I also liked that when I paid by Visa, I wasn't prompted to tip the therapist. (I still did though, because I had a fantastic session.)

I confirmed back a time via e-mail and even received a reminder e-mail 24 hours before my appointment. LOCATION It is right off of Bayly - note it's not located in the condo towers but rather next to them in the townhouses, street-facing. Parking is street parking - I had no problem finding a spot on a Tuesday evening but I can imagine it might be a challenge during the weekend. FIRST IMPRESSION When you walk it, it's absolutely stunning - classy decor, very clean and very chic. It's very small (one treatment room) however it's done up amazing. I was met by Yao (my massage therapist) and had a quick health questionnaire to complete. MASSAGE QUALITY Amazing! I had a 90 minute massage done and it was completely worth it. Yao focused on my problem areas (shoulders, neck, upper back) and also accommodated my requests (no feet - I have an issue with ppl touching my feet!) and also made adjustments to the pillows so it was more comfortable. The massage cream used was also very nice - lightly scented (not too overpowering) and not too greasy. OVERALL I have found my go-to massage place in Pickering (have been looking for awhile). The hours are fantastic and they are open 7 days a week. Because there's only one treatment room, you feel like it's your own personal spa - no hearing other people walking/talking, getting their massage done...extremely personal and private. I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 for a new nail (I call that out because they don't do fixes for free). The second time it was 3 nails so I complained and they did them for free. The third time I had 2 nails pop off within 4 to 5 days after my appointment. I didn't bother going back! I went to a new place today and was told that it's because the person who was doing them is doing them super super THICK that it leads to the whole nail popping off. Makes sense as I've never ever had these issues in the past 5ish years since I turned to gel. Such a shame because it's lovely inside and does have a soft soothing vibe. So mad :(

Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. We went for 5pm so we would experience it both in daylight and then at night under the stars. Romantic and cozy. Staff were great too. Highly highly recommend. Well worth the drive to Cobourg. Next time we will extend an hour (extra $60) plus maybe add a couples massage beforehand!
