I can here about a year ago and was not impressed. However, I can back about a month ago and was completely blown away. They greeted me immediately and were so friendly. I was offered water or a soda upon sitting down. My nail technician was fantastic. I was so pleasantly surprised with the level of service compared to a year ago. I loved my nails and the whole experience. Not sure what they did but the positive change is evident. I am back again and will continue to make this my new pedicure nail salon. Got a 10% off text for my birthday. Went to check their prices on their website. Arrived and was seated in about ten minutes. Must have been a new gal. She left skin around nails that needed trimming. She also was timid about those big toe ingrown nails. Massage was weak and her nail painting was not good at all. Went to pay any was told $51 I told her I had a coupon. She showed it to a guy which seemed unhappy about me using it. Also, their website showed one price and their menu was different for the same thing. Made me pay higher price. Not happy at all for a birthday pedi! Never going back. Very disappointed. I had dip and the tech put on the wrong color. I questioned it and noticed the number on the jar wasn't the correct number. The tech brought out the wrong brand and wrong color! She ended up applying the correct color over the wrong color instead of removing everything and starting over, which resulted in my nails being too thick with dip. I should have read reviews but my sister in law said she'd had good luck here so I decided to try it out but won't again. read more

The salon is very clean and the workers are very very nice. They have very nice pedicure chairs.....BUT, I don't think I want to go back there after the last two times I have had a pedicure. One time, the lady never massaged my feet, which I thought was strange. Also, I had to pay extra to have the callous removed...really? This last time was the last straw. They kept asking if I wanted gel on my toes. I said no thank you repeatedly. I paid extra for a full service pedicure, $62. The pedicure was fine but they put on gel polish without doing the UV light, which might be okay but it took forever to dry. Why not using just regular OPI polish? After 30 minutes of waiting for it to dry, I went home. When I got home, it was smudged on several toes. I had to go back. Then when I arrived and stated my polish was smudged, the manager yelled out "you should have gotten gel then they dry immediately". I held my tongue and let them fix it. Will I go back? Probably not. Will try the other nail salon in Ridgefield. read more

Not impressed. I came here a bit ago with another person. Upon entry I let them know I had acrylic powder on and I wanted to remove and start fresh. They thanked me for telling them and wrapped my fingers in foil and acetone. The person I came with was seen right away for their pedi. They set up a bowl next to my party once my hands were ready to go. I walk over to the pedi bowl and wait. At first no issues because the other person in my party was getting services that would take longer (historically speaking), so giving a head start seemed cool-we could possibly end at the same time. I ended up waiting 45 mins in my pedi bowl before someone came to help me. The nail tech said my nails were too short to cut. When I insisted saying I'm over due with 4 weeks of growth, they were able to magically trim them. The paint job was shotty. They didn't like that I "just got the basic" pedicure and it absolutely showed. After my pedi was done, I was asked to wait in the front when switching to my manicure half of services. The other person in my party was seen right away. Another 45 mins + to be seen. Please note- the entire time I got my pedi and was waiting my hands were wrapped in foil and acetone. At the two hour mark I speak up and say, "I don't think it's safe my hands are sitting with acetone this long." I waited a total of 1.5 hours of dead time. It was almost a 3 hour visit. The manicure portion was pretty bad. At the end they noticed the pedicure paint job and fixed a toe by painting over, not removing first. I objected because I didn't want to be there anymore and after sitting for three hours I needed to move! They insisted. I thanked them. Paid the minimum I would leave anyone tip for nail services and left. 1.5 stars and that's generous in my opinion. The other person in my party had easily 30mins+ free time before I was done. Unfortunately we drove together. I felt bad, but they made the most of it and went grocery shopping. When I linked up with my party after I was done, we both agreed we wouldn't be coming back. It was a terribly long time for basic services and the quality was sub par, not to mention the combative tech doing my pedicure. Her comments had other techs giving "looks" to my reaction. It was just overall super unprofessional. Kudos to the store at the end for trying to make things right and verbally apologizing for the wait. But it my first time there, I was not impressed and don't want to gamble coming back or wasting my money. It's a shame because usually I'm a creature of habit and get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. I'm moving to the area and will keep my eyes peeled for a better salon. Strongly suggest seeking services elsewhere due to my experience. I came a few time and it was great But the person I was seeing no longer work there I came in two times after and both times left unhappy asked for manicure and full set of acrylic nails liquid gel nail polish. I understand if there's a little sanding on the nails, but asked that they not use electric file on my nail beds and she did it anyway and not only did she make my nail paper thin she burnt my finger with it and two of my nails were crooked worst job I've ever had done. I have been to this salon several times and have always had a good experience...but NOT this last time. The pleasant gentleman who did my pedicure went through the motions, but he did not do a good job. He wiped the cuticle lotion off with the cuticle pusher, without pushing back the cuticle on my right foot, he swiped the emery board across most (not all) of my nails 1-3 times without evening them up, AND he never buffed/smoothed the top of the nails so the polish is on uneven nails. I completed the survey they sent me and they sent a response asking me to call the salon so they can make things right...when I called the manager (Danny) basically told me, "Too bad". My nails look decent, but they never do my cuticles and $44 for a fill with zero massage, lotion, cuticle care or anything... is insane. They took their price board down and just spring the increased cost on you at the register. I'll make the trip to Madison Nails instead from now on. I've been incredibly impressed by this salon every time I've gone. My sister and I both get our nails done here. They do beautiful work and have a huge selection of colors. If I could leave a negative star I would! My wife and I are in town for a wedding and the bridal party came here to get their nails done... They started 1 girl's pedicure, and kept the others waiting. Then they'd start on another girl, but kept others waiting. They'd infrequently start work on girls just to seemingly keep them there. After several hours some girls had their nails done and others didn't. Finally, my wife went to target and bought some fake nails to finish manicures on girls who didn't get their work done. Well, I should have listened to the reviews. When I called, the man I spoke with on the phone was very friendly so I was hopeful. He told me that they were doing a gift card special where you get 15-25% off if paying cash, or $5-$10 off the pedicure if paying cash. Come time to pay after my pedicure, the nail tech told me it was only 5% off if paying cash, making it just $2 off. I felt duped for sure. And by the way, they charge an additional $5 for callous removal. I paid $40 for a basic pedicure with callous removal, which is already more expensive than other places around. In addition, the nail tech was coughing frequently, and not very friendly. I also didn't like how she shaped my nails. Unfortunately I will not be back after such a poor experience. read more

My friend & I went in tonight to get a simple nude colored nail with a bow design, and first and foremost had to wait 30-40 min even though we made an appointment. Then when I got seated was approached rudely, and we both never got asked what color we wanted even though we tried telling them. We ended up leaving with not the color or design we wanted just to get out of there as fast as we could. Such a waste of time/money. Please go somewhere else. read more

I am very disappointed in this place! I have been a handful of times and 3 out of 5 have been disappointing! Today was my final chance for this place. When women go into a salon they want to feel pampered! Today I went in to get a pedicure. I had to wait about 15 minute, no big deal. I get a chair and the male mgr was my manicurist. He rushed through my nails pushing back my cuticles. Throughout my pedicure he would help the people coming in and answer phones! When it came to my massage he made sure to show me the timer was set to 5 minutes. 2 minutes into my massage the phone rings and he steps away to answer. He comes back couple minutes later and then the alarm goes off. He turns off the alarm and the massage is over. I asked him is that it? He says 5 minutes was up. I said you left to go answer phone during it! He completely ignored me! It was the worst experience! I felt completely rushed and it was not a pleasant experience! I will not be back! I HOPE THEY LEARN FROM THIS! Everyone deserves to feel special and relaxed when visiting a salon! I won't give my money to businesses that have poor customer service! read more

I've been here a number of times and never had any negative experiences. Today Holly did my pedi and will be my go-to from now on. She is thorough and did a great job. I a dude getting a pedi (and occasional mani) so perhaps I don't see it through the same lense as a woman, but Bella is perfectly fine for me. I've never had to wait either but maybe that's just luck - must come on slow days. Can't blame them for wanting cash - it's cultural in Asia to deal in cash, and it saves money not paying bank fees. I figured I'd take a minute to write a good review about this salon in light of how many that are poor. I moved to Ridgefield recently and while I won't change my regular salon to go to Bella, I will come back again should I need a quick manicure, pedicure as it's awfully convenient and my experience was very positive. I went in yesterday for a gel manicure. I asked over the phone about pricing because of the reviews about issues with the cost for services. I was told a gel manicure was $34, but if paying by cash it would be 15% off. I decided to bring cash with me (I normally don't) and the services were, in fact, discounted by 15% which is actually very nice and generous. The lady that helped me upon arrival (not sure of her name) was very friendly. I explained I had made an appointment for 2pm for a gel mani and was seated with another technician. I'm not sure of her name - the tools were labeled Jennie, so I assume that may have been her name. While she conversed with the other ladies in her native language the entire time, she was fast and did an excellent job. I wasn't interested in any of the gel samples they had out and asked about a neutral gel, such as OPI Bubble Bath. The woman that helped me initially (manager maybe?) overhead and said she had the color gel and handed it over to my technician from her station. The services were handled quickly and while it could have been a bit friendlier, I can't really complain. The salon is lovely, very nicely decorated, super clean. Everyone had masks on (worn correctly), they had the acrylic partitions at each station, even the sink to wash your hands was super tidy and clean versus dirty nail brushes were labeled. They also offered me a beverage, which is also a nice touch - a glass of wine which was especially good. I definitely appreciated the manicure and good service. Hopefully it continues as the area is growing and the salon could really develop a loyal following with good service, competitive pricing and professional staff. read more

WORST service!!! They kept trying to up the prices verbally and I asked to see the menu with prices. I told them their callus removal states $5 on their menu (and pointed to it during this conversation) and the owner kept saying they raised the price to$7 but that they hadn't updated their menus!! Went in for a mani and pedi. Pedi was ok, was not asked which pedicure I wanted as far as the add on that comes with it. I have in the past, today it was just picked for me.... Got a regular manicure, 1-5 stars, charged $25 to clean cuticles, massage, and apply lotion. Stated that file, would be an extra $1. I was very appalled, that this would be an extra charge, evan if it was $1. Never had a basic manicure, in which filing the nails are an extra charge. Would possibly go back for a pedicure, but that would be it. Hopefully, I do not get Nicky. I think that was the name. Pro-They do give you a swallow of mimosa. Went in today for a pedicure and manicure. After it taking 1.5 for my pedicure because the girl was on the phone the majority of the time wasn't paying attention wasn't a fabulous pedicure. She takes me over to a nail station to start my manicure. She wraps my nails with acetone and leaves me to go do another customer's nail set. After waiting for 30 minutes with acetone still wrapped around my fingers, I ask if someone else can help me since it's been 2 hours since I had been there and hadn't started on my manicure. Another tech came over to remove my polish and i left without a manicure. When I tried addressing the level service I received to the gentleman he didn't care and said she was just completing the polish. I will never go back to this place.
