This place is a scam. They said they are RMTs and now won't provide receipt for insurance after I paid.

I'll start by saying that the service providers are wonderful. I have my favourite massage…read moretherapist, facial person, wax person etc but the management team is horrible to deal with. Incredibly inflexible. Two examples 1. They have a sign on the door outlining symptoms e.g. fever cough/cold flu etc then don't come in. I called to cancel once and they in turn told me they were charging me so I said forget the cancellation if you want me there that's fine with me. A manager calls me back immediately "don't come if you are sick, we won't charge you" 2. I called today to inquire if they could kindly ask my massage therapist to come in early 10-15 mins next Thursday (I am her first appointment of the day but I need to scoot out sooner than I thought) so instead of cancelling or shortening my session, I thought it was worth just checking to see if she was willing to come in 10-15 mins earlier. If she says no, then ok I'll cancel, if she says yes then what's the big deal management? Oh they'd have to pay her an extra 15 mins, eh? I can cover that 15 mins with a bigger tip so she still starts on your clock at your "scheduled" start time, but no, they won't even ask her because they have hard rules. it's ridiculous because it impacts no other client. I'm still within my window to cancel and they may not get a backfill (they probably will but it's a chance they take because of their inflexibility). Seriously not flexible here at all. I have taken all my services elsewhere now (biweekly waxing, facials etc) except massages because I like the service provider as I mentioned. I know others who have left this spa too.

This was a mistake from start to finish. I was in pain and the usual places I would go to were…read moreboth unavailable so I looked here in Yelp for the next closest place and Daisy Spa popped up. I called and they were available right away. When I asked their prices they were higher than my usual places so I felt that it was legit. I couldn't have been more wrong. Red Flag #1: Entry is at the rear of the plaza, not the street side. Red Flag #2: She asked for payment up front. I was supposed to get $20 change but she said since I'm the first customer she would have to go to the store next door to get my change Red Flag #3: Calls me "baby" Red Flag #4-99: The massage was really just her gliding her hands over my body with baby oil. When I asked for harder she went from gliding to literally pounding. She complained that "I'm not strong". At this point I was ready to leave and then she asked me to turn over. Here she says that she pays for the room and that she wants a $20 "tip" (the $20 I was supposed to get in change). She tells me she will give me pleasure for the $20, or not, either way she was keeping the $20. I declined. I was sore and came for pain, not a handy. Then she became abusive and tried to talk me up for more money. She said "I want you happy" so I said, give me my money back. At this point I was so mad I just got up and left. So if you want a handy from a random woman then this is a place you can go to. Be prepared to be robbed though.

I'm so disappointed because I wanted this place to be my "go to" now that I'm in Pickering. The…read moreambiance is lovely, it's clean, organized etc. I went 3x since September for manis & pedis, but have constantly had issues. My nails fall off (as you can see in the photo). The first time it happened it was one nail and only a week and a half since the appt. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. Makes sense as I've never ever had these issues in the past 5ish years since I turned to gel. Such a shame because it's lovely inside and does have a soft soothing vibe. So mad :(

Service was quick and friendly (by the…read moretechnician - the woman at the front desk couldn't care less) however, I'm really disappointed with the quality of the "manicure". The shellac has air bubbles on three nails, the colour density is inconsistent and I had to reshape my nails once I got home. It's only been a week and and the shellac is already lifting and chipping. I've had A LOT better for a lot less. I won't be back.
