A girlfriend and I decided to do a spa day. I had no idea where to go, but she suggested Ritual. I found two appointments on their website and booked them a few weeks prior. You must hold the appts with a CC, but no deposit is needed. Parking was pretty easy to find. I found parking right away across the street. We started off with my massage therapist asking what type of pressure I prefer. I said I like it hard. No pain, no gain. Get those knots out. And since I work at a computer all day, I told her I carry a lot of tension in my neck shoulders. After voicing that, I did find my massage felt more like a relaxing swedish massage. The pressure wasn't that hard. One thing I did note, they start on your feet but don't wash their hands afterwards when they move on to the rest of you. I kinda found that a little weird. I mean, I did just shower before I showed up, but still. I will never say no to a massage so glad my gf and I did this. Tho I wish I spoke up more during the massage. Completely my fault so I won't dock them for that. Still a nice relaxing experience. REVIEW #3923

PLEASE BE CAREFUL SHE WILL TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT MONEY IF YOU TRY TO ADJUST YOUR APT!!!!…read more SHE HAS CONTINUOUSLY HARASSED ME FROM HER PERSONAL NUMBER WHICH I HAD TO BLOCK. SHE THEN DECIDED TO CONTACT ME FROM ANOTHER NUMBER. THIS HAS GONE ON FOR 3 WEEKS NOW I wanted to like Anna as she comes off as sweet and does a decent job with waxing. But as they say you get what you pay for. When I tried to reschedule the day before due to having my car under maintenance (I even sent her proof of my receipt) she said she would take my deposit and charge me extra for a different day. She sent me her policy which you can see clearly states below nothing regarding rescheduling prior to your apt day. She then argued with me, updated her policy and blamed me for messing with her income. This is not only unprofessional but distasteful. Anna continued to tell me that I shouldn't be canceling (which I wasn't doing) because it hurts her business. After I told her I won't be coming back she doesn't get the clue and will continue to harass you. I've never experienced anything like this from a business provider before. I also worked in customer service my entire life. I hope Anna can get a grip and learn how to run her business with more professionalism. Taking clients money without having clear guidelines about changing appointments is essentially stealing.

I asked Lupita, the lady who answered the phone, if I can see the spa before I booked the party package and she said that was no problem. The spa is stunning, serene, clean, and filled with tenured professionals who have been working there for decades and clearly never stopped loving what they do! I booked the spa party as a grand finale to my friend's bachelorette party and for our entire stay we could not stop raving about how perfect the spa was and how adorable Miss Lupita is!!!!
