I've gotten massages here and there throughout the years but it wasn't until I started getting older that I realized I needed to take better care of my body. I had just found a place in the Bay Area that I was regularly going to when I moved to Sacramento. Luckily a friend recommended John and I'm blown away by his expertise. The first time I met him, I told him I needed everything worked on and he immediately found my number one problem spot. Since then, I've been going regularly and I feel like we are making progress on my all the damage that I have (and am currently) doing to my body with my terrible posture and ergonomics. I'm working on trying to treat my body better so it will last me a long time and John is part of my team to make that happen.

I mean they went through the normal procedures for patients who have chest pain, but to see how quickly they got her issue resolved was very impressive to me. Yes we stayed there from 6pm to about 10pm, but that tells me that they were very thorough. From the time we got there until the time we left they were very attentive to her. They took blood a couple of times and also did EKG's a couple of times as well. Being someone who just moved to the Folsom area, we weren't 100% sure on who to go with. They advised to have my wife follow up with her PCP due to they didnt find any Heart Attack symptoms. So let me start off by saying Thank you Mercy Hospital. Your Staff, your attentiveness to my wife didnt go unnoticed and it was very appreciated how well you cared for her. If we need any further Health Care, we will be back.

Upon arrival they checked me in and immediately called me to the billing staff to get my insurance information by the way I pay for my Insurance I'm not a leach on society like all the rest of the tweakers and the morbidly obese in the waiting room. After an hour, they did a blood test to check for cardiac enzymes after two hours. They did a chest x-ray. After three hours They did a CT with contrast. Add about five hours I was thinking it was strange that I still haven't heard anything and haven't even seen a doctor and I'm still sitting in the waiting room while a nurse is playing Dr on me next to tweakers and Folsom's finest lowlifes. They brought me behind a curtain again in the general waiting area and told me they needed to draw more blood at this point I asked them to remove the IV catheter because I intended on going home the phlebotomist went and retrieved the nurse and I asked her to remove the IV catheter. I told her I do not feel comfortable having her play Dr in the waiting room. At this point, she got frustrated with me and told me I was refusing medical service which I replied nicely. I don't believe I've received much medical service nor has anyone talk to me or told me what's going on for 5 1/half hours she also told me if I went home with the IV in my arm she would send the police to my house. I'm no expert in the HIPAA rules, but I believe her telling the police I have IV in my arm would probably be a violation of this. Finally, after some debate, she removed the IV catheter and I went home. I have been to hospitals in Third World countries which are much Cleaner and throw than this hospital and the total cost of the visit was less than my co-pay. I would never go here again. If you're in an ambulance getting transported and they say they're taking you to Folsom mercy kick the back door open and push the gurney out on the highway. I can promise you will have much better luck than the waiting room nurse playing Dr in a petri dish of nastiness, they call a waiting room. The major problem with this hospitals emergency room is that they wear you down and make you never wanna come back how many people die every year because they had such a bad experience of Folsom mercy and decided to stay home instead of go to the emergency room when they need medical attention. Don't be one of those people go to a different hospital and see an actual doctor in an actual hospital room not a nurse playing Dr in a waiting room. For those of you who voted for Obama care I hope you go to this hospital you cause this mess. By the way, I should've checked the Yelp reviews they only had 2 1/2 stars the lithium battery that I purchased on Amazon and it caught fire in my living room had three stars. Steer clear of this place unless you want to dance with the devil. This hospital should be classified as a teaching hospital because they teach you never to come back.

TERRIBLE, POOR, & UNPROFESSIONAL practice. I was referred here by my orthopedic based off my…read moreinsurance network. I made an appointment about a month prior to the appointment date. Over the phone I gave them every bit of information on my insurance card. Appointment day I handed them my insurance card that they verified for a second time and allowed me to participate in my first and last PT session. I had ACL/ meniscus surgery about 10 days prior. In the session they took me in 15 minutes late, so now my hour session was 45 minutes. They rubbed my leg for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to tell me to lift my surgically repaired knee forward, backwards, and sideways 10x three sets of each. When I finished my first therapy session they made appointments for 3x per week for the next two months. When I returned for my second PT session they denied my entrance and cancelled all the future appointments they had made because "my insurance is NOT networked" with them. Shouldn't this have been confirmed the day I called and made my appointment a month prior to my appointment? Or maybe the day I showed up...a month later? They claim to have called twice prior to my appointment to confirm "missing insurance information". But I have absolutely no recollection. And believe me I had all the time in the world to call them back and give them any "missing information" they needed due to my physical condition. Since then, I have been receiving mail with a full charge of $374 dollars for one useless session they failed to tell me that I was not covered by my insurance. Even though they had over a month to verify it prior to my appointment and the day of when I gave them the physical copy. I messaged the billing department and they told me that despite everything, out of "goodwill" they can reduce my bill to $209 "full & final". Having to use crutches fresh off a knee surgery and drive myself 25 minutes for a useless laughable PT session and then later do it again to be denied, canceled, and billed the way they have been is disgusting. I just received another letter in the mail yesterday for the full $374 amount. So much for the "goodwill" My one and only, first and last therapy session was an absolute joke. I promise you that researching athletes that went through the same injury you may have suffered will get you better, stronger, & faster results than this place will.

Please listen to the reviews and go with your gut instinct before choosing Vibra for any loved one…read more My son suffered a TBI back in October and was sent to Vibra from UC Davis once he was medically stable. When my son arrived he was neuro storming and on medication to control it, he was responding on command and had total body movement when he left Vibra he wouldn't even open his eyes and had no more movement he wast sent by emergency to Mercy Folsom that is when we were told that he had developed pneumonia and Vibra was not aware of the infection until that morning . On that day my son had a fever I was called and told he needed a new central line, but not to worry he just needed some medication through an IV line for a low grade fever. When visiting was open my husband arrived to find our son in the ICU with a heart rate of 180 for more than 2 hrs a high fever and my son kept being poked more than 20 times because they couldn't place the central line they needed. My husband finally had enough and demanded for our son to be transferred to an emergency hospital, at this point the doctor admitted they had no control over the situation and called 911. This caused a major set back on our son's progress and recovery. He came to Vibra for improvement and instead suffered severe damage to his health. The first night I was able to stay with him and his CNA only came to check on him twice throughout the entire night shift. The last time she came by was around 2am and we never saw her again I was calling her trying to get her to come in because my son needed to be changed and was soaked in sweat due to the neuro storming he also had to be repositioned and she was no where to be found. When the morning CNA came in around 6:40am she was the one who helped me clean him up and changed him. When my son started to neuro storm the first night because his medications weren't given on time the nurse was asking me what the hospital was giving him for his condition. The doctor did not leave specific instructions on how to administer his medication and we were told there would always be a neurologist on site LIES! It has been 6 moths after only 5 days at Vibra and my son still has a long way to recover from the damage they caused him. Please, please, please do not trust anyone's care at Vibra especially if they cannot advocate for themselves. I was with my son all day everyday during his stay here and the care he received was awful imagine those who don't have someone with them at all times. The RT team, physical therapist that morning CNA are the only ones that I can say did a great job also the receptionist she was wonderful! Thanks to Vibra I will never trust another L-tech facility ever! Also after we left some of my son's personal belongings were missing we went back 3x but they were never found. Vibra was a nightmare to us!
