Review is long overdue. Narissa & Wendi are both bomb. Cannot go wrong with either tech. The Lash Trap definitely is where all the Boss Bae's need to go to get lashed. There are a lot of people in the industry now, but The Lash Trap has BEEN AROUND... Whether you want classic, hybrid or full on volume-- they got you, girl Don't mind my selfies, but the lashes are LASHING!

I will say that I don't have experience with lashes or anything that they service here. This is my first time and I am very picky where I go, but since my best friends lashes look so amazing. I thought I'd try. This place was relatively close to me so I thought I'd stop by in person to check out there business. Service was great and booking was fairly easy. They do require a $25 deposit so I booked my appointment. I did change my appointment a couple times just because I was a little hesitant and didn't feel ready. Sometime later, I decided to move forward since I was going on a trip and really wanted lashes. so I was booked for beginning of January. Day of my appt I was greeted by front desk, and then my lash technician took me to the back. She sat me on the bed and she began to wash the lashes as she started applying the glue in the lashes, I realize that there was an extreme heat sensation and extreme pain sensation. I tried my very best not to complain or say anything, but it got to the point where it was bothersome. I mentioned to the technician that I felt an extreme burning sensation inside my eyeball so she immediately stopped and said let me change the glue as soon as she stopped a few moments later, the burning went away, but I was still very concerned because it hurt like hell. When the glue was changed, all went well. She finished my lash extension. I paid and I was on my way. The next day I left out of town and just short of a week I realized that on one of the lashes there was for lack of better words "crust" on the eyelid . I've never had anything like this before and just thought it was dryness so I applied extra lotion throughout the day. It became uncomfortable as days progressed and became worse a week later. I came back and I stopped into lash lounge and advised them and they even saw themselves. They asked if I had washed it. I said yes they said if I had bought their products, I said no I was never Advised to buy their product for washing eyelashes. They said because of the "fires the debris could've gone into my eye" which didn't makes sense to me because I wasn't in town. They did advise that they can remove them however I don't see how this would've resolved anything. I didn't ask, but if they would've removed them, would they have refunded me? I don't think so, so I was just curious as to what that would've been done at the time. I did not have time to get them removed so I said no, but I did ask if they can let a supervisor know, and they agreed that they would let the owner know which a month now later I have not heard back. I'm not saying that this will happen to everyone, but this did happen to me which is very unfortunate because a month and a half later the side that "didn't get infected/crust/"debris" is still intact with lashes and the on the other the lashes fell out including my own, so I'm a bit disappointed.

Today I removed my lashes with lash remover and my real lashes are ruined. I have bald spots in my…read morelashes. I don't think they hire lash techs that know and understand what they're doing..

It was my first time doing those and was kind of nervous because of the anticipation of the pain. Loreal told me color depend on my hair color. She didn't let me choose the color. She talked me through the process. She first measured and aligned my eyebrows so it's symmetrical. She didn't shade it for me to see how it looked. It was just lines that she drew. However, she asked me if I liked how it looked with the lines before starting the microblading. She did the microblading the first round and told me that it feels like getting eyebrow threaded. And then the 2nd and 3rd time around she put the numbing cream. The numbing cream did work but there were some parts of my eyebrows that really hurt when she microbladed the 2nd and 3rd time around. The 3rd round, she did microshading. I'd wish maybe there were more numbing cream around the edges of eyebrows so it covers more area. A few times when she was microblading her hands were on top of my eye ball and eyelid which made my eyes really uncomfortable and become teary. I know she probably needs the skin to be tight to get accurate strokes, but wish it was more gentler. Even with the numbing cream the blade that was digging into my skin hurt so so so much!! I was sweating with the light that's so close to my face and with the pain with each etch of the blade into areas of my skin that wasn't numb. However, at times she would ask how I'm feeling or if anything is uncomfortable and would adjust her hand in a different position. I wished how she positioned her hands would not dig and put pressure into my eyeballs. She uses bright lights so just beware it gets hot esp when it would hurt every time the blade dug into the areas were it wasn't numb. So I suggest wearing light and comfortable clothes. I wished she could have turned off the lights when letting the eyebrows set or numb during process. In the end, she gave me instructions and a little kit for after care. However, she didn't explain anything to me and just told me to look at the card. I wished she explained more about it. I read the card at home and was still confused. So I googled a lot of different after care instructions on YouTube and Google. Loreal did text me how my brows were doing and if I had any questions. When I told her what I was doing as after care because I didn't know and wasn't explained to me, she told me I should have asked her. So, she then told me instructions for aftercare. My eyebrows turned out really good!!! I really like the shape and color!!! Everything was symmetrical and the thickness was what I wanted. I had to get use to it since the first day it's a really dark color, but after 4th or 5th day (for me), it's better. I like that she has music throughout the session. Made me relax. I got Ombre brows for the first time and if you are a first timer like me prepare yourself because the pain is definitely a 9/10. It does hurt but it was well worth the pain. The bathroom was also fairly clean. I was also given some numbing cream for the procedure and a small baggy with instructions on aftercare before I left. Make sure you pack some water/snacks &/or perhaps eat beforehand The first few days I almost cried at how dark they got but as the weeks went by they started to fade, peel, & heal stunningly. Thank you again
