I have to say our scheduled visit to AAA Tire & Auto Service on Black Friday proved to be better…read morethan I had hoped for but more costly although it was necessary. I had scheduled a purchase of four tires to be installed, alignment, balancing, the works. The price was very good, the need was great and the scheduling worked as well. With this time of Covid we have been distancing ourselves more than normal, I however was impressed with the social distancing and the sanitizing in the office lobby and waiting area at AAA South Toledo. As we were waiting for our tire installation, our service/sales technician Mark came up to me, which is never a good sign. Long story, short, the vehicle needed rear pads and rotors. I am a novice when it comes to autos and since my husband's stroke I am at a loss about anything auto related. I actually asked Mark if he could speak with my son who happens to live out of state since I trust his judgement. Mark was nice enough to speak with him and we ended up getting the brakes and the tires and I am perfectly pleased. I definitely will be recommending and going back to AAA and my compliments to Mark for taking the time to be helpful. An added perk is that since I am an AAA Member there was also another discount. They sent me updates of their arrival time and were there within the window of time given. Upon inspection of my window, it was found that the crack was longer than I expected, so it could not be repaired, it had to be replaced. They would have to come out the next day for that since I didn't know the size of the crack, and they did not have a windshield with them. The same scenario for the next day. Arrived within time given , replaced windshield, and had to take it out for a 10 minute drive to calibrate the cameras. All in, took about an hour in my own driveway. I did not have to go anywhere. Very convenient! Both of the technicians were very respectful and did their job. I would not hesitate to use them again should I ever need their services.

To put it frankly, I would send my grandmother to Speck Sales which I feel is the highest level of praise possible. Every time I take a vehicle to this tire shop I see the owners working hard to serve costomers. They are between the shop and the front desk each day ensuring that things are being done right. I feel as though family operated businesses such as Speck Sales are becoming few and far between and I garuntee their prices will compete with if not beat the larger tire shops! You won't find a better place to take your vehicle!!

On this recent trip, we noticed that our tire pressure (PSI) was too high, so I quickly drove here and the manager immediately asked me to pull up to Bay 1, which I did. He pulled out the air hose and concurred with my assessment and decreased the pressure in each tire. And - he adamantly refused our tip. In less than 8 minutes, we were on the road again. That was awesome service!!

We were received a call telling us that our brakes and rotors were still at 70%. They could have easily changed both, but rather they showed great integrity by letting us know that everything was good and nothing needed to be done. They also looked at our spare tire and re-inflated that. When we went to pick up the car, we didn't have one penny owed to them after all of the time they spent working on the car. We greatly appreciate their honesty, professionalism and their integrity and we will be returning for future maintenance and care of our vehicles.

I decided to go with this place anyway and I am so glad I did. Not only was he able to fix my issue on such a short notice, but Steve personally handled this. For the price: he was less than what AI was telling me other places charge within the area. I never felt like I didn't know the status of my vehicle, I never felt like I was in the dark, and I never felt like I wasn't "family". I have already recommended this place to my family up here, and a lot of friends in the area. Hands-down, Steve's is the best mechanic I've ever had the blessing to run into. Seriously, why would you go anywhere else if you're within the Toledo area? 100 out of 10.
