I had an absolutely awful experience with this flooring company and would never recommend them to…read moreanyone. From the very beginning, the process was stressful and unprofessional. They asked for a deposit upfront and said the rest would be due once the job was finished but the owner kept asking for more money every few days throughout the project. It felt like they were more focused on getting paid than doing the job correctly. I have a large home, and they repeatedly ordered less material than needed, which caused constant delays. I had to go back and forth with them far more than any customer ever should. Even after all that, the quality of the work was terrible. As you can see in my photos, the floors are cracking, there are gaps between the vinyl planks, and it's clear they did not check if the subfloor was level before installing. The carpet seams are also visible. They didn't put any trim molding between the carpet and vinyl floor. When I contacted Tom about the issues, he told me to send the pictures to his daughter. I did, but they never replied and never came back to fix the problems. It has only been three years, and I now have to completely tear out the flooring and replace it all over again. They rushed through the installation just to get the job done and collect the money, without any real care for quality or long-term results. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

In one case, we were asking a man in the back about flooring, because we were seriously shopping for flooring. The man literally stood up from his desk and walked away never to be found again. We were the only people in the store. In this instance, we ended up at "Haus of Flooring" 20 minutes later and booked our floors. Today was an entirely different experience. We were immediately greeted and got super service from Tammy. She was beyond helpful and was the head merchandiser, so she knew exactly where all of her stock was kept. She was very easy to talk to and eager to take care of her customers. We chose a beautiful King Size Quilt Set for our cabin. It was 20% off for "Black Friday (all month) Sale". She arranged for me to take the set home to try out on the bed and she took our information. She simply asked me to call her if it was right, or bring it back if we weren't perfectly satisfied. We loved it and have happily decided to keep it. What a wonderful change in customer service. Thank you Tammy.

They installed the new flooring throughout our house, including our beautiful dark staircase and the entire second floor, and the results exceeded every expectation. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and every detail was completed with precision and care. From the very beginning, Javier and his team were professional, friendly, respectful, and incredibly accommodating. They listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it. They worked efficiently, finished the project quickly, kept everything clean, and made the entire process stress-free. What impressed us just as much as the quality of their work was the value they provided. We received several estimates before choosing Javier, and his price was about one-third of what other contractors quoted us. Because of that, we spent only about half of the remodeling budget we had set aside, without sacrificing quality. In fact, the workmanship exceeded what we expected. Our new floors and staircase have completely transformed our home. We've already received so many compliments from family and friends, and we couldn't be more grateful. If you're looking for someone who delivers exceptional craftsmanship, honesty, reliability, affordability, and truly cares about the final result, I wholeheartedly recommend Javier Montero and his team. They deserve every one of these five stars. Thank you, Javier and your entire team, for making our home even more beautiful. We found Don & his team when our other contractor bowed out due to illness. What a find he is!…read moreWhile we waited for plans to finalize, we asked to commission a painter. He sent the best. We felt every sub contractor Don utilized on our project from that painter through completion was clean, timely and fantastic. We did a small addition (closet, bathroom, laundry room) which required removing a dead tree, retaining walls, doors & windows, roofing, siding, insulation, plumbing electrical and tile work. We never had an issue passing inspection. Since Don lives on the mountain, he was helpful to us as newbies. He recommended product choices based on durability, etc. He offered remedies to the aging home's prior projects that weren't done safely or correctly. When we discovered that a gopher had loaded the existing bathroom wall with tons of dirt, he had a solution and expert to remedy the situation. As other issues arose in our aging home, he offered options without sales pressure as to what would serve us best in the long run, always making the final decision our choice. Safety and durability seem to be top priorities. We appreciated how he guided us through the process. The quality of his workmanship, the timely meetings and billing schedules all made for a relatively seam free small project, even when mountain living & mother nature created challenges.
