First off, online it states that they take walk ins and i decided to come here. I've been here for pedicures before and they've been decent and I'm going to a wedding soon so i decided to get a full set as well. As soon as i walked in and asked if they had time, they gave me dirty looks and started talking to each other in Vietnamese. I stood there for a couple of minutes because no one said anything to me until someone from the back finally told me to have a seat, the pedicure was fine but my pants were soaked at the knee from where I had pulled them up. The girl who did my nails did not really listen to what I wanted and I wanted to say something about it but I was not comfortable about it because i guess someone with the same name as me called to make an appointment for the same thing and didnt show and they thought it was me. I asked for short almond and none of my nails are the same shape let alone even close to an almond shape, there's nails polish on my fingers, bubbles on my nails, the whole thing felt rushed and the workers gave off the vibe that I was inconveniencing them for wanting to get my nails done here. Lastly, there are ring cameras and someone who was watching them was yelling at them through the cameras. I definitely will not be returning and I'm upset that I was put in that uncomfortable of a position just because I didn't make an appointment and someone else who happened to have the same name as me didn't show. This place is terrible and unsanitary firstly the nail tech filled the water basin for my pedicure with cold water then when I complained that I could not put my foot inside she made the water too hot, also there was a fly buzzing around the place and darting back and forth by the window which is where I was located, however the worst part is that since going there the skin on my feet has been getting more and more rough and I've had this slight pain on the side of one of my toenails that I assumed was from a shoe or something but low and behold my toenail is actually infected. I really regret coming here and I am not sure how they even have customers let alone still be an operating salon. If you have any sense at all you would not go to this place....seriously! read more

We waited maybe 5-10 minutes which was fine. The lady who did my nails ended up cutting me twice with the file. And after she cut me the first time so prompted me to put that same finger in alcohol. I refused and left it out while the others were in. The customer service was very good (reason for the 3 stars) but the execution was horrible, at least for me. First off, when I walked in and there was a strong fishy smell inside the nail salon. Should've known from there to just walk out. All I needed was to have my acrylic nails cut shorter and removed. I've been coming to this salon for awhile, but honestly it's just more and more proving to be unsanitary and I have reached my limit after my recent appointment. Two days ago I went to get my nails done. A much older woman who works there was walking around with her shoes halfway off, dragging her feet on the ground. Fine- she must be tired. Not how I would personally want an employee to represent my business but oh well, we are all human. What really got me was then when she sat down at the PEDICURE CHAIR THAT CUSTOMERS SIT ON, took her shoes off, stuck her bare feet on the plastic footing of the chair, and pulled out a bucket of sunflower seeds to eat. For the next thirty minutes of my appointment I listened to her crack sunflower seeds in her mouth, but that wasn't even the worst part. She proceeded to put the eaten sunflower shells (from her mouth) on the BARE SIDE TABLE of the pedicure chair. This establishment charges a hefty price and it's gross. Not only extremely unprofessional but just flat out gross and unsanitary, not to mention an extremely poor experience of something that's supposed to be "relaxing", listening to her chew and crack sunflower seeds. The quality of this place is going downhill, loyal customer lost. For a place that charges like it's a fine nail salon, the employees behave like it's their home. read more

Growing up in San Diego I have been to many nail salons for pedicures. This is by far the best best ever! Everyone who works there is so nice, they always offer water or champagne and you never have to wait. I feel so comfortable there, they play great music and it's quiet mt helix neighborhood with plenty of easy parking. The pedicures are amazing and last about 1 months. They really take their time. I love this place! I won't go anywhere else. They are also so sweet to my 15 yr old daughter and do great brow waxing for her. Super affordable. It's never hot in there either. So I made an appointment for in the morning so I could hopefully be in and out. However, I got there and they told me to wait, which is not a problem, but another woman just finished up on a client and just hid in the back while another appointment walked in for the same time slot and she got sat down immediately and worked on by someone else. The second time I came in I tried calling back to back to back, but no one answered, so I just showed up and the first thing they asked me was if I had an appointment and I then what happened because they looked like they were gonna turn me away. I've postponed writing a bad review for awhile because the ladies have always been nice. I visited today to have my acrylics removed and get a gel manicure. I stated several times that the acrylic was on my natural nail and there was no longer any fake nail glued to my nail. While my fingers were soaking in acetone a woman who was getting her nails powder dipped told her tech that she was tired of her attitude and would not see her again after the visit was over. When my nail tech started using the nail drill everything seemed to be going smoothly until the second round of drilling after I had re-soaked in acetone. The drill slipped and took out a chunk of my natural nail much lower than I had anticipated cutting them. On another finger she almost drilled through my nail and I had to pull my hand away. This was the first time I've ever said "owe" in a nail salon. She tried to tell me there was still acrylic on my nail until I pointed out the difference in elevation from my nail bed to the edge of my nail. She then asked how short I wanted my nails and I had to point out the chunk she had taken out of my thumb nail. She cut my nails and began to shape them. It was at that point that a woman walked in to have her nails redone as her gel polish from YESTERDAY was peeling off already and she was told to come in and Julie would do her nails for her. They yelled for Julie, who was somewhere in the back, and she started on fixing this woman's nails, meanwhile mine were still in shambles. I realized that I was not asked to pick out a color and my nail tech hadn't reached for other supplies for a manicure. She finished filing and asked if I wanted to wash my hands. When I went to wash my hands I inspected my nails and there were little frayed bits and a piece was hanging off. I sat back down and informed her I only wanted nail hardener. Instead of running errands that I had planned to after getting my nails done, I'm home about to get to work on properly shaping my nails and taking off my cuticles. It's going to take months for my nails to grow out before this damage is no longer seen or felt. read more

I was really disappointed that I asked specifically for the price of a basic spa pedicure with gel polish and was quoted $30 and up. I assumed it would be a little more for the gel polish, but when I got through with the service I was told $42. Why not just tell me that price in the quote? Upcharges are NOT cool, especially if there was no up-service! Also, I asked for an eyebrow & lip wax, but the wax was too hot so it ripped part of my skin off! I've been coming to this place for a few years and honestly this will be my last visit. They lack professionalism in a few areas, they are not attentive to the customer in their chair. A lot of stop and go to attend to customers walking in the door. I am in the service industry so I understand having to walk away for a few mins but through out the whole service is not ok. Also, I don't think it's professional to have an upset customers phone call on speaker for the whole shop to hear. It took away from the relaxing experience my sister & I were trying to have. To top off it off, they allowed customers to eat inside their establishment without a mask on in the middle of a pandemic. I still paid & tipped because they performed an okay service. I was told on the phone that manicure fake nail with gel is only $35 and pedicure gel is only $28 and so I told them I'm on my way. When I got my manicure and predicate I freaking paid $78 +1 fee for using a debit card. And the lady that swipe my card automatically gave herself 15% tips that gives me 89$ total for everything ! Don't ignore reviews... Booked online through YELP it was a fairly easy process and I got in quickly (the next day). Techs were friendly but there was a miscommunication between when/what I booked the appointment for. I wanted to get my acrylic off, do a dip nail and regular pedicure. The tech did pedicure - all good. When it came to the nails, she asked if she could keep on the nail as it was. (BACKSTORY) When I was in Guam they did not do a proper job on the acrylic so I didn't want to keep it but I thought maybe because I had never gotten the dip that it was normal to leave the nail on once filed down. She did a decent job on the ombre acrylic but there were globs of product under my nails dried that weren't filed down, there were area were my natural nail was exposed, some of the nail shape didn't match or was too squared and scratchy. I don't think they were busy at the time but I felt like she either didn't take the time to make sure they were just right or maybe she didn't care. Unfortunately - this will keep me from returning in the future as I would like to not have to fix my nails myself after leaving. Hopefully other will have a better experience. read more

Horrible experience from beginning to end. I went in to get a full set of nails yesterday. I spent over two hours between waiting to get my nails done until they finally finished. The lady that started working on my nails was hurting my fingers while filing down the set that I was getting replaced. She lifted skin from the edge of my nails and almost cut part of my finger when clipping my nails- I literally had to pull my hand away from her. I originally let her know that I wanted her to file down the acrylic because they were looking too thick and bulky. After a while she had someone else help her file down the excess acrylic and this girl came in with a bad attitude-from the look in her face to treating me as if I were her five year old child when she asked if the shape was okay. At this point I just wanted to get out of there because I did not feel welcome at all. It was time for me to pay and apparently I wasn't fast enough to reach for my cash because the same girl with the attitude crossed her arms and took a deep breath looking really annoyed. She went to the register, gave me my change and walked away without looking at me or saying a word. I will usually give a tip even if I don't like the end result (I will just make sure to not go there anymore and not even take my time for a bad review) but this is by far my worst experience at a nail salon that not only did she not give me a chance to tip but I didn't feel good about leaving a tip for such horrible service from beginning to end. The owner was nice in regards to scheduling our appts. Via yelp. The rest was downhill. I scheduled a mani and pedi for myself, as well as, a pedi for my mom. We arrived on time for our appts. We both waited 30 minutes before even getting to sit in a pedicure chair to soak our feet. There were plenty of open chairs to sit so it isn't like there wasn't any room. The lady that gave me a pedicure was horrible. She cut me 3 times on 3 different toes. There was NO massage. I repeat - NO massage! Instead, they all (I saw while here) punch your calves. Very uncomfortable and actually painful. I now have 2 hang nails. Lastly, we spent a total of 1.5 hours here. 1 hour was spent waiting, 30 min waiting for our pedicure and then 30 minutes of me waiting for my mom to finish hers because her pedicure began an hour after our scheduled appointments. I never even got my scheduled manicure. They kept taking more people that arrived for their appointments that were also delayed by 30 minutes, instead of finishing the people that were already waiting. So I canceled my manicure and left. Unfortunately, these appointments were scheduled several days prior to us coming in. They obviously over book here and do not have enough help. Don't waste your time or money. It was $60 for ONE gel pedicure, not including any tip. Go elsewhere unless you want to be cut, have painful calf beatings, no foot massage and hang nails!!!!!! read more
