When we got home I checked my credit card app and saw that La Quinta charged me for the entire stay even though it was prepaid through Expedia. After calling the hotel 3 times over the past week, they still haven't reversed the charge so now I have to dispute the charge through my credit card app. Has anyone else experienced something similar with La Quinta in SLO? Seems like a sketchy way to do business and now I'm wondering if this is something that they get away with since a lot of people don't frequently check their charges to see if they've been double charged by the third party booking site and La Quinta. As soon as they started digging, I could tell these guys were experienced professionals. They dug the holes properly, mixed the native soil with planting soil, added gypsum, and carefully planted and staked the trees--some of them over 8 feet tall. They worked efficiently, carefully, and professionally throughout the entire job. The real test came during the following weeks, when Roseville experienced triple-digit temperatures day after day. Of course, I made sure the trees were properly watered, but I'm very pleased to say that all eleven trees have done extremely well.
