The clock just turned 8 and the manager or supervisor came up and said "we are closed is there anything I can do for you to speed this up?" With a tone. I went into Ultra to purchase a makeup brush. My daughter told me to get IT by Ultra makeup brush to use with my liquid makeup. It also has a cover for the brush. It works beautifully with liquid makeup. I was truly impressed. Glad I bought it. Everyone from the sales clerk to the lady walking around with her black on, were exceptional. I normally love ULTA but didn't have a great experience in this store. They had a rather limited selection of Colourpop and BH Cosmetics. Also, I normally think ULTA is pretty good in terms of customer service but no one even said hello or attempted to assist me until I was literally walking out the door. It was only then that someone asked if I had found everything I was looking for. No, I was looking for a specific BH Cosmetics palette. The staff person tried to help me find it but they just didn't have it in stock. Then as I was leaving she made a comment about how a lot of things were sold out and that she was still "recovering" from Black Friday. I thought that was a tad unprofessional but totally understandable. I ended up just ordering the palette I wanted online. I recently relocated to the area and was in desperate need of a haircut. I have curly hair and so am anxious about who I can trust to give me a decent cut. I was recommended to check out the stylists at this location and scheduled an appointment with Taylor. Oh my gosh - it was phenomenal!!! Her attention to detail transformed my locks from scraggly a la 80s hair band to lively, bouncy, and coiled to perfection. She was friendly and personable and provided great conversation, which was icing on the cake! I relocated from a place with exceptionally high humidity and my hair acts much differently here in this much drier climate - Taylor was able to direct me to several products (in a very NOT pushy way) that can help to keep my hair looking awesome. I'm so happy to report that I've had a great hair day every day since seeing her! I am looking very forward to my next appointment with her and have already scheduled cuts for both of my daughters to see Taylor soon. I came in today looking to add to my makeup collection and felt incredibly uncomfortable in the store. Not one employee even acknowledged me unless I was in their way looking at products. Took my daughter here for her first brow wax and the girl was really sweet and caring. My daughters eyebrows looked great but the wax was too hot and BURNT her skin, she is in a lot of pain and I feel horrible. I have nothing but good experiences at this Ulta. I asked today if the lady at the checkout would help me with my ulta app to merge the 2 accounts I had. It took a min and another lady even said "have her call account services" but she got it done and I had asked someone at a different Ulta and they said they couldn't help me. Another time I had kind of a complicated situation (I was "that person") I felt bad but I had like an exchange and the price needed to be adjusted and there was a long line. She ran into her friend that works there and caught up a little bit, then went and bought some items for the benefit program going on right now. When we purchased an item we were checked out by Clarissa. She was very rude and had an ugly attitude. When we finished purchasing our items, we noticed that she was talking to another coworker about my girlfriend and being super disrespectful, as an employee none of that should come up and the way she was looking and talking about my girlfriend was very unprofessional. My girlfriends friend who works there also noticed this behavior and told us after we left that he also noticed they were talking stuff and also overheard it. This was a very unpleasant visit, and it's employees like that, that make shopping hard. You are responsible for your own decisions and picking this job was one of those decisions. This store/salon is amazing. My friend and I visited the salon for a Galentine's date to get our hair done a few weeks ago. When I called to make an appointment, Sandy was super sweet and was very accommodating. The ladies made our visit a lot of fun, and everyone was friendly. Their customer service in the non-salon portion of the store is also fabulous. Elle helped me out during my entire visit previously, and provided some excellent makeup and skin care recommendations. I went in today to look for a new foundation. The lady with the pink hair was pretty helpful but also a little dismissive. I asked another lady if they had a certain perfume and she said no and was also very dismissive and unhelpful/rude. I ended up finding that same perfume on my own! The only reason I am giving 4 stars on this review is because of Jenna. She was such a sweetheart, so helpful and even though she was wearing a mask, you could tell she was smiling and just happy to be there. You need to hire more people like her and give that girl a damn promotion/raise. Thanks girl for making my experience actually worth spending all that money! I had an amazing experience at Ulta today! It was my sister's 12th birthday and we were looking for some easy makeup products for her to get started with that weren't too heavy. Fharron (sorry if I misspelled that!) was so helpful - she has a daughter so she could tell us from experience what worked best on younger skin. She was so sweet, patient, knowledgable, and really made my sister feel BEAUTIFUL without looking cakey or overdone. The rest of the staff there was super cool too and I think every single person made sure to tell my sister happy birthday before we left. We bought every product Fharron recommended and more! My sister was elated and felt like such a little adult - thank you so much to all the girls (and one very nice gentleman) there. We will definitely be back! read more

She was very helpful, and told me that if for some reason I won't be happy with the stuff I can get a full refund. Just to keep me receipt. I went back in 5days later, to bring cosmetics as they were not a great fit for me, lady at the cashier offered store credit saying that without the boxes that's their policy. I walked into this store to get a gift bag, or at least a perfume set, for a friend on our way to Vail. No frills, just a quick stop and back on the road. While I've just come in from picking up my stepdaughter and from Denver International an hour before, I wasn't looking raggedy, but presentable, airport casual still. I asked a sales associate if they had gift bags or if he could help me assemble one. He, no kidding, asked if my price point for a set was $20, as though I had just rolled out from a storm drain. I said, "Um, no..." and before I could finish he asked, "Lower?" I looked at him with a WTF expression and he immediately responded, "$35?" Are you fucking kidding me?
