It really is quite shocking to see all the positive reviews on Myrna as my husband and I truly…read moreregret hiring her as our full service wedding planner for our wedding on November 2019. In fact, like many other bride-to-be's, the positive reviews are what initially led us to her. Initially, we felt quite confident in her ability to plan our 300-guest wedding as she is great at verbally selling her services and expertise. Over time, her started becoming clear including her lack of attention to detail, her lack of initiative and her lack of ability to adapt. In the wedding planning process, we constantly had to remind her about previous conversations and details (that were already discussed). We constantly had to remind her that we had a budget and that we needed to make an effort to negotiate prices. We often had to ask for more vendor options, or additional quotes (she has her preferred vendors, and does not recommend anyone outside). She often did not contact us or communicate with us unless we reached out to her. How are we supposed to know what to do or what to ask for? That is precisely what wedding planners are for. She has a very laissez-faire attitude which is quite surprising for a wedding planner. The groom and I felt as though we had no other option but to try and micromanage her because we didn't want her to forget or miss details which would result in things not being accounted for. I found myself often revisiting wedding planning websites, checklists and guides hoping to have what I needed (to essentially plan my own wedding) because I did not feel like I was getting support from her. We really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would pull through for us on the actual wedding day (as she promised us that she would) and I continued to be optimistic for the sake of peace of mind. On the days leading up to the wedding itself (when her involvement was absolutely crucial), we started realizing the effects of her sloppy organizational skills as things were falling apart. For example, we did not even have our designed wedding cake on our wedding day! (Luckily, the venue happened to have a cake in the back that they quickly brought into our ballroom for us to cut). For most of the day, she was missing in action and the groom and I had to scramble to answer questions from the church coordinator, DJ, etc as she was nowhere to be found. We spent so much time arranging a day-of-timeline and a detailed outline of our evening reception. Interestingly enough, the only things that went AS planned during the evening reception were from the vendors that we found on our own (not through her). She also left early from the reception and if she actually stayed, she would've realized that as we neared the activities at the end of the reception, the DJ went straight into the final dancing without giving us an opportunity to say a thank you speech. We didn't even get a chance to thank our guests for coming! Many vendors expressed their concerns and frustration to us regarding her presence or lack thereof on the day of the event. I normally am not one to write reviews, in fact this is the first review I have ever written on a product or service that was provided to me. I genuinely felt let down and I am also not someone that has very high expectations or is unreasonable. But for any bride, this is supposed to be the biggest day of their life. To be completely honest, I was deliberating whether or not to leave a review. Then I thought about other brides who may be in the midst of planning their weddings and who might land on her company "It's Your Party Events" and then I thought to myself that if I could save a fellow bride from an absolutely disappointing day, of course I would. I owe it to them and to my conscience. Perhaps they may see this review and reconsider. Nearly four months later, I still think about how much better the day could have been if we had the help of a true wedding planner by our side. Feel free to contact me if you want more details.

Well, I broke my wrist and was unable to do so. A day and half before the party I found Dream Ark via an internet search. I sent an email inquiry and was immediately contacted by Roza. The day of the party Roza and her partner arrived 4 hours before party time and installed the most stunning balloon decorations and backdrop. After the party they came back and collected everything. They are some of the kindest, most fun people, and at our wedding every single guest who interacted with them absolutely loved them. Throughout the entire planning process, they were consistently kind, responsive, and so easy to work with, which made everything that much smoother. The buggy they bring is the cutest thing ever and added such a unique, charming touch to our wedding. We especially loved it since it's from Italy--where we got engaged--which made it feel even more special and meaningful. They also truly went above and beyond--bringing me drinks to the bridal suite before the ceremony and making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy the day. Throughout their time at our venue, they were constantly moving through the crowd, meeting family members, members of the wedding party, and guests with drinks in hand, which everyone genuinely appreciated and loved. And the drinks--truly to die for!! We had her specialty lavender drink, a strawberry basil drink, and a blood orange mule, and they were all incredible. I'm already trying to come up with another excuse to throw a party just so I can hire them again--they are THAT good! Everything about Bee-Ella Fizz is perfection, and we cannot recommend having them at your wedding or event enough.

They even brought out a new mobile drink box in conjunction with their cart which was perfect for an area that couldn't accomadate a lot of space. The party packages were reasonably priced, and communication leading up to the event was clear and helpful. On the day of the party, we were only allowed to arrive 15 minutes before our scheduled start time, but the staff had a team ready to help carry everything from our car, which made setup much easier and was greatly appreciated. The party itself was a lot of fun, and all of our guests, especially the birthday girls, had an amazing time. My only criticism is that the ending felt a bit rushed. I completely understand that parties have a set timeframe and that schedules need to be maintained, but cleanup started before the kids had even finished eating. Floors were being mopped while we were still saying goodbye to our guests, which made it feel like we were being ushered out before the celebration had fully wrapped up. That said, I still think it was well worth the price. One of the biggest perks is that you're allowed to bring in your own food and drinks. There are several restaurants in the same plaza, and we ordered from Jet's Pizza, which offered a discount when we mentioned we were having a party at Rock N Tiara. Overall, despite feeling a little rushed at the end, it was a fun, well-organized party experience.

Younique Events did an absolute fantastic job all year long helping me in our wedding planning process. Meredith took my phone calls regarding advice for the reception process. Meredith helped keep everything organized including inventory lists and checking the inventory to make sure shipments arrived safe and sound. She answered emails always within 24 hours and almost always answered the phone the first time i called regarding a situation. Younique events is very accessible to their clients and they make you feel like a priority. Meredith did a wonderful job negotiating with vendors and the hotels we blocked rooms with. There were two replies from us stating that we don't do trade-outs, and that the videos and stage time is reserved for our highest paying member sponsors. He then started to email my members that he was a sponsor for the event and trying to sell his services. My members forwarded those to me, and the emails were quite obnoxious and desperate. We had not a signed a contract with him yet and then I had to damage control to let our members know that he was not a member and not a sponsor.
