I found this restaurant randomly as we drove from Vermont to Portland. This is the kind of find…read morethat I love - a local diner/cafe off the beaten path. If you find yourself in Sanford, this is a place that is a good find. The menu contains all of the breakfast and lunch standards. Breakfast is available until 2:00 pm, which is when the restaurant closes, so everything on the menu is sold from opening to close. My wife had the waffles ($4.99) and bacon. The bacon was crispy, but the waffles had a softer than usual (for us) texture. I'm not sure if that's normal, or just the batter and cooking that Sweet Memories does. However, it was tasty and she enjoyed it. I ordered the cleverly named "Big Breakfast" (8.89) that included: Three eggs served with two pieces, bacon, two sausages, a half slice a ham with home fries and your choice of toast or an English Muffin. The quality of the food is good and the prices are an amazingly good value. I'm sure that this same meal back home in Minneapolis would be more $15 for the Big Breakfast and $12 for the waffles and bacon. The service was a bit sluggish, but all in all, fine. I would love for a second location to open in Minneapolis, Minnesota, complete with the Sanford, Maine prices.

Staff is always super sweet and fast. The restaurant is always cleaned and well managed. The food…read moreis great for breakfast food. Great prices.

This little gem of a store is one of my favorites! They carry a very unique wide selection of food…read moreand cooking items. They are from Pennsylvania and are Amish (I believe) and bring their simple down home hardworking energy and put it into the store. They sell "bulk" food/cooking items(spices, herbs, candies etc) so most of it is in clear plastic bags or plastic containers. They do this so they can offer all the wonderful items at a very affordable cost to us the customer. You will find so many different items that your "average " stores DONT carry. They sell fresh organic dairy and meat items and have a full deli with a variety of affordable deli meats and cheeses. They also sell their BEAUTIFUL hand crafted outdoor furniture and items. Such as chairs, swings, sheds etc that are absolutely GORGEOUS and you know it's amazing quality coming from them made by hardworking people!! The owners are always very kind and helpful!! The gentleman that I believe owns it can be quiet and seem all business but he's very nice. If you are ever in the area and want to see something different stop on by and take a peek!! You won't regret it!!!

This is a great store to get baking supplies. They have a wide variety of flour, chocolate chips,…read morenuts, etc. for reasonable prices. Forgot to get fresh kale which looked really amazing. They also seem to have some decent prices on cheeses. I was hoping to would have some fresh homemade Amish butter. I am still longing for the one I had in Pennsylvania several years ago. The service was friendly. The store was well organized and clean. Overall, I recommend this country store.
