I got my first facial here after dealing with skin texture from a bad reaction about a year ago. Angelique was very kind and friendly, heard my concerns and did just what I needed. My skin feels so soft now and I can't wait to come back. read more

I've been coming here for over a year and truly love it. From the moment I walk in, I always feel welcomed and never judged for my skin concerns. Even on the few occasions I've arrived a few minutes late, I've never felt any attitude or discomfort--only kindness and professionalism. I met Shelaine years ago when she was seeing clients from her home, and it's been beautiful to watch her grow. Her space is always clean, calm, and incredibly relaxing--I've fallen asleep during my facials more than once. I typically get the standard facial with a chemical peel, and I've recently started dermaplaning with Angelique, which I love. Both Shelaine and Angelique are extremely gentle and thoughtful with my skin. Highly recommend. read more

Let me be real... I went in for a facial on Saturday, and while Pam (the owner) was very nice, the overall experience just wasn't it for me. If I book an appointment for 10:00, I'll give you a little grace period... but once we're pushing past that, it starts to feel inconsiderate. People have things to do. Time matters. Now the facial itself? It felt rushed. Like... I'm laying there trying to relax, and it's just a lot going on. Pam starts, then someone else comes in, there's conversation happening, and I'm just confused because how am I supposed to respond while you're massaging my face? I came to relax, not multitask. And the vibe? Not giving spa at all. The door was open at times, so I'm hearing people walking back and forth, talking in the hallway... it just wasn't peaceful. And the music? I don't need a playlist that makes me feel like I should get off the table and start dancing. I want calm. Quiet. Relaxation. Let me drift off a little. Now I will say this... they offered champagne, which I appreciated, and yes, I had a couple glasses And when it was all said and done, my skin did look nice. I had a glow, I won't take that away from them. But overall? The experience matters just as much as the results... and this just wasn't giving what I needed. Would I come back? Mmm... yeah, that's gonna be a no for me. read more

My rating is solely based on customer service experience . I unfortunately did not have the facial service I was intending to have. I booked online, a few days later I get a call stating that the appointment I made was not available because they did not include a lunch time for their staff. The person I spoke with seemed to rush our conversation , and from the options she quickly gave me , felt pressed that I had to decide on a different time and day. I choose a new time and day. They stated I would receive a text message for confirmation. The text confirmation date was wrong. I called back to get that corrected and was told a different time to come instead of the time I agreed to minutes before. Again the person I spoke to seemed really stressed and I felt rushed to choose again. I didn't feel like I was getting the best experience prior to my service. After she rush more appointment times to choose from I decided to cancel altogether. Just based on the phone service and how it was handled with a few errors made , I didn't think that my actual experience was going to be enjoyed. read more

My order was placed with the wrong shipping address due to a computer glitch. the company did not respond to my repeated requests to cancel or amend the order. In fact, the customer person was very rude and unhelpful. Purchase your products ELSEWHERE! This company is NOT CUSTOMER-ORIENTED! read more

10/10! Very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. My skin is finally in great hands!

WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM SKINESSENTIALS.COM! I placed an order for sunscreen with SkinEssentials on August 27th. And on that same day, Skinessentials.com took their money from my account. I was forced to chase Skinessentials.com around for more than a week trying to find out when my order will arrive. After 6 emails, some answered some not, I finally heard back from Skin Essentials that my order is supposed to arrive Monday September 8th. That is 12 FULL DAYS FROM WHEN I PLACED MY ORDER AND SKIN ESSENTIALS TOOK MY MONEY. What Skin Essentials does is they lure you in with special prices, one time deals and subscriptions. Then, they take your money and queue up enough orders to send them out in batches. Skin Essentials also uses the WORST shippers on the planet just to save them money. Save yourself the hassle, frustration and the risk of running out of products by buying your skin care products from; Amazon (great prices and reliable delivery), Dermstore or Lovely Skin. All 3 are SO MUCH BETTER than Skinessentials.com. Good luck and steer clear of Skinessentials.com. read more

I had a facial with Shelaine a few days ago and while the facial was fine, I was charged for an add-on that I did not select during the online booking process or request at anytime before or during the service. I did receive the add-on, blue and red light therapy, for about 5-6 minutes total, but did not know this would be an add-on extra charge of $25 until the very end when Shelaine told me my total and it was time to pay. I've had light therapy numerous times at other establishments for at least 20 minutes, so to have to pay $25 for something I didn't ask for and for such a short time (5-6 minutes) just doesn't seem like a good business practice. Clients should be given the option to decline add-on's or just asked in general if this is something they would like as it will be an extra charge. read more

During the pandemic, I had given up on my skin. Adult acne is so real and my skin was suffering. Ever since working on my skin together with Shelaine, my skin has never looked better! I walked in with dull dehydrated skin and left feeling vibrant, supple, hydrated, moisturized and with a lightness I'd not felt or seen in a while. I appreciate that Shelaine explained each step of her process and educated me about products and care in between appointments, and I left much more confident and knowledgeable about my home care routine. Skin is hydrated and brows are immaculate. I have the most sensitive eczema prone skin so it's difficult to find products that work for me. I also get my brows shaped & laminated to perfection. Angelique does it for me every time & I have never questioned her judgement and skill. She knows exactly what my skin needs every time I go in, and I always leave with the most dewy skin. read more

Facial with skin peel. The girl that did my face was very knowledgeable. Chill vibe. Will be going back.

I had an amazing experience with Shelaine. She walked me through product use/application so I am able to continue my skin care routine at home in between appointments. She was able to explain the differences between products based on molecule structure and recommended products for use based on my goals. Can't wait to see her again! read more

Would not recommend!! Worse facial I ever received! Would give 0 stars if I could. The owner of this business required me to submit a credit card where she immediately charged me $105 several days before my scheduled appointment. Therefore, if you get lousy service, which I did, so be it. Too bad. She will not refund or modify the charge under any circumstances, which was my experience. I thought I was booking with the owner when I called and talked to her to schedule. When I got there on the appointment day, I was passed on to her associate. It was too late to cancel at that point, because my card had already been charged with no refunds. My facial was terrible. I was left with untreated, easily extractable white pimples on several areas of my face. I pointed them out during the facial with her associate and was ignored. .The supposed one hour facial was actually 50 minutes, with a good 20 minutes laying under some light wasting time while nothing was being done whatsoever. The owner, who never introduced herself to me, left the salon as soon as I arrived. After I told her associate how unhappy I was when she was finished, she tried to book me another appointment with the owner a month later, with yet another charge to be placed on my credit card. The owner called me 2 hours after I left to ask how I liked the service. I told her I was unhappy and could I please come back and show her my face. The owner proceeded to yell and scream at me over the phone and said she wasn't interested in seeing the condition of my face! She immediately took up for the associate and told me to suck it up and don't come back. So much for good customer service! I am also a senior citizen. Never been treated this way before, ever. You can tell a person's character the way they treat seniors. They will most likely treat others, senior or not, the same way, with patronizing disrespect. After this, I changed my credit card numbers for fear they would try to charge it again. My credit card company suggested this, saying even though I got pitiful service, I did receive it and to try to work it out with the owner. Well, I wasn't given that opportunity whatsoever! In conclusion, I had to pay for another facial with another esthetician who really cares about her customers and the outcome of her services, as it should be if you have an ethical business. P.S. The owner will try to justify her actions by saying I "acted ignorant." I was nothing but polite to her associate, even upon leaving the salon. read more
