When I went to lay down on the massage table I ended up stubbong my toe on the table . Then when it was time to do the massage the person doing the massage ended up hurting herself also on hitting the table. Once she started doing the massage she could not see me . When she did she only concentrated on on my back and no other part of my body ( legs, arms) then when it was time to pay they want more than what was advertised . Have not and will not go back

I loved it as well. While it had the luxury trappings, it was smaller than I had anticipated. Nonetheless, my massage was excellent. The atmosphere was very calm and serene. I felt like I was the only person in the world. I was happy that they offer appointments on Sunday, which is super convenient. I also liked that when I paid by Visa, I wasn't prompted to tip the therapist. (I still did though, because I had a fantastic session.)

The first time it happened it was one nail and only a week and a half since the appt. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. Makes sense as I've never ever had these issues in the past 5ish years since I turned to gel. Such a shame because it's lovely inside and does have a soft soothing vibe. So mad :(

This by NO means was a manicure. It was a very poor polish application at best. Not a single cream or lotion was applied to my hands, no massage, no special treatment whatsoever. After explaining I had grown out my nails and would like them filed slightly, my manicurist proceeded to CUT my nails and nail length was COMPLETELY cut off. I mean.. there is nothing feminin about my nails anymore. All length is GONE. The polish, which is a powder based application looks very sloppy and THICK. So far above my nails and so far from my cuiticles it looks ridiculous and grown out. Not to mention uneven and not smooth at all. I am quite honestly heartbroken. I rarely get my nails done and was so excited to have them done for an event I have tomorrow. Now I am left embarrassed to show my hands. I was greeted right away by the owner (William) and I booked 3 appointments. Sis-in-law and wife opted for facials instead of massages. They raved about the service and have been looking for a place exactly like this (superior quality of the procedure and extractions)! In the DC area, we've had no luck... Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. The experience includes a charcuterie board, s'mores kits to toast on the firepit, unlimited tea, coffee and cucumber water... and you can add on soups as well. Bring your own wine (corkage fee). We went for 5pm so we would experience it both in daylight and then at night under the stars. Romantic and cozy. Staff were great too. Highly highly recommend. Well worth the drive to Cobourg. Next time we will extend an hour (extra $60) plus maybe add a couples massage beforehand!
