The long sleeves are $33.00 and short sleeves are $25.00 which are good buys. There are two colors for the long sleeves (grey and black). The short sleeves also have many colors to choose from. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and the woman was very helpful. What I liked about this place is that they asked if you need any assistance. If you don't need it, they keep their distance and let you enjoy your shopping. Besides the shirts, they carry blouses, jeans, accessories, coats, jackets, bottoms, leggings, sweaters, etc. Their outfits are very unique and reasonable in pricing. Vintage Marketplace whisks shoppers off on an adventure as they walk through the doors. Each area is categorized by color: blues to the right, browns and whites straight ahead, violets in the back of the store. Open doorways weave in and out of the dividing wall, allowing customers to float freely from continent to continent... er... section to section. Beautiful, plush scarves caught my eye, as well as some of the old writing table decorations. One room in the back was filled with an assortment of accessories, like jewelry, hair barrettes, and hats. Incredibly well organized, this shop is like strolling through a fashion museum. Prices were a little higher than expected, and although there were two salesladies in the store, neither of them acknowledged that I was there. That bumped Vintage Marketplace down to three stars. I'd still stop back for a browse though. The window display changes frequently (and, in my opinion, is the most elaborate in Hyde Park), so something new will likely draw me in again.

Downtown Girl carries all sorts of accessories for the feminine urbanite: from Fleur-de-Lis necklaces to soft, furry scarves, bright handbags, and intricate jewelery. If you're looking for a statement fashion piece, you will find it here. Everything sold in Downtown Girl is hand-selected by Ute. You'll definitely be getting a one-of-a-kind accessory and for a very reasonable price. I purchased several glass nailfiles as gifts for my best girlfriends. But oh my gosh, they have some to-die-for knits here! Do you ever find yourself watching a well-styled movie or TV show and you're thinking, "that's the outfit I want! It's so effortless and chic." I highly recommend coming here for the FC. The inventory here includes styles suitable mostly for the 18-25 year old set, but I did find some things I would consider more age-appropriate for myself as well. The boutique was having a 15% off entire inventory promotion when I was there, but other than that, everything mostly goes for MSRP. They do have a few sale racks in the front where everything is $30. I highly recommend sifting through these racks as there were some nice garments hidden between the oddly-sized, oddly-patterned cast offs.
