It pretty much sums up…read moreLarrys Muffler as the savior of the day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Came here (Juckettes) to get a quote for a front end clunk noise on a 2011 model year car. I heard this place had a good rep by some Dundee locals. They test drove it and heard the noise, then put it on a hoist and checked everything on the front end. Thier conclusion was I need 2 lower ball joints and 2 sway bar end links. Quote to fix $600. I made an appointment for the next week. I called back days later and got a quote for ball joints only and skip the sway bar links. new quote for less work by a different guy... $635! Something not right here. We'll it kept gnawing at me that $600 or 635 was too much for that type of repair. I used to work on cars when I was young and had more time and less money. So I called a few other places that I used to go to when I lived in Adrian. Brakes and More = $519 Small. shop =$420 Larrys Muffler = 360 Hmmm. So I cancelled my appointment with Juckettes and made one with Larrys muffler. Well Larrys Muffler checks it out and determines that the sway bar end links are indeed bad.... but the 2 lower ball joints were fine and needed NOTHING. Cost to replace 2 sway bar end links ...$168 at Larrys Muffler. I almost spent $600. Was it an honest mistake or was I being suckered? You decide. I am giving the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars instead of 1.... with the conclusion that they're just really damn expensive." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End review of Juckettes. Thanks Larrys Muffler for being honest. I guess it's worth the 30 miles drive to get service from you guys.

One of the mechanics opened my door to check the proper measurements for tire pressure, seems fine until they slammed the door shut so hard that they KNOCKED THE ENTIRE WINDOW off the track and broke it. When I asked them to put the window back, they claimed they weren't "allowed" to handle such a repair, which I now know is code for "we can't admit to damaging a customer's car". It was a $400+ repair to get the window back on track and the damaged parts replaced, and I had to find another garage in Adrian to do the work. As for the wiper blades... They never really worked right. They barely cleaned the windshield in the two years that I had them on the car. When I went to replace them with a new set, I discovered that the blades that these "professionals" used were the WRONG SIZE. They were not compatible with my car's model despite the blades being an adequate size, meaning that they were never going to do the job correctly. These people are quick at their jobs, but far from professional! They're sloppy with their work, don't double-check anything and will damage your car without any care once you paid your bill and you're on your way. Avoid this place! Especially since they charge $60 for an oil change when every other garage in Adrian will do it for half that price without breaking your vehicle.
