an appointment with one of the stylists. I came in and was greeted warmly. I had to wait a few minutes but in that time I was able to refresh myself with some water. I met with my stylist who was very friendly and welcoming. I do not get my hair done often and finding a stylist I can be comfortable with is a huge plus. I came in to get black taken out of my hair and get an ombre look. My stylist did an amazing job. I definitely got my money's worth. I recommend calling and getting a consultation to be able to meet with a potential stylist. All in all, a great experience. read more

As soon as I walked in they said my "kid" was not allowed in the salon but I could leave her in the lobby area alone "this time". They were rude in their approach, did not tell me this when I made my appointment and upset my daughter. read more

My stylist, Olivia, moved to this salon a little while ago and it is very nice. I very much prefer it to the ones she has worked at in the past. I haven't been to any of the other stylists but they all seem happy and very good with their clients and the business is clean and decorated nicely. read more

I've gotten my hair done by cheree twice already and she really does an amazing job. Great customer service too! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

I'm so happy to have found this place 3 months ago! I had boring Ole faded black hair and wanted a new look. Made a last minute appointment with Elishia an hour after i called. I got to the salon and was greeted with a smile and went immediate to the chair. Elishia was very patient with me going over what i wanted, even though i really didn't know what i wanted. We decided to do an ombre with low lights throughout. Hair came out great! I left a very happy customer. 3 months later; today, i called last minute again to make an appointment with Elishia and had no problem. Went in and was immediately greeted and within minutes got a glass of wine which was much needed! Explained what i wanted and again hair came out exceptional! Thanks so much Elishia! read more

This place is the only place I trust with my hair! I have really long hair and when i need a trim a trim is what i get here! not my hair chopped in half!! The price is perfect and the saying is true "you get for what you pay for" love it here I would recommend it to anyone! read more

After reading multiple yelp reviews I decided to give Bello Capelli a call to get my hair styled for a wedding, same day. Janine answered and was very pleasant and professional. She got me in the same day with Erin, and even called me back at work to confirm my appointment and let me know there may be a small wait when I arrived (which there was not) When I arrived at the salon Erin greeted me right away and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She styled my hair and after re-curling my stubborn sections a couple of times it looked GREAT and stayed ALL night through the wedding. Erin is awesome! She was very patient and friendly. Even text me to remind me of my appointment Friday and was available to answer my questions about lightening my hair. I had a fantastic experience and am looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I was a client at Bello Capelli. I have never and will never recommend it to anyone. Not one person besides my stylist ever greeted me, or spoke one word to me while I was there. The owner and her daughters were very clique-ish and I felt uncomfortable each time I was there. I also need to mention that having no heat in the salon made early day appointments brutal. read more

BEWARE! I went in two weeks ago, I believe it was Thursday May 12th, I wanted blonde hair, I am a natural brunette and I had my natural hair color the day I went in. I told Elishia that I wanted all blonde hair but she talked me into getting highlights so I ended up doing that. I did not like how it turned out but I paid the $160 and made an appointment with her for the week after to get it fully blonde which is what I had originally asked for. Elishia told me that she would do a full weave of heavy blonde highlights as to not put more bleach over the already blonde highlights. When I got to Bello Capelli, she was able to convince me to basically just put bleach all over my head to lighten my hair completely. She proceeded to bleach my entire head twice the same day. My hair came out white with some brassy low lights. So I paid her and did not say anything about it because I am a pretty reserved person and I do not like confrontation, but I can tell you I never once asked for white hair. I wanted a honey blonde a more natural looking blonde. The days following I lost a lot of hair and my scalp completely peeled. My head was so itchy and red it was unbearable. I messaged Elishia about a refund two days ago since my head was still peeling and my hair is now dry and breaking, but she said that they do not offer refunds only the chance to go a THIRD time so they can "fix it" I spend $400 so that they could leave me with dry brassy white hair I NEVER asked for. I do not trust going back there again so I am very upset that they did not even offer some of the money I paid not even for my peeling scalp. I am pretty sure it was just easier to drench my head in bleach than to do an entire head of highlights. If you want someone that just wants a quick $400 with no regards to how you want your hair to turn out or the health of your hair, then go ahead go to Bello Capelli. read more

Words cannot describe how much I love this salon! I have been going here for a while now and always left happy. My most recent visit was with Cherie and she took care of me and all my girls for my wedding! They gave outstanding customer service to me and my girls, not only that as well as the photographer and videographer crew that followed us around. Cherie helped me to design the hair of my dreams for my wedding which I was planning to put up but till have not recieved my pictures yet, so I will post them soon! All of my bridesmaides hair styles where perfect! Everything was perfect and everyone loved the way everything came out! I thank them for making my special day amazing! The ladies here really went out of there way to make sure I was happy and genuinely care about thier customers! The salon has a strong family feel that I love! I've been coming here for years to see Cheree. I wouldn't go anywhere else! She does a great job, even though I'm a demanding customer. I started as a platinum blonde, have gone back dark, back to light so many times and my hair (which is very fine and fragile) is always very well taken care of and healthy. I get very consistent results with her work! Thanks Cheree! :-) read more

I emailed the owner, Janine about Gray Blending (a term I made up in my head) my colored, waist-length hair. I didn't want a tacky, gray line of roots and demarcation growing out and had no intention of shaving my head to keep it from happening. I was worried about what underneath was going to look like (I have to wear my hair up for work) as well as damage to all this hair. Janine got back to me the same day and I made an appointment. I saw Janine for a long appointment. She began by reassuring me about color, damage etc and was very positive. After three or so hours (and a seriously-needed, medicinal glass of wine), my hair was done and A M A Z I N G ! We were BOTH so happy with my hair, we ran to the parking lot (for the sun) to take pics (wish I knew how to post pics here). I have had SO many compliments and am thrilled beyond words I'm no longer coloring my hair every two weeks. Sure, it was expensive, but no more than anywhere else, and this woman knows what's she's doing. I can't recommend her highly enough. I am a picky, 50+ year old chick who knows what she wants (and some might say, not easily pleased) and Janine is a pro. BRAVO, GIRL and THANK YOU! read more

I have been going to this salon for over a year now. The people are very friendly and call me by my name. Janine the owner is a sweetheart and she has very high standards for her customer service. My stylist Olivia has been mentioned in Inland magazines for her absolutely excellent work. I am always asked if I want a cup of coffee and there are always plenty of magazines to keep me entertained. I never have to wait and the place is spotless clean. I highly recommend this salon for anyone seeking a professional hair style and a place where they want to feel welcomed and pampered. The products they use are of high quality and everyone is cheerful and kind. I go to the salon every week for my blow dry and style so I know am highly qualified to give feedback regarding this place. My visits are not random, they are weekly and the service is always consistent in its excellence and quality. read more
