They always have what I need and you can always find someone to help you. I love that they take happy returns now and you get a discount on in-store purchases. I have been a Sephora client for a long time, but my recent interactions are changing me to an Ulta client. read more

I had a makeover by Aliscia. She was very professional as well as friendly. I let her do what she wanted and it turned out fantastic. She put me at ease just by asking my opinion about the look. She explained what she was using and why. The other employees that I encountered were just as friendly and offered their help. As a transgender female in progress I was kind of nervous entering the store but went away as soon as I entered the store read more

I was trying to remember what my color foundation was in the brand I was looking at . The clock just turned 8 and the manager or supervisor came up and said "we are closed is there anything I can do for you to speed this up?" With a tone. I was in the store 7 mins was all and didn't realize they closed at 8 . There were also other people in the store. I work in customer service I just thought that was rude. I also waited awhile in line and after that comment you think she would have helped people cash out instead of rushing people out the door and staring at us to hurry. I read the other comments and it seems to be a problem here with rude staff And management. read more

I have never visited this location and I am super disappointed. For being a beautiful store positive helpful customer service is severely lacking. I have never seen such distant unhelpful employees. Nobody seems to like their job, no smiles , no good vibe whatsoever. I needed help finding a new mascara, and the person I found would not even move . She stayed pointing into the direction to go find a certain mascara like over ten feet away she could not even take two seconds to show me Some new products or suggestions. l was definitely bothering her in that moment and it completely created an uncomfortable feeling as well. the look on this associates face was expressionless, rude , looked angry and completely annoyed. It is some of the worst retail sales experience I have ever witnessed. Samantha the cashier was a sweetie though . read more

I went in and bought a Cosmic Kylie Jenner perfume because with a purchase of $85+, you got a free red purse. After I pay, I asked for the bag. To my surprise, the cashier told me they were out. That the promotion was only until the item lasts. If they are aware about no longer having the red purse in stock, they should've taken down the promotion sign. It's false advertisement. read more

Regular staff was friendly and welcoming, however the manager on duty was extremely unprofessional. When asked to handle various issues regarding THEIR OWN SALE/PROMOTION SIGNS, he was highly passive aggressive and condescending when addressing the issues. Didn't provide much help or assistance, all he did was belittle the customers. Horrible experience, would like to see improvement in management but know it's unlikely. read more

Jetta was great! She helped color match foundation and concealer for me and took her time to go over which would be best for acne.

Worst customer service ever! Bella is so rude! She is not friendly what so ever. She doesn't greet you, ask if you found everything ok, stares at you blankly without saying anything. She doesn't like if you want to use points or coupon. She has the worst attitude. If you are so miserable at your job just quit girly, your bad ass attitude makes you ugly inside and out. read more

I went into Ultra to purchase a makeup brush. My daughter told me to get IT by Ultra makeup brush to use with my liquid makeup. It also has a cover for the brush. It works beautifully with liquid makeup. I was truly impressed. Glad I bought it. Everyone from the sales clerk to the lady walking around with her black on, were exceptional. I love Denver and the employees at Ultra. Ten stars. :-) read more

Loveee this location! Mayra was soo helpful and definitely gave me and my mother what we were looking for. Not only was she so knowledgeable, but she was able to communicate with my mother in Spanish. Management, definitely doing a great job!!!!! read more

I normally love ULTA but didn't have a great experience in this store. They had a rather limited selection of Colourpop and BH Cosmetics. Also, I normally think ULTA is pretty good in terms of customer service but no one even said hello or attempted to assist me until I was literally walking out the door. It was only then that someone asked if I had found everything I was looking for. No, I was looking for a specific BH Cosmetics palette. The staff person tried to help me find it but they just didn't have it in stock. Then as I was leaving she made a comment about how a lot of things were sold out and that she was still "recovering" from Black Friday. I thought that was a tad unprofessional but totally understandable. I ended up just ordering the palette I wanted online. A bit of a wait but better than dealing with low inventory and exhausted employees. read more

I recently relocated to the area and was in desperate need of a haircut. I have curly hair and so am anxious about who I can trust to give me a decent cut. I was recommended to check out the stylists at this location and scheduled an appointment with Taylor. Oh my gosh - it was phenomenal!!! Her attention to detail transformed my locks from scraggly a la 80s hair band to lively, bouncy, and coiled to perfection. She was friendly and personable and provided great conversation, which was icing on the cake! I relocated from a place with exceptionally high humidity and my hair acts much differently here in this much drier climate - Taylor was able to direct me to several products (in a very NOT pushy way) that can help to keep my hair looking awesome. I'm so happy to report that I've had a great hair day every day since seeing her! I am looking very forward to my next appointment with her and have already scheduled cuts for both of my daughters to see Taylor soon. I would absolutely recommend Taylor to anyone seeking a curly cut or haircut in general! read more

This is the third time I've walked into this store location. Not having learned my lesson the first two times I went in. I asked an employees for assistance. After she turned to look at me and looked at me up and down, she finally responds with "just a second". When the product was right in front of her face. She was in my way so I couldn't reach for it. I used to like coming to últa instead of MAC b cause Mac has THE WORST cust Serv EVER! This ulta has now gone down to that level. Stuck up racist B's! read more

What is it with the aggressive check out tactics at this store? Is it not enough that I am buying your overpriced cosmetics? Apparently not, because when i get to the counter I'm hounded into giving a phone number (pro tip: not everyone cares about your stupid points system and we all know you just want to track your customers purchases). I have to update my address, get up sold four different things, THEN I have to get the credit card spiel! I just want to buy my frigging mascara and leave people!! Calm down with the sales tactics! read more

I came in today looking to add to my makeup collection and felt incredibly uncomfortable in the store. Not one employee even acknowledged me unless I was in their way looking at products. They seemed more concerned with conversing about acupuncture and ignoring me. I actually did need help but felt I couldn't ask without being judged. I shouldn't have to come into a store all dolled up to be approached. I also came in to get my birthday gift on my birthday and the cashier seemed even annoyed I asked. I love the products at ulta stores, but the employees always seem to be judgmental. read more

Wish i couldn't give ZERO stars. Today I went to Ulta at the orchard. WORST STORE EXPERIENCE EVER. Everyone was so rude, not helpful at all. I asked two different ladies questions and I was so brushed off and they didn't even try to answer my questions. The only one who seemed to even be actually working was the brow girl, everyone else's was literally just talking to each other and the mangers were more concerned about who's going to lunch. I have nothing but good experiences at this Ulta. I asked today if the lady at the checkout would help me with my ulta app to merge the 2 accounts I had. It took a min and another lady even said "have her call account services" but she got it done and I had asked someone at a different Ulta and they said they couldn't help me. Another time I had kind of a complicated situation (I was "that person") I felt bad but I had like an exchange and the price needed to be adjusted and there was a long line. The manager had to be called and she was so cool and the cashier was so patient and nice. Love this Ulta! read more

I just bought a $44 eyeshadow palette and it had a security device on it that had to be removed. The associate who rung me out forgot to give me my palette and I didn't realize until I got home and it's snowing pretty badly outside. I don't think she did it on purpose but it was disappointing to get home and see that it was missing! Not the end of the world, I'll just call when they open to see if it's there still. read more

Today me and my girlfriend walked in and did some shopping. She ran into her friend that works there and caught up a little bit, then went and bought some items for the benefit program going on right now. When we purchased an item we were checked out by Clarissa. She was very rude and had an ugly attitude. When we finished purchasing our items, we noticed that she was talking to another coworker about my girlfriend and being super disrespectful, as an employee none of that should come up and the way she was looking and talking about my girlfriend was very unprofessional. My girlfriends friend who works there also noticed this behavior and told us after we left that he also noticed they were talking stuff and also overheard it. This was a very unpleasant visit, and it's employees like that, that make shopping hard. You are responsible for your own decisions and picking this job was one of those decisions. Very unprofessional and won't be visiting any time soon. read more

No stars if possible! Terrible customer service, no one is ever available to help. Even when you see a group of them just chatting it up at the register. It took me awhile to find what I was looking for and the promotion said it was on sale so I figured 'Why not, I'll try it.' When I got to the register, it rang full price. I asked if it was on sale and the girl said no "it's no longer on sale. Someone probaably forgot to take the sign down. Happens all the time" didnt offer to help me find another option or send me in the right direction to look again. So I left. Pretty rude! I work in retail as well. If the display says it's a sale item, you match the price for your customer! It's not the customers fault that you forgot to remove the sign. That's on the staff. read more

This store/salon is amazing. My friend and I visited the salon for a Galentine's date to get our hair done a few weeks ago. When I called to make an appointment, Sandy was super sweet and was very accommodating. The ladies made our visit a lot of fun, and everyone was friendly. Their customer service in the non-salon portion of the store is also fabulous. Elle helped me out during my entire visit previously, and provided some excellent makeup and skin care recommendations. Though this location is further from my house than the one in Brighton, I would not hesitate to come back and drive the extra miles ~ I am always happy when I leave this store! read more

Without exception, I have never been helped with anything while I shop here. It is the closest Ulta to my house, so the most convenient. I seek help/advice when I am there because There is so much to choose from, but they apparently staff poorly and it always means waiting a long time for someone to be available. One day I even went in right when they opened thinking I might get assistance. But there was only one person in the store and she said she could not leave the register. And it is just this store because when I go to the store off of 104th, I always get helped right away read more

Went there for a couple specific things. Immediately bombarded by a women telling me all my flaws trying to sell me new products. Then the women at the register was extremely rude and unfriendly. Didn't realize the product I grabbed was a tester cause it was fully packaged so she had someone get me a new one that I believe was the actual tester because it was unpackaged and not full. I didn't realize until I was home and too late. Will never go back to this place. read more

I went in today to look for a new foundation. The lady with the pink hair was pretty helpful but also a little dismissive. I asked another lady if they had a certain perfume and she said no and was also very dismissive and unhelpful/rude. I ended up finding that same perfume on my own! The only reason I am giving 4 stars on this review is because of Jenna. She was such a sweetheart, so helpful and even though she was wearing a mask, you could tell she was smiling and just happy to be there. You need to hire more people like her and give that girl a damn promotion/raise. Thanks girl for making my experience actually worth spending all that money! You can't expect to sell expensive make up when most of the staff has a crap attitude. :-) read more

I had an amazing experience at Ulta today! It was my sister's 12th birthday and we were looking for some easy makeup products for her to get started with that weren't too heavy. Fharron (sorry if I misspelled that!) was so helpful - she has a daughter so she could tell us from experience what worked best on younger skin. She was so sweet, patient, knowledgable, and really made my sister feel BEAUTIFUL without looking cakey or overdone. The rest of the staff there was super cool too and I think every single person made sure to tell my sister happy birthday before we left. We bought every product Fharron recommended and more! My sister was elated and felt like such a little adult - thank you so much to all the girls (and one very nice gentleman) there. We will definitely be back! read more

I was looking for a new regimen, a lady who was already after her work hours helped me out and explained how to use the cosmetics. She was very helpful, and told me that if for some reason I won't be happy with the stuff I can get a full refund. Just to keep me receipt. I went back in 5days later, to bring cosmetics as they were not a great fit for me, lady at the cashier offered store credit saying that without the boxes that's their policy. No one mentioned boxes to me before. When you offer your client new product, mention the boxes that they should keep just in case.. read more

Showed up for my 1015 blowout I booked online to be turned away and basically dismissed because they didn't have my booking in their system and apparently this happens all the time not only was the staff rude and accommodating me didn't even offer to rebook my next appointment or future appointment. As I walked around and picked up some needed merchandise I had to listen to floor associates talk about their terrible relationships with their significant others no customer service no help on The sales floor at all the one nice person was the cashier. I walked into this store to get a gift bag, or at least a perfume set, for a friend on our way to Vail. No frills, just a quick stop and back on the road. While I've just come in from picking up my stepdaughter and from Denver International an hour before, I wasn't looking raggedy, but presentable, airport casual still. I asked a sales associate if they had gift bags or if he could help me assemble one. He, no kidding, asked if my price point for a set was $20, as though I had just rolled out from a storm drain. I said, "Um, no..." and before I could finish he asked, "Lower?" I looked at him with a WTF expression and he immediately responded, "$35?" Are you fucking kidding me?
