While those items were done, many of my original concerns were ignored or only briefly looked at. Right after picking it up, my ABS and Traction Control lights came on. Within days the check engine light appeared as well. I had to bring the car back four or five times in just two months for the same problem, and every time I was told it was "fixed" -- only for the lights to return. I also asked them to fix a scraping plastic piece under my front bumper, which they promised to handle but never touched. To make matters worse, the check engine light came back on the same day I noticed the bumper issue was ignored. The lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. I was rarely given updates, felt dismissed rather than taken seriously, and was left without reliable transportation while my car sat in their shop. After repeated failures, poor customer service, and wasted time and money, I have lost all trust in Tecumseh Tire Exchange. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend their services.

AND STILL GREAT AND HONEST. Our car engine grumbled. At first we thought it might be road noise (newly paved...) but it continued. Now SLEAZY shops could have made up all sorts of issues starting with the ignition coil itself or engine issues and there's no easy way to double check. But these folk were honest and charged, well, I won't say the amount but a very fare price. On 7/10, I call and check to see when would I likely receive my car back from service and I was informed by Mark, one of the service workers, that I didn't in fact have an appointment. I then proceed to talk to Will, the service manager, and he then tells me I actually had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday. I then request a confirmation of an appointment and they apparently don't have a way of confirming appointments? I get called on Tuesday and was informed that the 200 dollar fee was now close to 600. I was not informed about that when I initially scheduled the appointment, and was baffled that at no point in time was I informed of the complete cost of the service. I spoke with my friend Will again and his only solution was to take the new part out and put the old, failed part in. The final straw came when I went to go pick up my car. I had requested that after the servicing, to have my car locked with the key inside. I get there and, as pictured, my key was clearly visible, and the doors were NOT locked. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this "Fine" establishment.

I heard this place had a good rep by some Dundee locals. They test drove it and heard the noise, then put it on a hoist and checked everything on the front end. Thier conclusion was I need 2 lower ball joints and 2 sway bar end links. Quote to fix $600. I made an appointment for the next week. I called back days later and got a quote for ball joints only and skip the sway bar links. new quote for less work by a different guy... $635! Something not right here. We'll it kept gnawing at me that $600 or 635 was too much for that type of repair. I used to work on cars when I was young and had more time and less money. So I called a few other places that I used to go to when I lived in Adrian. Brakes and More = $519 Small. shop =$420 Larrys Muffler = 360 Hmmm. So I cancelled my appointment with Juckettes and made one with Larrys muffler. Well Larrys Muffler checks it out and determines that the sway bar end links are indeed bad.... but the 2 lower ball joints were fine and needed NOTHING. Cost to replace 2 sway bar end links ...$168 at Larrys Muffler. I almost spent $600. Was it an honest mistake or was I being suckered? You decide. I am giving the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars instead of 1.... with the conclusion that they're just really damn expensive." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End review of Juckettes.
