I got my eyebrows threaded here on Saturday 3/23/19. After the older lady was done threading my eyebrows, she gave me the mirror to look & give final approval. I noticed a mark in between my eyebrows, and she assured me it was just from the pressure of the thread and it will go away shortly - it will not leave a mark. Yelp didn't steer me wrong! I came to Sharmila for eyebrow threading and she was quick, painless and my eyebrows look fantastic! I have thin brows that I've been trying to grow so I plan to purchase some brow growth oil she sells the next time I'm here since she was sold out. I got a Brazilian and underarm wax. And You know you didn't quite get a good wax job when you're still doing lots of tweezing afterwards. I know I'll be needing a wax sooner than usual as my Hair was not uprooted but cut half way through, like I shaved. I even called before hand and was asked to walk in; on arrival I was told no one was available to wax. After I insisted the owner who had a hand injury, administered my wax. She didn't strip opposite of hair growth. Unfortunately this was not at all a professional wax job, was not at all worth the price I paid even with the discount I got. You might as well go to EUROPEAN WAX for that price. Hardly painful, highly effective and clean waxes. read more

Been going here for years, both for eyebrow threading and to put henna in my hair. You heard right, if you want an alternative to toxic hair dyes, you can use henna! (Black, brown or red). You can bring your own or they can provide. It's a little messy, but coming here makes the process much easier and more manageable. Thanks for always taking care of me. read more

I followed a yelp review and tried this spot out a week ago today. If it were possible to rate a "0" I would. A young girl threaded my brows and chin/neck. This was my first& (now LAST) experience being threaded. I didn't really know what to expect but assumed I was being treated by a licensed professional. I noticed that during the threading process the salon appeared to be extra dark. Especially in the area I was seated. Given that sufficient lighting should be or expected during this process. That was not the case. I did notice that she kept rolling the thread back n forth in spots which had already been done. Again, not sure of the process I assumed this was normal & a licensed professional. She actually redid my left brow 7/8 times over n over in the same general area. The same day I had extreme tenderness even to the touch. The next day it was even worse. I applied witch hazel ice nothing helped. I assumed this was NORMAL... by the 3rd day I started noticing scabs and cuts on on left eye brow where she had cut me with the thread. My brow bone is still swollen from the process. I have never been so humiliated in my life!!!!!! I am APPALLED that they would allow someone to even attempt the process without so much as someone standing by to assist or instruct if this is a trainee. But that was not the case. On Thursday I contacted the salon and asked for the owner. Even after explaining that I had a complaint I was informed she was on the phone and they would take a message. They offered a refund and apologized, however the owner has yet to even reach out to me to find out the details nor offer her personal apologies. I told them I was NOT INTERESTED in a refund but more importantly that this not be allowed to happen to another customer!!!! It was a HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE & handled in the most unprofessional-manner. I do plan to move forward with contacting the contractors board as well. Because management doesn't feel it's important enough to handle the issue at face value nor to be courteous enough I will escalate higher up for a resolution. After this experience I can truly say I WILL NEVER EVER go through a threading procedure again in my life. And if you are contemplating ~Do not risk using this facility!!! read more

This place is good for getting your eyebrows threaded. That's it. Do Not Get Waxed Here. It is extremely unsanitary. They only used one waxing stick... who knows how many other people that touched? Bacteria thrives in warm environments like that of the hot wax, the low heat does not kill it. Everything about the waxing process was awkward, very messy, and poorly done. Today was my first visit to this business and my first time having my eyebrows threaded! I will preface by stating that I'm a straight male. A friend got his done somewhere else and they did a bit too much and gave him a more feminine/zesty look. I briefly explained to the woman that did my eyebrows(didn't get her name) what I wanted and she said she understood. Overall the experience went well. There was some slight discomfort, actually a lil pain but in the more troublesome areas I suppose. Also being a newb something I'm not used too. The only awkward thing was having to hold and pull skin for a thorough job. In the end I was pleased. Eyebrows were cleaned up and not too thin. I would love to agree with some of my fellow yelpers but I can't. Really? I showed and was very specific on how my brows are done, first girl who started couldn't understand the no round concept, owner tried to come to the rescue. Which I would have been ok with. However the entire time she asked me 4-5 times to do my upper lip. You know those memes that's say; Eyebrow lady: "Do you need upper lip?!" Me: "I didn't thinks so, but maybe I do now!" I EXPLAINED HOW I REFUSE, SINCE MY SKIN IS DRY. ALSO I AM ASIAN I BARELY HAVE HAIR ANYWHERE. That's why when someone messes up my eyebrows it takes 6 months to grow out and fix. She asked me 5 different times. On top of it kept asking where I lived because they'd give me a stamp card, which is ok. But then goes about saying people who pay with card get charged $10 since they have a $20 minimum and credit card fees. Being a business owner myself this makes me laugh. If you wanna get paid $10 just say $10, don't talk about fees etc. She charged me $8 because I was new. Anyways she should have kept her card, I do not recommend this place.
