Being from Worcester, I can admit we don't exactly have the strongest roast beef sandwich game around here. Sure, you can find a decent one if you really search, but nothing compares to what the North Shore has going on. Up there, roast beef sandwiches aren't just food--they're a whole culture. @whatdidyoueattodaysir introduced me to @bellasroastbeef in North Andover. I was in the area for work, and let me tell you... the hype is real. Piled-high pink beef, soft onion rolls, melty cheese, & the sauces--it's everything a sandwich should be. The balance of flavors, the freshness, & the pure indulgence are unmatched. If you've only ever had a "roast beef sandwich" in Central Mass, you haven't truly experienced the North Shore magic yet. Believe me, it's worth the drive!
I've been wanting to try Bella's for a while now, today was finally the day. It has taken the #1 spot for my favorite North Shore Beef! A perfect amount of beef / sauce / mayo ratio. Beef perfectly cooked. Onion roll slightly toasted. The buffalo wings were also delicious and cooked to order. So happy I finally tried Bellas, can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Bella's is consistently amazing. They make a proper beef 3 way. I took my gf and her daughter for their very first beefs there knowing full well they would be done correctly. The girls up front and Harry are awesome. I let Harry know it was my gf's first time and that it was a hit. They're also very clean, even at night, which is welcomed and impressive! I can't say enough about Bella's!!
Absolutely loved this spot for the roast beef -- it's legit! The horseradish was over the top, adding just the right kick. My girlfriend tried the crispy chicken, which she enjoyed, though she mentioned it could use a bit more seasoning. The portions are generous, and the service was swift and attentive. Can't wait to come back and try more!
When I read voted the best roast beef we had to try it and oh my goodness it was the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. The meat melted in my mouth and the 3 way is the only way to go. Everyone was so friendly and helpful as we weren't sure what to order. The place was hoppin while we were there with no break in customers with a steady line for over an hour until the lunch rush was over. We didn't get there until 1 I can't even imagine how busy they were before then. The food came out quick and the same quality on every order. Huge portions on side dishes. Small place but they have some seating and some standing tables. Thankfully we're here until next week so we can go back again. We can't get this food in the south and being from here we miss it terribly.
Order a super roast beef Very good roast beef sandwich. Beef needed seasoning as lacked flavor and maybe was too rare . But good sandwich 3 way sauce, mayo, cheese... nice onion roll toasted. Side of onion rings very good . Alot of meat . Prices fair for sandwich and rings... Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff thanking you on way out...a nice touch that matters

Bella's is, by far, the best North Shore roast beef we've ever had, and we've had our fair share. We called our order in ahead of time, and it was hot and waiting for us when we arrived. The beef was incredibly tender, piled high, and absolutely drenched in that glorious James River BBQ sauce. Hot, tender, saucy, messy in all the right ways, basically everything a North Shore beef should be. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. We're already dreaming of the next one when we are back in town! read more
This place was recommended by a few people at work. I finally came here for lunch and got what my sources had recommended: roast beef three ways with curly fries. I wasn't too sure about the portion sizes, so I ordered one size above junior - it was a lot of food, but can't complain! Our curly fries were small size. The roast beef (8oz) was really good. We saw them slicing off fresh. The bread was nicely toasted. The three ways of barbecue sauce, mayo, and cheese nicely coated the meat added delicious flavour. I will definitely be back but likely get a junior, no fries. Pricing was decent. read more

Insane "big beef" 3 way on sesame roll. Probably the best roast beef I've ever had. Cooked perfect and so tender it melts in your mouth. Pleasant service and brought them over to the table for us. Will absolutely be back as we just moved to the area. If you're craving a north shore beef this is 100% the spot! read more

Solid beefs! Great staff! Rare roast beef three way super! First one ever and had to swing by on the way home from our vacation. Sucks to live in southern CT because there is nothing like this down there. I have since bought a case of Jimmy sauce. Being the only place I've ever had a NSB might seem biased but once you've had Bella's do you really need to go anywhere else??? read more

First timers here. Had no clue what to order and the menu was extensive. We opted for a Steak Bomb (hot sandwich), a Big Beef 3 way (cold sandwich) and a Super Pastrami (cold sandwich). All three were very tasty, but my favorite was the Steak Bomb. Next time I'd like to try the Meatball Parmesan! The fries were hot and crispy and the battered mushrooms were a ok. Food came out very fast and the portions were decent for todays prices. Staff was very friendly and establishment was clean and tidy. read more

The staff here is so friendly from the time they greet you on the phone to the time you leave with your order. We called on our way to place a lunch order and they were spot on with the amount of time they quoted. I was greeted immediately upon entering even though there were a few people in line ahead of me, paid for my order efficiently and not only were our lunches (two fried haddock dinners with skin on fries and Cole slaw) accurate, they were piping hot, delish and plentiful. I had been here once before for a roast beef sandwich (which was outstanding) and was torn between getting that again or trying their seafood. Either way, you will be pleased! read more

Ordered here multiple times drove half hour away and usually enjoy the beef. Last time we got it, it was bloody so this time we let them know and asked for it not to be bloody. Both sandwiches were so dry and under seasoned. One of them (both 3-way) had no sauce. Called and "Harry" had young cashier tell me that he said he can remake it but we live over a half hour away. "Harry" again spoke through the cashier saying he knows he made them right and there is no other solution. Not impressed with the attitude and service. read more

I really enjoyed the roast beef. Very nicely grilled and buttered bun. Junior 3 way. Good ratio. Flavorful and tender beef, a bit gray but mostly pink throughout. Personal preference maybe a tad more sauce. Competitively priced. Very nice workers inside and over the phone! Friendly and polite and that is always appreciated. read more
