I got the Godfather sub...the large one. It was certainly huge with lots of thin sliced cutlets. There was hardly any cheese in it, and Arugula/Balsami topping was not very good. I wanted Classic cutlet with a good amount of cheese and SAUCE. Without sauce it was very dry. I also got a cutlet dinner and asked for EXTRA SAUCE...if they put extra sauce, I'd hate to imagine not asking for extra. But meal was good and reasonable price. AVOID the Arancini Balls...waste of $$...$7.99 for a ball of rice. I got a cheese, meatball/peas and a spicy sausage/peas. The was 3 peas in each and hardly nothing but rice. Waste of $$$. Heard all the hype about Brando's so just had to check it out. We went on a weekday around lunch time. Small place with 6-8 tables to eat in. We took ours to go. While we were there a gentleman was eating ziti and sauce and was saying how good it was. We ordered a small Chicken Parmesan sub. I am not wild about Chicken Parm so thought I would have a couple bites to try out. I asked for extra sauce before we left and got a small container (something like ketchup would come in) at no charge. When we opened it at home it was a bit shriveled but expected that. The sandwich was fried chicken cutlets, sauce and cheese. We got a regular roll instead of the seeded. All in all, it was OK...a sub. We were not crazy over the taste of the coating. A small sub is about 12 inches and I have heard the large is 24 inches. Most subs are $15.99 to $18.99 for small size, and $21.99 to $27.99 for the large. Can't say how much meat is in the cold cut subs. The Veal Parm is $23.99 for a small and $28.99 for a large. Haven't tried the veal so not sure how tender it is. I was in the area and had heard so many good things about Brandi's that I just had to try it. The place is immaculate, you can tell the owner loves this place. The menu is small, which I think is great. Do a few things really well instead of a ton of things average. I ordered a small chicken parm sandwich on a seeded roll. It can out in a very reasonable amount of time. The small was huge and looked amazing. I wasn't overly impressed by the taste. The sauce was kind of blah and the cutlets didn't have a ton of flavor either. I need to go back and try some of the other dishes and maybe a plain cutlet to really taste it. Brando's Cutlets recently opened in Haverhill on Broadway, close to I-495. Brando's serves up fresh Italian cutlet sandwiches, soups, pasta dishes, salads, and some grab and go rice balls in a hot case. I stopped in for lunch and the place was already very busy. It is moistly take out but there are some tables inside to in house dining. Sandwiches are VERY large - even the small sizes. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich that came with prosciutto, carmelized onions, cheese, arugla and a balsamic glaze. It came on a choice of bread (seeded or non). The sandwich was ready in about 15 minutes. It was very fresh and good quality. I was only able to eat half-and saved the other for later. Service was nice and pleasant. The restaurant is wheelchair accessable-with accessable bathroom, however a wheelchair could not be able to pass down the hallway to the barthoom, due to a large chest freezer in the way. I hope to stop by again soon and try out more menu options. I really just want to taste a cutlet naked or with just sauice and cheese so I can rate just the cutlet it self. Small parking lot in a strip mall, inside there are some tables and chairs. Order at the counter and wait for them to call your name. It's pretty quick and a small sandwich could be enough for two depending on appetite. Chicken cutlets are delicious. read more

OMG this place is amazing....greeted immediately by a friendly young man at the register (this is very important to me, these days the young men and women don't have good communication skills) so I already knew it was going to be a positive experience. We ordered to go and were so excited we forgot to take pictures. We got the chicken parm sub and the chicken alfredo. They were both OUTSTANDING! Huge 2ft subs in the spirit of Benedetti's "rockets." I had the Godfather and the Fuggetaboutit. The later is a fancy name for a chicken parm. Layered chicken cutlets with provolone cheese made the perfect sub. You won't be disappointed with the food here and rhe sesame seed bread is awesome. read more

Very high quality, house-made specialties. Not your average Italian spot. The sandwiches are amazing (and MASSIVE). Particularly enjoyed the spicy Hitman. Good people and good food. Unfortunately they had run out of arancini last time I ordered, so they of course removed them from our bill and gave us a couple of tiramisu on the house in exchange. incredible!!!!!!! they let you pretty much customize however you want here and the workers are so so nice. i got rigatoni and chicken cutlet with mozzarella, vodka sauce, and pesto. one of the the best vodka sauces i've ever had. some places just don't do it right but brandi's definitely DOES. portion was really big, lasted me for 3 meals (so i guess i can kind of excuse it being more expensive than i'd like lol - $24). there were some open tables even with it being busy. read more
