The guy at the front is the son of the new owner from what I understood from my conversation with him. I think he might be the only one to speak English fluently enough to relay finer details of what you want done. I asked for oval shaped nails, not squares, he needed to translate it. She did a fine job on the pedi. Not much to complain about or to be marvel at regarding the pedi. The mani. Oh, the mani. She pinched and cut too deep several times. I'm usually not too squeamish and I normally don't jerk my hand back. I don't want to startle the nail technician with sudden movements, you know, while she or he is holding sharp tools to my fingers. This mani, however, I found myself jerking my hand back several times. The worst part, after all the pain I endured, the mani was very uneven. It had that uneven too thick surface. Even worse? It is well put together too. There are nice couches for sitting while you wait, the pedicure chairs are huge and comfy and look brand new, and the nail stations are clean and organized. There were some rooms in front of the pedicure chairs, I'm assuming were for the waxing services. I'm assuming I met the owner when I went in, he certainly gave off the impression. Color with highlights and lowlights/trim with long layers I…read morewent in the day before and that day I was having a lot of pain and was in a wheelchair and it took the stylist over an hour to mix just the color and she seemed so confused like she had no idea what she was doing so I told them that we had at Shanahan's that would leave me no time to get ready for her to still do my hair so she offered to come back down and curl my hair and make it look nice for us to go out and she said she was going to run up and get her stuff come back and curl my hair and then she just disappeared and she came back down and I was like oh you don't want me to curl your hair. I'm like I don't have time we need to leave. Find out the next time we go in that she told people that I was only down there for a little bit and wasn't happy with the Colour or something and just told her I didn't wanna do it anymore, which is a lie because it took them an hour to cut my husband's hair. He was just finishing coming down to get me and she was just coming down with a color so I made an appointment with Julie who's supposed to be a master stylist which I guess anymore doesn't mean anything. She was so incredibly rude to me. I asked her three times are you sure you're comfortable doing my hair because I don't want anybody who's angry with me or has bad feelings about me touching my hair and you don't seem to like me very much and she kept saying no that's not it. No, that's not it. She called me a liar about the thing that happened The day before with the other girl. I'm like no it did. I can tell you the times but I got here and the times that she came down and she's like well. Let's just move on. I was trying to explain to her the colors that I wanted my hair and she kept telling me that I had to pick one just pick one I'm like I don't want one. I want Auburn in there like on the top and I want to feed into a copper and I want blonde highlights. I know it can be done. I've had it my whole life instead the top of my hair is completely bleached. It look like a skunk and I don't think I've ever been more unhappy with a cut. I came home. I cut my own bangs. I told her that showed her the cut that I wanted. She didn't do that at all. Then when she asked if she could curl my hair, she didn't ask how I curl my hair so she put these tiny tight curls in my hair. I don't wear my hair like that and she got upset that I put my hair in a ponytail. Well to me it look like garbage that's not how I wear my hair, I wore my hair into the salon curly to show them how curly my hair is how much like weight my curl has and that if it has to touch my nose wet, it'll touch my eyebrows dry, but there is no communication between her and I at all and then she still sold me product that I don't think I needed. I used number four and I think that's perfectly fine but she doesn't seem to think so. I would appreciate a call from the owner or someone because I think all in all I was treated very poorly. Oh and their prices.. you should be going to a master stylist Downtown! 365 cut+ color total BS when Rumors ran it I usually paid 180 for the same thing and didn't look like I had rad paint all over my neck and forehead my ears were covered. All it takes is a little bit of baby oil and a cotton ball and it comes right off not to mention she ruined a $200 shirt by being messy and not paying attention to what she was doing and it's because she was so aggravated with me for whatever reason I still don't get it.
