I went in looking for a new range. I had seen one online in the clearance section and thought would be perfect. We were greeted by terry who was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately he told me the range I was looking for had been sold. He showed me similar ranges in about the same price range and gave me a discount on the one I chose to bring it closer to the one I had initially come to see. It was delivered and installed within 3 days (I bought on Friday and it was delivered on Monday). The delivery guys were awesome. Showed me how to operate and tested to be sure it worked. They came to my house to repair our refrigerator which my Mom had purchased here several year ago from them. Service response was quick and friendly. However we were advised that it was a costly repair. Service charge was $90. So we went to the showroom to purchase another one. Three employees were there and only one other customer who kept walking in and out. But two of the employees waited on her. After never even being acknowledged, even when I went to the counter. I told my Mother lets go and we left. Poor customer service. Had someone at least said I'll be right with you or even made eye contact then they would have had our $2000 purchase. Our refrigerator was leaking water and the ice-maker wasn't working. We called Bellingham Electric on the recommendation of neighbors. The technician came out the same day. He went to the source of the problems right away. He fixed the ice maker ordered a part for the leak, came back the day and installed it. My wife and I just moved to the area from Texas and I am so happy that I found Bellingham Electric. There's a reason why they have so many 5 star reviews. They came out to fix our fridge and the technician was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to fix everything and educated me along the way. I just had them back out today to install a new microwave and the technicians were able to get this done within a very short time and they were very friendly as well. They called me throughout the day to keep me apprised of when they would be arriving. Their prices for repairs are extremely reasonable and the work they do is excellent. I cannot say enough good things about this company and I want everyone in the area to know not to go anywhere else but here if you need any repairs or new appliances. Great job guys!! These guys helped me out sooo much. I had purchased a brand new refrigerator from someone else which turned out to be a lemon. The original seller did not stand behind his sale and left me to fend for myself. Bellingham electric will be the only place I buy appliances from now on. The staff is extremely helpful and is willing to work with you until you have what you need. My husband and I bought all of our appliances except our stove at bellingham electric. The only reason we didnt buy our stove from them was that I didnt know of the store just yet. We bought our stove from Poirier in Norwood and I have to say it was an awful experience. No one wanted to help and they were just plain rude. Total opposite of my experience at Bellingham Electric! We purchased a washer & dryer last week. Alex, our sales rep, answered all our questions and was able to help us choose the right set for our needs. This store is small enough to offer personal service, yet large enough to offer a wide selection of appliances. Delivery was quick and on-time. Very professional installers were courteous and did a fabulous job. They also removed our old washer/dryer. It's a long walk from our driveway to our steep bulkhead stairs, to the opposite side of our basement. They moved our new appliances in, and old appliances out without complaint, in fact they really seemed to enjoy their job! We've made many purchases here over the years and have always been satisfied. Would definitely go back again. read more

I have never written a bad review of a place...until now. I never heard of this place. We were buying a condo that uses them for appliances. We went, picked out appliances and paid for our share of the bill. The condo builder was responsible for a part of the bill (an allowance towards appliances). We move in, appliances installed, things are great. A couple months in we get an invoice. Its for the exact amount that the builder was responsible for so I ignore it. We are into December now, another bill shows up. Then a phone call. I speak with Terry. I tell him, that's the exact amount the builder was responsible for, he sounds a little confused and then says your right and sends them an invoice. They respond stating that they already paid it. Last communication was a few days before Christmas. I was emailed the rebate forms that I should have received right from the beginning. Again, it was good so far. Sent the rebates in. For some reason this morning the bill was sitting on my desk so I checked it out (I mean I paid my part months ago, they had my card info, where is the confusion). Turns out they subtracted what the builder was responsible for twice. So I did owe them. I responded to Terry's email and explained this and asked him to call me when they opened. That call didn't come. Instead some collection agency was calling and texting me to call them asap or a mechanics lien was going to be put on my property... at first I thought it was a scam so I ignored it. The second time it happened I said what the heck and called. Told the person I thought it was a scam. He then explained it was from Bellingham Electric.... Wait whaaaa? No heads up, no threatening letter, no phone call, no email, no nothing, just this. If I didn't call my credit was going to be screwed. That's a bit extreme for something that was THEIR FAULT!!! This place doesn't seem to be that bad , so if you do go, just be careful, they don't seem to have it together, and take very extreme measures (even when they are the ones at fault) read more

Also repair man was very polite and although he wasn't able to fix my washer in one day he was able to diagnose the problem and order the part I needed which came in promptly and he returned before the weeks end to fix it! I purchased an LG front loading stackable washing machine from this store in August. It has never been right and has had several service calls. Now Bellingham Electric refuses to service it because they have been out to my house too many times. LG has been very unhelpful, this machine is a lemon and should be replaced. I would not shop at Bellingham Electric as they will not stand behind their installation and products they sell. read more

Terrible customer service. My washing machine is two years old. In the last few months it was not draining or rinsing and making a loud noise. I called and the "repair" man was miserable, very rude and not knowledgeable. Three service calls and the machine still not fixed. He said it was because it was a low end model and he insinuated I was making the problem up. I called and spoke to a "manager" to complain and he did not seem to care. A few weeks later and my machine is not working. If they gave me a new washer for free I would say no. I did go elsewhere and bought a new washer. Please think twice before purchasing any appliance from Bellingham Electric. read more

Bought a dehumidifier today, 15 minutes before closing. Salesman that helped me was knowledgeable, friendly and even knocked off 10% off the price of the unit (even though we are going through a heat spell and dehumidifiers were hard to come by). Just purchased new appliances from Bellingham Electric and the process from sales to install was excellent. I have used them in the past and had similar experience. Sales people are friendly and knowledgable and spend lots of time with you if you need help deciding like I did. Delivery people come when they say they are coming and are polite and helpful. Repair/service people are great on the phone if you have a question. It is so much better to go there than to a big box store and know they have a solid service department for any future issues. read more

We have used Bellingham Electric for all our appliance needs for at least 15 years. They have made good suggestions and have stood behind their products. They arrive when they say they will and give good information about the appliances. We have had them repair some appliances and again, they arrive on time and call before the appointment to let us know they are on their way. The staff is familiar because they have been there forever and we feel like we know them personally. That includes the repair staff. They are also very competitive in their pricing. Even though we use them for all our appliance purchases, we shop around for price and they have always been competitive. I saw a washing machine I just purchased at Bellingham Electric for $200 more at BJs. Highly recommend them. read more

The appliances are overpriced and service is, well, you can get better service at Lowe's and Home Depot. The salespeople, although knowledgeable, misinform you about their "service after the sale" and are more than willing to sell you discontinued items off the floor without letting you know. I will never deal with this company again. I called Bellingham Electric to check a squeaking noise in the washing machine in my tenant's apartment. The "repair" man completely ignored my tentant, a highly experienced mechanic who had examined the machine himself. When he tried to explain what was causing the noise, the repairman took (literally) one look at the machine and decided the problem was that it was too low to the floor, even though it had worked perfectly in the same position for years. He adjusted the legs, didn't check whether the noise was still happening, charged me $90, and left. Ten minutes, tops. The next time my tenant did laundry the squeak was exactly as it had been before. When I called Bellingham Electric to say that the noise was not fixed, I was told that the repairman said the machine was "too old and that nothing could be done about it." That's pretty strange, considering that the machine works perfectly, except that it makes a squeaking noise during the wash cycle. Of course, it makes total sense if you're really trying to sell people new machines instead of fixing their old ones. read more
