You can tell she truly cares about her patients because she spends so much time with you. I never feel rushed. She always makes sure I have no other concerns or questions before the appointment is completed. She also talks with me about some of my physical health/symptoms and provides good insight and knowledge. You can easily tell just by the first 6 is highly experienced and incredibly knowledgeable. She is really good at communicating and helps me to see different perspectives. Unfortunately, I had to put my therapy on hold with her because of financial reasons. Co-payments from physical therapy twice a week, along with co-payments from many different doctors is too much for me right now. I am hoping to be able to utilize her again in the future. If you are having mental health issues, I would encourage your to reach out to Dr. Schultz. She is good at what she does.

She has guided us through mental health challenges, and we now have a more resilient and improved understanding of ourselves. I am also impressed by her genuine approach to treatment with children; she patiently works to establish trust and develop workarounds to open a dialog with them. Dr. Schultz has an exceptional listening quality, a warm and friendly demeanor, and promotes open communication with her patients. She is attentive to your unique needs and concerns and takes the time to educate you about a diagnosis and treatment. She has a firm understanding of drugs, their safety considerations, effects on patients, and the professional experience to know when to adjust or change medications due to side effects or ineffectiveness. I genuinely questioned if he was a real Dr. he had a disheveled looking man bring him a bag of things that seemed questionable at best. He seemed to have a problem with women and had a major issue if he perceived being questioned. He's dismissive and acts as though he's doing you a favor by seeing you and he was always doing something else the entire time of the appt. We only took my child here because he was the only one at the time who took his insurance. He had food delivered during the apt, took calls, and was going through stacks of boxes and paperwork half the time.

When I found this clinic , this was kind of my "last hope" type of situation. I talked to Heather and the staff about starting Spravato for my severe depression, anxiety. Heather was super kind and patient, taking her time explaining the medication to me, the process and just what I can expect. I told her I just don't want to live like this anymore. I can't. and she looked at me and said "Trust me, you don't have to". Fast forward, I'm a month in my Spravato treatments. My depression Id say has improved DRAMATICALLY. I wake up in the mornings excited and motivated to start the day. I also had crippling anxiety and that has improved tremendously as well. I can speak more confidently now. People say I sound and act different. I'm only a month in my treatments and so far it's been life changing. I'm excited about my future. I'm not just "surviving" anymore. If anyone considering... just schedule a consultation. Everyone has been so kind in the office. They give you a sense of hope. I am so grateful for this clinic. Take care and god bless everyone

And then when…read moreI asked for help extending my leave he got upset because I missed an appointment and told me he thought I was ready to go back to work. I told him what my job was telling me was acceptable, how I needed some extra breaks in between being screamed at by customers and that since I was grieving and had a new family crisis and death I needed some more time off work in addition to postpartum depression and anxiety. He got upset with me when I missed an appointment. His adhd, sleep deprived patient who was already fighting for her life missed an appointment and he immediately defaulted to being frustrated with me the next time I saw him. And then he told me "I will tell your job that you need these extra breaks and that once a month you need to call out for a mental health day no problem" SO I DID JUST THAT. I called out and I waited on the accommodations to come through my companies leave and accommodations department. But that never happened. Instead I get a phone call WEEKS later from Dr. Cheema. Where he apologizes for LYING TO ME and says he will only agree to the breaks. Getting me in trouble with my job for no good reason. I've had 5 deaths in the past few years on top of 2 births that both came with postpartum issues. He knew I was struggling and gaining an excessive amount of weight. My heart rate was an issue, and I was being monitored with the meds he prescribed. On top of this he had the audacity to call me out for missing an appointment ? When I would be waiting 30-45 minutes PAST my appointment time on a regular basis with no penalty or monetary benefit from him.... He wants to require payment if I miss it if I'm late but what about when HE IS LATE... nothing. After he admitted lying to me and he left me hanging high and dry in the middle of a crisis I sought help elsewhere. I found someone else who knew exactly what I needed and had no problem telling my job that I needed breaks and a day off from the abuse that came with the job. AND HERE WE ARE YEARS LATER... his wife Karen continues to call me asking me for money. "I'm not sure why you're not answering my calls" uhhh... maybe because your husband is a liar and predatory on people who truly need help? Let's chalk the money I "owe" you on services NOT RENDERED. Take the money I "owe" you as opportunity cost, y'all wasted my time numerous times. Read the other reviews on YELP. You're unorganized and I'm not paying another cent. Take my non payment as my late fee for all the times you made me sit in the waiting room WAY past when my appointment was. Respect is mutual and it's clear we both have none of that for each other. Time to move on. Don't call me again. I could have written this review years ago and should have. Your passive aggressive voicemail asking why I don't answer your calls just did it for me today. That's enough. Why didn't you answer my calls when I needed actual help? on top of that I owe what? $80 in late fees. Gtfoh. Leave me alone. "Sorry I lied to you" all I wanted was time to myself to recover. He told me I could have that and then backtracked trying to say because he didn't see me those days I called out that he couldn't cover them... huh??? This man saw me once a month and KNEW WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH. He TOLD ME he would get it covered and then LATER he told me "nvm" LEAVE ME ALONE. I'm not paying another dime to a liar or a thief of time. Figure it out yourself! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Do not get caught up in this man's bs. I got the help I truly needed elsewhere with no problem. Anyone considering this man should heed my warning and do the same! He should retire now, with any shred of dignity he has left. He's getting up there in age and probably should just walk away before more people start talking.
