It was as simple as a feeling I got and I'm glad I trusted my intuition on this. Fast forward 4 years, and I can solidly say it was a great decision for my family. The environment not only provides a safe place for my children to learn, but there is so much love given to them. It's not easy being a working parent, but it makes it easier when your missing your kid the most to know that he/she is with teachers who generously give their hearts to the little people they have chosen to spend their days with. The staff is kind and professional, yet down to earth and understands our needs/wants as parents. All of the being said, what really makes this place amazing is the families. Our children have made life long friends and so have we. Through religious and non-religious based socialization, a solid community has been formed that is so welcoming to everyone. There are events all the time that allow the kids and adults to spend quality time together and have fun. Beware: if you think you'll just pick up and drop off your kid(s) everyday and be on your way, you're wrong. There's a good chance you'll end up standing in the parking lot and having a conversation with another parent/friend at least once a week. Our intake was with Monica and after what happened at the prior school I was so terrified for my son to go to school again but Monica put all my fears at ease. Monica is by far the most amazing director who handles situations immediately with such professionalism. Then Natalie who greets you in the morning for drop off is by far the most kind, loving person. You can tell the both of them truly love what they do and care for the students like they are there children. I honestly couldn't recommend a early child hood daycare anymore then this one. I'm so grateful we found this place and for Monica's amazing child knowledge. She's helped me more than just being my sons director at his school but with developmental stuff as well. They don't have the words to express what they want to say, so they use their hands, feet or mouth to get across what they want to say. Maybe the child who but did it because your child would not leave this child alone or was taking toys away from the child or a million other things that can happen. Your child may be the one who is aggravating the other children. The director snd the teacher are doing all they can, I am sure. I didn't look at the date of your post but I just wanted you to know things like this happen all the time. And it's not because the teacher or the director doesn't care, because they do. But unless your child has someone follow him all day, there's no way to stop it. Perhaps they could let the child go that bit, but that's not the way to handle it. I'm sure they are/did do everything they can. Maybe get a nanny, that's the only way to stop other children from doing what toddlers do. He started here when he was just 13 months old, and now he's almost five and currently attending the VPK program. Watching his growth over the years has been amazing, and I am completely confident that he will be more than ready for kindergarten this fall. Every child is made to feel special and supported, and the environment genuinely feels like a family rather than just a daycare. And it shows, my daughter hugs her teachers and director before she leaves the school for the day. 2. Children are tought kindness, inclusivity and respect here. 3. VPK kids still have an option for a nap after lunch, which was great for my child. 4. The school makes holidays feel very special, always wonderful potluck parties with kids and their families. Nice kids concerts, tons of wonderful memories. 5. Beautiful playground in the middle of Boca. 6. We had awesome VPK ceremony ( thanks to the hard work of teachers)! My child still talks about it. 7.
