Was really hoping that this would be my threading place but it won't be. Brows are shaped nicely, however, my inner right brow was threaded round. I have a natural squarish inner brow and prefer it to a round brow. Usually, when you request a clean up, it is just that. read more

Only 2 stars due to the awkward feeling from the two ladies that work there. The price is a bit high too. Visited for the first time last month and it was uncomfortable, you don't feel welcomed. The younger lady did my brows, didn't catch a name, she did a pretty good job on my brows, but I'm not sure that I'll be back due to that weird feeling in the shop. Keep in mind it wasn't busy at all, I was the only person inside the shop. Too bad since this is the only brow location in Westchester and close to home. I'll go back to the South Bay for better service and making you feel more welcome. read more

Good: Been wanting to reshape my eyebrows and found this place on Yelp. Came in at 6pm on a Thurs and there was no wait time. Eyebrow shape came out great! Bad: The lady was pretty rough on my brows. I waa growing it out so the hairs were not as "tamed" lol, not sure if that was a factor on how rough she was threading. I got home and found multiple cuts above and below my brows :( read more

Flew into LAX airport and headed straight here to get my brows threaded. Manisha was very welcoming and friendly. She was also very meticulous and careful with my brows. My brows look great!! I worry about folks making them too thin, but Manisha knew how to optimize my shape and keep them as thick as possible. She dabbed me with witch hazel that smelled of rose water afterwards. Also!! Super happy I found Bell Brows. Searching via yelp I almost drove out of my way to go to a competitor with a $5 coupon but I'm glad I didn't. Here's why. Located on a nice quiet street you enter Bell and are welcomed by a large spacious room. When I went there was only one person working there but she was so nice and accommodating. Spoke to all her waiting customers and thanked them for being so patient. Really not a problem at all. She offered free wifi while we played on our phones waiting to get our brows done. For me it had been a long while since I'd had my brows threaded. Mine are also not even in fullness. I have a bad habit of plucking one a little too much and it just grows differently than the other. My brow artist as I like to call her suggested I get castor oil and apply it to my brows every night. Within 4-6 weeks I should see fuller thicker brows primed and ready for a fresh threading. I immediately went to CVS and picked up a bottle. In the laxative section no less -- castor oil is a laxative too -- and only paid $1.72. Fuller thicker brows for under $2. Yes please! Also, they give you a card for a free brow threading after 8. I had such a nice experience I'll definitely be back. read more

The best threading shop I've been to by far, and I've gone to way too many. The shop is clean, easily accessible, and the prices are very reasonable - they even offer additional discounts for students. I've gone here twice, and both times the threader has shaped my eyebrows to perfection (I'm very picky with my eyebrows- and they are very unruly and thinned out, before coming here!) I live in Simi Valley but I try to plan accordingly so that I can get threaded at Belle, specifically. Love it! read more

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I think 5 stars stops at the threading and service. I decided to drop in to get my eyebrows touched up and they look amazing. For a great price, too. I also decided to get a Brazilian wax, not the best decision. I left in pain and feeling irritated. I am not a fan of the hard wax used on my skin and I notcied right away, I wasn't powdered before the waxing started. I think I might have been better off making an appointment with my regurlar wax lady or just shaving. I will say that the lady who serviced me, I'm not sure her name, but she has short hair and she's very thin, she was incredibly sweet and she tried to relieve the pain as much as possible. In any case, I'll just be coming back for threading and nothing else. Hopefully my review will change. read more

I was on a business trip in Seattle and decided to swoop down to LA to visit some old friends in my old stomping grounds for the weekend. But I looked a mess. The casual and slightly unkempt look that was perfectly fine in Seattle would definitely not fly in glam town. I needed some grooming...STAT! I found them on Yelp and they had such good reviews I decided to give them a try. Fantastic threaders...precise, much better than the folks I go to in Texas (Wink). I was calling to schedule an appointment with manisha to get my eyebrows threaded. Too bad the appointment was never made because the woman who picked up the phone was a piece of work. It was like she didn't want to make an appointment, she didn't ask me for any information like my name- why not ask for the name of someone who's scheduling an appointment?- when I tried to ask her if manisha had any availability earlier than 4, she tried to rush me off the phone instead of trying to find the right time for an appointment. Unprofessional is an understatement! That woman was very rude and now I'll never know how "good" this place is. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows cleaned up and upper lip threaded. There was an older lady (presumably the owner?) working that day. I was optimistic but unfortunately the work is pretty bad. First off, she completely forgot to thread the tops and middle of my eyebrows. I reminded her twice to do the middle and she barely got half. She also left numerous hairs on my upper lip (they were long enough to be threaded cleanly). I also have cuts on my lip and eyebrows. In the middle of this, she kept apologizing to other customers for the wait. I guess she was rushing due to the wait, but first impressions are lasting, and I will not be returning. My standards for threading are high and there are many other salons in a 5 mile radius. read more

Absolutely great! Just moved to the area and as anyone could imagine, I was at a loss with out my usual brow place. So much that I let them grow out for weeks while I attempted to clean them myself!!!! Finally I had to do something about it. I came in and had the girls work with me slowly. First by doing a real simple clean up (terrified to let anyone else touch my brows) but by my third visit I had them fully done. I couldn't believe it! It was the best my brows had EVER looked. I went for a Henna tattoo before attending a friend's weeding. I am extremely disappointed with the results. Firstly, she didn't do a good job with the design and it was not consistent on both the hands. I know how long Henna tattoos last depend on a number of factors but this faded the next day although i kept it for an hour. The quality is really questionable. It was sitting there already (not a freshly prepared paste) when i got there. I got the simplest design (both front and back) and it costed me $60 before tip. Definitely not worth the money and wouldn't recommend. read more

This place was phenomenal! I had never had my eyebrows threaded and went in after reading positive yelp reviews. I told the lady working, Nafisa, that I had only ever done waxing and she told me a little about the difference between waxing and threading. I decided to try threading and Nafisa was great. She was so gentle and checked in with me multiple times. After doing one eyebrow she had me check it and tell her if I wanted any changes before she did the other one. Horrible. Come at your own risk. I explicitly told the lady (Roxanne) NOT to cut or thread a section of my eyebrow because I'm trying to grow thicker eyebrows. If any of you have ever tried to grow eyebrows, you know how long they take to grow. After MONTHS of getting this section to grow, Roxanne cuts it and makes my eyebrows thinner. Convenience came at a high cost today (I always go to Namita's eyebrows but came here today because it's near the area where I'll be this afternoon). Never again! Nafisa was terrific but she's no longer here. The owner never arrives until late afternoon. Hope this review will help all of you!! I learned my lesson. I rarely give one star reviews (especially local mom and pop shops), but nothing upsets me more than places that cannot get their scheduling together. Like other yelpers, we've all figured out that Manisha (who we think is the owner) is the only one that can reliably do a good job on eyebrow threading. I decided to give them a try a month ago, specifically setting up an appointment with Manisha via yelp message. I arrived a few minutes before she arrived and one of the other ladies insistently tried to do my brows (I had to tell her I had an appointment with Manisha several times). Manisha was fantastic. I loved her work so much that I decided that she's my gal going forward since I recently moved into the area. Again, I scheduled time with her for an appointment via yelp message for today and when I arrive, two ladies there said that she wasn't coming in today and insisted on helping me with my eyebrows. No notice or courtesy message in advance asking for a reschedule. I walked out pissed and seriously disappointed. My time is valuable. My weekend schedules are carefully set in advance so I can maximize efficiency since I work crazy hours. Nothing upsets me more than a business that does not respect their clients' time. read more
