She asked how I felt about massages and that she knew an excellent place. I told her I used to get them from time to time but hadn't been happy with the service as of late, and finished up my work. A few hours after finishing I got a text from Shayne. That I was gifted a massage and to set up my appointment. When I got there Shayne and I talked about what hurt. She mentioned that my client noted my shoulder, but wanted to address anything else. Shayne actually teaches yoga as well! So I showed her movements, and where in my body hurt when I did them. She explained that my left hip might need more some attention too. This was a first for me. Having the consultation let me relax. Not having to worry about getting my shoulder getting worked on and enjoy my time on the heated table. The massage was very comfortable and smooth. Shayne made sure before starting that the face rest was comfortable, that the pillow under my shins was positioned correctly and that the table wasn't too hot for me. At the time, I was a student at the university where she teaches so I wasn't sure if she would consider it a conflict of interest even if I wasn't taking classes with her. She gave me the option to see one of her interns at the time, Jordan Holland. I immediately accepted the offer. I was truly desperate for help with managing and coping with my severe anxiety and mild to moderate depression. I ended up seeing Jordan for 5 years, even through the office location changing 3 times in the same general area. Jordan was so incredibly helpful. She helped me understand healthy boundaries, use coping strategies, and manage my anxiety and life stresses. She also saw me through my first pregnancy and let me bring my daughter with me initially when I was too nervous to be away from her but still wanted to be consistent with sessions. She helped me with adjusting to being a mom for the first time, especially when my anxiety caused me to be overly panicked about my newborn. I know Jordan has since closed her practice with the office due to having another baby, but I know without a doubt that the other therapists in this office are just as great. I would highly recommend them, especially for young women and children. It is time that I let others out there know about an amazing therapist, Karen Reeves! I immediately felt comfortable talking with Karen. She really puts you at ease and makes you feel safe right off the bat. I have never met a more compassionate or empathic therapist, and I have been to a couple of them over the years! Karen really treats you with integrity and the utmost respect and immediately got us to open up and really peel away at the layers as to get to the bottom of life lo9ng issues. For example, I've struggled with generalized anxiety disorder and depression for years. My last doc wanted to give me whatever drug they were pushing, ignored the debilitating side effects that I reported, insisting that I continue taking this drug for several more weeks before they would consider changing it. In fact, when I persisted in requesting something else, or something I could take just as needed, my former doc *yelled* at me in the exam room. The side effects of that medication were intolerable, so I stopped taking it and just struggled along for several more years. Finally our insurance changed, and the hubs found Dr. Grove... At my first visit I literally cried in her office, just because she heard me, heard what I was saying (Dr's often hear what they think, not what is actually being said), understood my aversion to medications, and didn't judge me for not wanting to take a daily pill. She actually worked with me as an individual to create a plan that took my quirks into account. I never feel rushed in our appointments either, which is another common Dr. gripe that I have- they want to get you in the exam room, take the vitals, write a Rx and/or schedule tests and get you out asap. Not so with Dr. Grove, she listens, asks questions, and learns about her patients to give the best care. I'll only go to Dr. Grove for the rest of my life, if at all possible. Highly recommend!!

I was able to get ahold of them first throw psychology today. I had insurance issues so i could not…read morebook anything. They have experise in an area I need and many don't have. I have called them 8 times and i can't leave a message. I submitted my insurance 2 months ago. During that time I have emailed them muliple times throw their main line, throw the main psychologists email and throw psychology today. I have heard nothing back FOR 2 MONTHS. I'm greatly disappointed they are my only option. I'm concerned how this reflects their competency as a business and in psychology if they won't respond. If I do get a hold of them how can i trust them to be able to get a hold of them? Because they could be my only option i would be willing to work with the ONLY IF THEY PROVIDE A NUMBER OF SOMEONE THAT I CAN CONTINUE TO GET A HOLD OF.
