The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! The Pinot Noir flight is absolutely incredible, and each one has a story. While pouring for us, we got to hear about each winemaker. It really enhanced the experience and made us feel even better about shopping local. The outdoor patio has amazing views of the rolling hills and mountains off in the distance. They allow dogs on the deck, so that was a good bonus. Definitely will return soon! read more

They have potential! This place is relatively new. The owners are in the tasting room serving wine and also on the grounds making the place look fancy. They are really friendly people. The wine is alright. I liked the Gris-iesling was awesome...mix of a Gris and a reisling. They had 3 Pinot nois they were pouring that were each made by a different wine maker from the same grapes. They were pretty good but I think they will improve with time. They are still working on the grounds and tasting room. read more

Cannot say enough amazing this winery. My husband and I joined back in January and it is our favorite place!! My parents have now joined and friends that we have taken there absolutely love it and always buy bottles of wine. I can honestly say there is not one bottle of wine I don't like. The views are amazing. The owner Steve is sooo down to earth and personable and it's so clear how much he loves the wine industry, it's truly his passion and it shows. The View is amazing, even on a ugly-Oregon-weather day, it is still gorgeous out there! And, the tasting room is new and beautiful as well. The tasting fee is spendy at $20/person to taste, and then to waive the fee you have to purchase 6 bottles, which is a little steep in my book. My friends and I just chose one bottle that we thought we would like it, split that 3 ways and enjoyed the scenery and enjoyed drinking the bottle on the premises. That was a more economical way of doing things, but you don't get to sample everything on the negative side. This winery was interesting, we just happened to wonder upon it, but it is an interesting idea, where they supply their grapes to different winemakers, and you can compare what they produce. Great winery, with breathtaking scenic views of Dundee Hills AVA. Allison, one of the owners, was very friendly! Try some of their trademark Gris-Ling, or a selection of Pinot Noirs. They are currently in the midst of a remodel of their main building, but it is going to be fantastic when finished!!! Also, beware their driveway is extremely steep, very long, and mostly gravel. we found Bella Vida by accident after having a less then great experience at a over produced jammy Vineyard next door. on the way up the drive way i knew i would love this place because it had a sign saying no tour buses. When ever a tasting room is in someones garage you know its going to be good and it was. the Gris-ling is a perfect blend and the idea of using three different vintners to make wine from the same Vineyard was just great, And best of all the the people working there truly love making good wine and taking care of the land that gives them wine. best Vineyard of the trip read more

Bella Vida was one of our favorite wineries after our visit to Willamette Valley. We were warmly welcomed by Allison. $10 tasting fee (not waived with purchase) for a sample of 4 wines. We loved all 4 samples but especially, their unique Gris-Ling (their take on Pinot Gris and Riesling). We loved their 3 Pinot Noir's so much that we purchased their special pack of 3 for $95. We enjoyed the 3 different wine makers take on Pinot Noir and couldn't decide on just one. The views are stunning up here, if you can deal with the steep, curvy road. The young boy who was serving was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Little to no information was giving during the tasting. He seemed hostile, not sure if he was just having a bad day, however his behavior left us all with a bad taste. We were looking forward to enjoying the lovely view and, hopefully, lovey wine, but ended up cutting our visit short. Disappointing, to say the least. read more

Today started out to be rainy, so I didn't know what to expect from the wineries we went to, which were all ones we had never visited before. Our first stop was Bella Vida, and by the time we got there, the clouds were amazing, and well worth the steep driveway, as the view from the winery was breathtaking. We started with Grisl-ling, and then tried three Pinot Noir's that were all made from Bella Vida's rapes, but different vintners produced them. Very interesting experiment. Who would know that the same grapes would be so different in the hands of different wine producers. I would definitely go there again. read more

I went to Bella Vida with 3 of my friends. The view was beautiful but the service was awful. The owner, Allison (I think) was incredibly rude. We walked onto their patio and there was a little bistro table which we sat at. While I was ordering our bottle of wine she yells to her husband to have us move in the corner so were not obstructing the view for other customers. About 15 minutes later she comes out and asks us to move. She said she wants her guests to be able to have a clear view of the vineyard and we were blocking it. Keep in mind we were the ONLY customers in the tasting room the whole time we were there (an hour), no other customers came in during this period. Our entire visit the owner was more concerned about other customers while she should have been treating her actual paying customers a lot better. I'll never visit this tasting room again. And I'll clearly never recommend it to any of my friends. read more

The drive up the hill was a little scary, but being that it was summertime, and we were in a smaller vehicle, not really dangerous at all! The drive up was totally worth it! The view from the tasting room was amazing, beautiful balcony to walk on, and even a bocce ball court. The wines were wonderful - we especially enjoyed the 3 pinot noirs that they had done by three separate wine makers with the same grapes from 2011. It was nice to meet one of the winemakers - Allison. We ended up purchasing the 2011 pinot noir - "Tardy" to lay down for our 5th anniversary since we are getting married next year. read more

Bella Vida responded with a warm welcome and a kind offer of support to an unanticipated set back on our day of wine touring yesterday. We arrived to the beautiful setting at Bella Vida on a blue sky day, determined to enjoy some wine with our pups on the deck. We shortly discovered we had a leak in our tire which required we put on the spare. Scott greeted us, welcomed our dogs and kindly offered to assist with our tire. He directed us to the deck to enjoy some of their lovely pinots. Scott and Steven were so wonderful, helpful and accommodating. Nobody ever plans to have a flat tire on a day of ambitious wine tasting adventures and yet they saved the day while allowing us to enjoy their lovely wines in the sun and let the stress fall away. Bella Vida excited me from the start with a beautiful entrance and hilltop vineyard. Although the building is not quite finished, it was a great place to stop into for a while and enjoy the view. The combination of three different winemakers makes the wine tasting unique. Very friendly staff and a great 2009 Pinot Noir. read more
