It keeps communication clear and hair stylist have to juggle a lot of things besides pricing. They have to give you the perfect cut, can't talk too little or too much, engage in active listening while using precision. If I was worried about pricing- I would make that clear when I sat down. In my case I was willing to pay whatever for what I wanted so I didn't have to. Just keep it real and stop blaming businesses for your lack of communication. Just a thought!

I have naturally dark hair and have had many balayages by her as well, none of which have caused any "frying" of my hair.
