We wanted to buy a set of Indian art inspired coffee mugs and T-shirts, so we were really excited to find this big Pendleton store in town. But this store was not welcoming. There were only one staff at this large but narrow store. This staff was an old white woman, wearing a whitish cowboy hat on this day. We crossed her twice, closely, when we entered and exited the store. The store has very narrow walkways, she looked at us with unfriendly face as to say; what the hell are you doing here. No greetings or a smile, just mean stares! The second time when we cross her again on the way out, she looked at us with side eyes again, seems annoyed. This was unfortunate and abnormal, as we have been to many other stores in town. Everyone was friendly, greeted us and tried to help. Do not go here unless you want to be treated with a bad attitude. Management, if you care, we were at this store on Aug 30, 2024, around 10:30am.

There is a huge selection of fun stuff that if I had more room in my carry on, I might have went hog wild. What didn't help was that I came here in November so there were Christmas things for sale already and I love good Christmas decorations. The store is also fairly large so you can roam and take a look at a lot of different things. There are also quite a few entrances/exits, which seemed odd for shoplifting reasons but I appreciated being able to walk out onto a different side of the street. I will say that stuff was super pricey in here, but if it is mostly hand made by artists, I understand. I also live in an overpriced tourist city, so I understand the mark up. I will say that I thought the staff was a bit aloof. Like they didn't care to answer any questions or make any conversation, or even say hello. That was fine. I like being left alone when I shop anyway. Aloof is fine but rudeness isn't. When we left one of the employees was super rude and slammed the door on us (someone else had left it open and she thought it was us so she said something and slammed the door) so that left a bad taste in my mouth but I will say this store is still pretty cute and I'd come back.

Sarkes helped me try on probably 30 coats. He put them on me and hung them back up for me. I told him that I had a budget and I was worried I couldn't afford most of the things. He told me not to worry and we would find something. I ended up liking 2 but couldn't afford both. While I was deciding which one I wanted he brought the price down for me so I was able to get both!!! I'm in love with both of my jackets and I am still over the moon with happiness that he was so sweet and helpful. I'm gonna feel like a million bucks every time I wear my new jackets. If I ever come back to Jackson Hole I will for sure stop in again. Or if I ever want another coat and not able to physically come in, I will call the store and go through him for my next purchase.
